  1. Haihai everyone!

So I just wanted to say congratulations to everyone's faves who made the group, and while some of us may be upset with some of our faves not making it, I wish them nothing but the best in their future endeavors.

Now to the boys who made the final 11, here's to future success for both them indvidually, and as Wanna-one.

Please enjoy this never-before-seen actual footage of Pick Me Up aficionado/future Yuehua Boys member, Ahn Hyungseop, presenting the boys with their exclusive logo:

Nooo haha. He'll reach Seunghyeok's height. Poor Hyungwoong harharplz.png

I remember I used to think he might be one of the shortest but that was just the camera angle and his image

LOL, he must've had one heck of a growth spurt during the season. harharplz.png I could see him being Seunghyuk's height...but omg, wait...what if Seunghyuk suddenly grew, too? And then Justin's younger than him too, which means...

....OMG, THIS GROUP IS GONNA BE FULL OF TREES! Does that mean Wee Woo & Hyungseop will be the bushes? warstarplz.png

  3. IKR! I'm just like, how big are Justin's insoles laugh.pnglaugh.png

Poor Hyungseob and Euiwoong. If the taller kids wear insoles - what are they supposed to do? 0u0plz.png

If this is how tall Justin is, now, imagine him in a couple of years....amgplz.png

The height differences in the group are going to be crazy XD

  4. I don't mean to sound harsh or anything, but Nu'est fans do realize that either way, the group's popularity has increased greatly from this, right? Not only did the boys make it to the final episode, but now their already loyal fandom is gaining new fans from the show. I get you're upset that JR, Baekho & Ren, didn't make it, but they could even get love calls from all of this attention. Besides, now that Minhyun made Wanna-one (BOI is better), not only will he be able to bring attention to Nu'est during his tenure in the final 11 group, but once his contract is up with them, he'll carry that recognition over to his home group afterwards. It all works out for you guys.

  5. Soooo, just wondering as a first-time watcher, this season:

Since there are live votes in the finale, could/would they make that much of a difference in who's BOI, and who's not?

*cough*cough*ACHOOOOO(anticipate Hwanwoong/Jungki/Nemo's finale takeover 2K17)OOO! Sorry, had to sneeze.

  6. Hai my fellow DearFriends! I haven't been in the Gx9 thread for a while, so forgive me if this has already been asked already:

Does anyone know if, or even when, our girls could make a comeback? I was hoping they'd make one sometime this fall, but I'm not sure at this point. Would love to know! ^_^

  7. I just realized I don't know the biases of most people in this thread. I guess I'll share my favorites, then. Jung Jung was my ultimate bias from the moment I saw his P101 intro video (I have a thing for dancers). Justin was my 2nd fave because he's cute, but lately Hyungseob has risen to become my 2nd fave (sorry Justin). I like Euiwoong and Seunghyuk, but tbh I need to see more of Seunghyuk's personality, since he never got screentime on the show.

Hihi! So I'm a Jung Jung stan from the moment I saw his video, too (even been following him since his profile was released in the first set, lol.) Justin would also be my 2nd fave. His initial audition & eyecontact vids didn't really appeal to me, but after seeing him perform during his Replay & SOY stages, and watching his interractions with JJ, he really impressed me. ^_^ Judging by his audition/box vids, Seunghyuk strikes me as the shy, gentle type, and with his vocals being so calming & soothing, it makes him all the more likeable. I also like Hyungseop, & Wee Woo grew on me later in the season, so I'm very happy to stan Yuehua Boys! ^_^

  8. The fact when Daniel & lil Woojin hugging, looks like a kid crying because his mom's leaving him home alone for the first time.

Woojin: *cries* but mom, I can't make dinner all by myself...T__T

Daniel: *hugs him* Don't worry honey, there's some chicken nuggets in the freezer for you

    ðŸ’

  9. Everyone gets so butt hurt about lack of "talent". I'm pretty sure that every contestant is 99.9% better than the general public in their field whether it be rapping, dancing and singing. If there is less hate and dumbfucks stop using the word "talentless" im sure that the group can be just as sucessful as I.O.I.

    That's....definitely a good reason. >.>

The reason why people stress lack of talent, is because people are expecting to see their favorites deliver a great performance, and bring their all to the stage. Keep in mind that once these boys debut as BOI, they're going to be competing with a slew of other groups that have been around, so while it's understandable that people want to see their faves make it, at the end of the day, whoever makes it into the final group, deserves to be in one that can be both respected & taken seriously as a unit delivers, not just because they have a pretty face, or because they do cute aegyo, either.

