  1. I wanted to like it since Rose is my favorite BP member but the lyrics are making me cringe and I don't like how mid tempo it is. It feels like it wants to be a ballad at some parts and then comes the drop and gives you the impression it's going to go hard but then it goes nowhere. I hope it's sucessful anyways because I still want to hear more material from her and she deserves full commitment from YG.
  2. I wonder if it would be better and more profitable if she stays in Japan and continues her career there but I guess with kpop becoming global and her being so popular in other countries, this sounds like a great idea. Also while her stage presence is amazing, she's far better suited as a girl group member than a soloist.
  3. No amount of success and money would make me think this is acceptable. I much rather live a regular teenage life with all it's trials and tribulations and then work in a conventional job as an adult than deal with the lack of personal space, the mess all around me and work colleages living in the same place as I do (even if I get along with them).
  4. Same. As overwhelming as it is, I'm glad so many people are being exposed because I can't imagine the pain their victims went through watching their bullies on TV being showered with money, fame and love after everything they've done. Also it sets an example for future idols to not follow this same path.
  5. They should focus on giving NCT better title tracks and stop media training their rookies to the point it makes them act like robots on camera. We need better music and more fun content from SM groups like they had back in the day, not new groups.
  6. My first thought was Jonghyun and it makes me sad. He's so missed.
  7. I think this only works if you're truly innocent, which doesn't seem to be the case for most of these actors and idols.
  8. The age difference between them isn't a big deal, she's 25 and he's 32, and I feel like they match but the fact he knew her since she was a teenager definitely doesn't sit right with me
  9. I feel like as long as BTS is still at their prime there's no chance another BigHit boy group will hit it big. The fans are fed with so much material from BigHit and the BTS members that I just don't see how there's going to be room to find interest on stanning other guys from other groups even if they are from the same company. It would make more sense, at least to me, for him to launch a girl group in a similar format as BTS (as in the same number of members, members who write their own lyrics and produce their music etc) and I have no idea why it's taking so long.
  10. It seems to me like they are in good terms and would be open to reunite as a group but this is a job and it's only natural you would search for better career opportunities for yourself after a contract ends. You don't stick around in a job solely because you get along with your work colleagues when you can be happier and more fulfilled doing something else.
  11. It's sad she doesn't seem happy doing musicals because I feel like it would be such a good career path for her

    aespa - Forever

I'm not sure if this is a step in the right direction to get them more recognition from the general public in Korea or international fans but I love the song and the girls sound great. It would be better though if the MV had a storyline instead of choreography and if it was released on Christmas.
  13. I really don't understand the point of this. If the girl was lying, he quickly would've posted a statement clarifying the situation... it's just logical. It's better to accept the reality and evaluate if you still want to keep stanning him despite this obvious, clear information instead of being in denial.
  14. Well, if we think about it both scenarios would make sense... not accepting because it's better to play it safe since both BTOB and Monsta X were put in a tough spot with members leaving because of controversies or accepting the offer for the exact same reason.
  15. Well, this is a job after all. They may not release music as much as people want them to but by renewing with YG they aren't overworked, aren't pressure to have plastic surgery and, most importantly, are very well-paid.
  16. I totally get why Monsta X decided to not to join the show. They are not crazy popular but popular enough to decide it's better to be safe than sorry. One less than stellar performance or an atittude controversy and they destroy everything they managed to build. In fact, the same goes to BTOB.
  17. People always praise her for her looks (rightfully so) but Sana's stage presence is insane
  18. This is nice and makes sense since kpop is more global than ever. It's going to be a good opportunity for small groups who have a significant following from i-fans to get a bit of attention in their home country.
  19. Really hope they don't disband. I know all the girls, especially Hwasa, have potential as soloists but they are so talented and have so much chemistry together it would be a pity to not see them performing as a group anymore.
  20. 1. Playing With Fire 2. Lovesick Girls 3. Boombayah 4. DDD 5. As If It's Your Last 6. HYLT 7. Whistle 8. Stay 9. Ice Cream 10. Kill This Love
  21. From a outsider perspective, I'm a bit surprised by the comments of JYP mistreating them because I always felt like they were everywhere back when Winner was in their early years and wished YG would give them the same opportunities. That said, I'm not suprised about them leaving because if JYP didn't even fight tooth and nail to keep Suzy in the company then it's believable that he wouldn't have given much effort to keep the boys.
  22. I'm talking more in the sense of it being a Growl, Mirotic, Lies, Sorry Sorry etc but yeah, the newer boy groups are making good songs and have talented people but it's getting harder and harder for them to have a smash hit, which is unfortunate.
  23. YG keeps his main groups so separated you feel like they are direct competitors instead of label mates but the old YG family concerts were such a blast that maybe I'm being naive but I think it would do more good than harm since there are so many possible fun collaborations. Who knows, maybe it might even help a bit with the fanwars.
