Isn't he one of the most popular members? IMO she has even more damaging information about him that she can expose and that's why Starship decided to kick him out.

lol, I love horror movies so rather than picking just one I will make a small list: The Others, The Babadook, The Possession of Deborah Logan, The Invitation, the first The Conjuring movie (although I also liked the 2nd), It part 1 and 2

I think things like that are good reminders of how important it is to keep a healthy distance from celebrities and the entertainment industry in general. At the end of the day we don't know these people and what they are capable of doing so while we can't help getting emotionally invested or even upset, reality shocks are important because they help us to start looking at them in a more nuanced and less idealized way.

Victoria Song updates her weibo responding to negative comments
sinnfb replied to Rimana's topic in Celebrity News & Gossip
This was really well written and necessary. Let people grieve in peace and in their own way. -
I'm sorry but I have absolutely no sympathy or him. He's not the one to blame for her suicide but he's a predator and did nothing to protect her image to the public, in fact, he only made things worse for her. I understand where Yeeun is coming from and yes, he's not responsible for Sulli but he was responsible for damaging her image to the public which could've cost her job and affect her mental health.
-
Exactly. Also it's not like they kept Sulli after she left f(x) because they cared about her... they did it because they thought she was profitable. Also it's unbelievable they were aware of how hurt she was by the hate comments and let her be part of a show like Night of Hate Comments.

I cannot stress enough how much I despise k-netz culture

Internet comments about celebrities in general can be really toxic but yeah, it feels like in Korea they have an extra layer of it because of the ridiculous expectations of perfection. You can't date, you can't drink, if you get PS you get hate and get hate if you doesn't, you have to take abuse from your seniors just because they are older than you, is contractually obligated to follow strict diets, work in terrible conditions and long hours... it's just too much. That said, in Sulli's case strangely enough my mind went straight to the fact she started in this industry too young. It seems like she had this celebrity life thrown at her when she was at an age she couldn´t possibly understand what it meant. This is a serious problem with the idol industry (although I know she started off as an actress) in general. These kids main occupation should be studying, hanging out with friends... not being the breadwinner of their families. -
For me the biggest sign he hasn't changed at all and his bullying was quite vicious is the fact stuff keeps coming up from his past even if it's been a while since he debuted. He must have hurt his victims pretty badly and I wonder if he has big connections in SM to explain why he doesn't get kicked out... he's charismatic and conventionally attractive but there are thousands of charismatic and conventionally attractive korean boys out there. They already afforded to lose 3 members of DBSK back in the day and Luhan, why else would they care so much about Taeyong out of all people?

I thought they did really well! Rosé seems comfortable and it's clear it was decided she would be their english spokesperson beforehand. Jennie is a bit more shy but she will get over it with time and experience.
-
I understand your concern but I think it's fine since it's just a couple of appearances to promote a song they released months ago. It would be a problem if they went straight to the US right after making a comeback in Korea but thankfully this isn't the case.

The girls' styling and make-up for Fashion Week has been on point. Props to their team for highlighting their beauty instead of making them look like fashion victims.

Bakugo. He's cliche and annoying af, if it wasn't for his character design nobody would be fawning over him.

Poor Jisoo, I wish she would've been given thicker heels. I get the maknaes are tall but she and Jennie look uncomfortable dancing in stilettos.
-
IMO all the 4 girls are pretty close in popularity even with Jennie and Lisa being the obvious frontrunners. It's just that Rose's fans seems to be the least vocal out of the bunch.
-
About promotions and shedules, they will happen when YG feels like it. We have to understand this guy constantly feels validated about not giving many shedules to his groups because it almost never affects their success on the charts (Blackpink themselves being the perfect example) so he will never push them as hard as other companies push their girl groups. We won't see them as much as we see Twice, Red Velvet, Gfriend and the sooner this is understood and accepted, the better. It is important though for the fans to be vocal about it so they at least can get invited to TV shows and for the members to use the opportunities they are given the best way as possible to make connections, which is something Winner did and it worked. Also, with 4 out of 5 BigBang members enlisted we will probably see them much more than we would be seeing in a normal situation.

Just saw this and I thought it was really nice: Click here to view the Tweet Usuallly you see celebrities talking about unhealthy diets or saying they eat like crazy when it's clearly a lie so I thought their answers were positive and realistic at the same time

I don't think it's that simple tbh. Winner was MIA for a long time and I remember there was a time they wouldn't do V lives very often during one of their hiatus. IMO YG doesn't give the girls freedom to post things or share content with the fans as they want. The same goes to Ikon and Winner but to a lesser extent because they debuted earlier. Proof of that is that only Winner members have individual public instagram accounts so far.

The most charming member of Black Pink
sinnfb replied to ☾vroomvroomilikethat★'s topic in Random
It's funny but even though Lisa and Jennie have better stage presence than her, she's always the one I notice the most. She reminds me of Krystal in the sense both have a certain thing about them that grabs your attention even though they aren't the most expressive on stage.- 36 replies

About the outfits, I thought they were fine but too simple (and too short) for a performance. We've seen the girls with better and more stylish clothes on music show performances. Tbh, it looked like outfits they could wear to the airport or in their daily life, especially Jisoo's and Rosé's dresses.

I totally get where you are coming from but IMO it's a situation that has more pros than cons. The Winner members are busier than they've ever been but they aren't half as overworked as some of the groups who attend ISAC. ISAC is bad for the groups who have super tight schedules since it's one more thing that can lead them to exhaustion but thankfully Winner isn't one of those cases. I think it's going to be fun for the interactions and I'm sure they are going to make the most out of it.
