I know Gyuri said she was asked to get Rhinoplasty. Many speculate it was when she was going to be with SM but no confirmation thus far. In terms of how they feel about getting PS or being natural....I think that any one arrogant enough to want to audition to be an idol and become famous is pretty self-confident in their looks and abilities. Maybe they start feeling insecure when they see the company competition, but overall, they know where they stand. I think they might be insecure around other idols but not overall. The ones who don't need surgery probably feel an even greater arrogance or confidence about their looks, like "sure, X idol might get praised more for her looks, but she's 70% plastic...people praise my looks too and I'm 100% natural." I think even the ones that do receive a total makeover get so caught up in their own hype that their PS barely registers to them anymore. They might have felt bad once they were told by the company they should get something done, but once they have their new face, you can't tell them anything. They are beautiful NOW and that's all that matters. So yeah, it might be awkward when someone who has definitely had PS is getting praised for their looks and still shilling some BS about being natural but I think more than anything, resentment and jealously would arise.

Well the danger with fat-graft over time is the same with botox...worse skin than what you started with. Fat-graft has the posibility of leading to sagging skin in the future because you're literally stretching your skin with the fat in order to "fill out" areas that would be gaunt or not stretch otherwise. It's like when fat people lose weight and some have sagging or loose skin. Even with Fat-graft, it's important to get it done right the first time. Getting mutliple fat grafting isn't good for the skin. Up to 70% of the fat will reabsorb which helps with skin elasticity but when people keep going back for more over time...just not a good idea. i don't know if there is a video avialable but mainly you suction fat from other areas, and inject it using a syringe/needle into the face after filtering the fat so that only the best quality remains. Normally the injection points are near the eyebrows, mouth corners and such for full face fat grafting.

Well being asked to undergo multiple rhinoplasties and lip reductions while also being considered the "ugliest" member by the Korean public does little for the self-esteem..... Personally I don't find Hyoyeon to be pretty by MY standards but she should be able to appreciate her own beauty. I find lots of idols really average look tbh...like I'm not gung-ho over Suzy's looks or Yoona's looks either but I can see why people think they are attractive in a normal, everyday girl kind of way, especially in Korea. The problem with all the botox and fillers is that your skin becomes dependent on them to help with collagen retention and elasticity. When you take the power away from your skins natural biology, it ruins how things work naturally. I don't think she'll be able to just "stop" getting botox and fillers. Depending on how much she's done she might look way worse letting the fillers dissolve completely than if she just paces her touch-ups better.

Why would they "know" the surgeon nor the hospital staff is allowed to disclose that type of information unless authorized? Look, I think you're taking this way too seriously. All I'm saying is that baby fat doesn't change much about your face. Trust me, you look like you from the day you were born until the day you pass barring any significant unfortunate events OR surgical interventions. when you lose weight or baby fat, your face gets slimmer and your cheekbones get more pronounced, your jawline is also more visible -- that's about the extent of babyfat and it's effect on the face. It's not changing you from a wholly average Korean girl to Song Hye Kyo.... that's not how baby fat works. Ages 16-21 much facial development doesn't happen outside of losing baby fat. Your nose bridge doesn't grow, your nasal tip doesn't get refiend and your face doesn't go from square shaped to v-shaped, it's more-so body development which we saw....she gained weight as her metabloism started to slow down but she probably fixed her diet so now she's slim again. Surgeon's on those shows are PAID....they have no incentive to tell the truth when they are being paid to lie. Many surgeons say SNSD is natural but you can plainly see the changes they've made to their looks overtime. Kang Jiyoung is a perfect example of natural development. We saw that she did lose some baby fat as she aged and we saw her face get slimmer as she started to diet to fit the "idol" aesthetic, we didn't see her nose become refined or her fave become more v-shaped. Jiyoung looks like jiyoung from her childhood pics till now, no changes with and without baby fat. Again, I don't know many people who think Suzy got work done but that age old excuse of "lost weight/grew up" is complete BS. How come this only seems to happen to idols?!

Not many people have said that Suzy got work done..... Anyways who really believes this nonsense that features you never had just suddenly appear out of no where....no matter how much fans try to claim other wise, loosing weight doesn't give you a more refined nose, deeper lid crease or bigger eyes nor does it give you v-line shaped jaw when you are naturally a square jawed person. Most idols have max 10-20 pounds to lose anyways... it's not that big of a difference facially, in terms of body inches, sure, but 10-20 lbs isn't going to give you a complete 180. Leave that to the surgeon's knife.

Yeah you use the cartilage after you remove the excess fat. You can use cartilage from the ear or you can do an implant like L shaped or I shaped implant with silicone or goretex or even silitex though it's mainly used for bridge work. In terms of moving the nose such as making pig nose....well I've seen people with Rhinoplasty do it so...I'm not sure it's 100% method of determining. I know people who have gone to very good surgeons who can make pig nose after rhino....really just depends on if you want a basic rhino or the works.

yeah in the tip, if it's bulbous, there is probably a bit of fat that can be removed to slim it down. That's called "tip-plasty.