Oh, and on the part about "99.9% of the trainees," it's very clear that some of the contestants on the show prove otherwise.

  10. Can't believe Youngmin has to deal with the repercussions of an event that shouldn't even HAVE repercussions. Are idols not supposed to have lives? It's one thing for a person to uphold a certain standard while being in the spotlight, but to have them sacrifice/low-key deny them basic things like the chance to date? Uh-uh, K-netz are being too much.

Let him live, and entertain you, because dealing with the complexities of Produce 101 & Mnet(rocity), AND trying to debut is enough stress for a person's psyche.

  11. The thing is, Yuehua doesn't really need the Korean market at this point. They're established and thriving in China alone. I personally think they don't want the money but they want the global exposure K-Pop can provide seeing the career trajectories of people like Kris Wu. By being in K-Pop, they can entice a bigger international audience to eventually be led to their Chinese projects, especially with the involvement of their K-Pop acts. Breaking into Korea is merely a strategy, not a goal.

Even with UNIQ, it's the Chinese members who are thriving. They tried pushing Sungjoo but the 'ban' happened. But you see Yibo on those huge programs graced by A-listers. In the end, it's the Chinese members who win.

Same with PD101 - I don't think the goal was winning but exposure.

I'm surprisedI wasn't the only one who noticed MNet probably seemed to have a dislike for the Yuehua kids (or maybe Yuehua in general)

I get some trainees not getting screentime (some of them just lack that TV personality) but Jung Jung, Justin and Wee Woo had a lot of potential arcs that could have been utilized..but MNet didn't. Yes, and that Seunghyuk blatant disrespect.

But lbh, Yuehua just needs to make a call and Jung Jung/Justin can appear on those popular Chinese variety shows watched by hundreds of millions of people and trend on Weibo overnight. I'm honestly more worried about the long term prospects of Hyeongseob and Wee Woo given that 1) Yuehua doesn't seem to be that influential or connected in the Korean entertainment circle yet and 2) those two boys seem to know zero Mandarin unlike Seunghyuk + the 'ban'. Among the Yuehua trainees, Hyeongseob and Wee Woo need this top 11 debut the most.

Yeah, most of the Yuehua boys aren't exactly shy on-camera, so the fact that Mnet's not focusing on things like Jungki, or even Hyungseop that much, is odd. Some of the trainees, quite frankly, don't do anything, yet get more attention. What kind of convoluted mess is that? I agree with you on some trainees not having the personality, but it's like the majority of Yuehua boys actually are giving & Mnet's not taking.

There was a rumor earlier this season that Seunghyuk may not have gotten screentime bc he was the alleged leaker of the info about the ranking system privileges, tho that's still up in the air. Yet with that, he wasn't even featured in shots with the other four...imstupid.png Hey, if they were able to land Mei Qi & Xuan Yi gigs, then JJ & Justin should gladly be fine. I wouldn't even be surprised if they YH tried to lowkey promote the two as a special "duo" before they officially debut. Didn't Wee Woo rebound a bit with his rap cover mission performance? Don't know about Hyungseop, though. :/

  12. Sis I would honestly be more worried for Hyeongseob and Wee Woo in the long run seeing the difference in the success of the Chinese and Korean members of UNIQ...Jung Jung and Justin will earn that renminbi

Okok you've got a point there. Hyeongseop & Wee Woo (omg that nickname ♥) were doing so well, yet are dropping like flies. Heck, Seunghyuk was disrespected HARD by Mnet with .00001% screentime, even with his decent vocals & great personality. At this point, I fully believe that Mnet is mad at Yuehua bc of how fierce their boys are, and how much potential they've got.

They better get that renminbi! If K-netz couldn't appreciate what they could bring to the table, then China should. chuplz.png

  13. Can I just say how Jung Jung, Justin, Heeseok, Eunki, and Hwanwoong deserve SOOO much better than this? People slept on them all season long, and even when they slayed their performances or gave hardcore fanservice (Jungki REPRESENT), people gave zero craps about them, whatsoever. This is unjust, this is disrespectful, and once again, K-netz are doing the boys a major injustice.