I don't think that's a forehead implant, it's simply the slightly protruding forehead bone it's emphasized by the space between his brow bone and forehead bone. Yeah looks like minor tip-plasty to remove some of the bulbousness; her columella is slimmer and she has more nostril now. Seems like she got it before "Step" or Pandora...one of those promotions; I can't tell because she does contour well.

looks like a fat graft. It's easier to do, recovery time is literally like 24 hours. It also gives (IMO) better results and won't show over time. If she needs more volume, just get another graft. You normally only need one touchup after the first 3-6 months or so until after a few years. ------------------------------ Despite what people think, companies are not spending $100K on each idol for PS. You have to be someone who they think that MINOR tweaks will garner BIG results. If they have to give you a new face, it's just not going to work, I don't think any company values talent over looks to that extent where they would be willing to pay for it. Nose job, eyelids, fat-graft, trainer for weight loss, l'oreal #700 or #556 and a professional makeup artist is basically the extent they are willing to pay for most times. But if you reallllyyy need it, they might shell out for mandible-reduction/v-line but it seriously better be the only thing you need. I think the post-debut surgeries are decisions that idols make upon themselves because they aren't happy with the results/still not popular for their looks or feel like looks are holding them back. Especially for the new groups, it cost more to upkeep idols than what they bring in so I'm sure the company isn't trying to spend so much on PS.

Those super pointy chin is normally the result of PS. Either too extreme Mandible reduction/V-line surgery or chin implant. Some people do have a naturally pointy chin makes me think of like Melanie Iglesias who has a naturally pointy chin but it still looks way more natural than the pointy chins idols have after ps. Losing weight will help define your jawline but it won't give you a pointy chin.

Yeah but even before she gained weight during Kissing You era, she was really skinny with a prominent jaw that she hid with careful hairstyling, this is starting from her trainee days. Every hair-style she had was to distract from her masculine jawline. It's nothing to do with weight loss at all. She started to slim down which made her jaw even more prominent so she likely got the box shots along the mandible to reduce it. Jessica and Krystal also have different noses. Jessica had a "hooked" nose while Krystal had a relatively straight nose. Jessica cares less about her jaw now since she got it fixed and also got the fat grafting to her face, I think she's way more confiden in her looks now. Yoona's nose is more than likely tip-plasty as she had a very bulbous tip pre-debut. That HS pic they throw around was taken after her PS and after she appeared in the Suju MV. Sooyoung def did something with her jaw and nose and Seohyun...I think it's too much botox.

I agree, try fillers first. Goo Hara used fillers for her nose and then got (an obvious) rhinoplasty. She overdid it because how her nosed look with the filler is better than how her nose looks now.... Also, for people considering Rhino, don't just look at Korean stars, lots of Chinese and Japanese stars how nice (more real looking) rhinoplasties that you can bring to the clinic. Again be realistic about the starting point of your nose and how you want it to look in the end. It's hard to bring a very wide/flat nose with no bridge to Han Ga In/Angelababy level. Anyways, I heard TRM fraxel laser at Chungdam U is popular for skincare amongst idols and ulzzangs. There is also a popular clinic in Korea that starts with an M...I forget the entire name but it's really popular for skincare.

Depends on who you go to and implant material. You can do rib, silicone, goretex. For Han Ga In it's better to be realistic, she has a very high nose bridge and refined tip but it matches well with her other facial features. It might be too extreme and unattainable if you are lacking a bridge or have a very wide and flat nose naturally. If you have a bridge and maybe a bulbous tip, I say it can be done with some wiggle room. Anyways, anywhere between 4500-7000 I would say is reasonable unless you get package surgery deal which will bring the price down. to maybe between 3500-5500

Jiyoung's photobook is normal in Japan. Watanabe Mayu has a similar photobook when she is around 17ish I think. It's a really popular way to boost public notice of you in Japan. Only if done tastefully though, I think Jing's is tasteful and lots of her fans will buy it. Gravure is really popular in Japan so if Jing wants to work there she'll have to do it too. Most of the popular magazines are gravure one's. Even An-An is gravure.

It looks like an L shaped silicone implant from that angle but it could also be strong contouring. I think it's hard to tell with Sunny because he nose has a very "rigid" shape; she doesn't have a nose that you can just change and no-one notice. She's not old at all, but even SNSD themselves has said no one wants to hear girls in their mid 20's singing cutesy songs like Gee. They themselves don't want to do it. I think SM just wants Seohyun to stay looking relatively young to help combat the idea that SNSD is old. They aren't old, they've just been around for a bit. But you know how it is, when we see people for years and years, we think they are much older than what they really are. Even if Irene is older, she has a younger feeling because of the image of RV and the fact that they've not been promoting for even a year. She's "fresh" no matter her age. You see what I'm saying?

For Seohyun it's probably more about maintaing the "youthful" image a the "maknae". As they collectively grow older, the visual difference in age will be less obvious. While they all still look relatively young, Seohyun, because of all the fat in her face (specifically in the cheeks) has historically looked the youngest (cause she is). I think to help with the appearance of an "aging" girl group (because that's not "cute" and "cute" is how SNSD got popular). SM tried to have the youngest look "young" for as long as possible with the use of botox/fat-grafting.

....Hyoyeon has had about 3 rhino's, a lip reduction/reshaping, eyes done and massive weightloss...her eyebrows are the least of her worries and actually the one thing she seems reluctant to change even though the shape does absolutely nothing for her face... Seohyun's face was actually slimmer then, when she weighed MORE compared to how puffy and bloated her face is. You can see more definition in her cheekbone area then, than you can see now... I think it's because her face doesn't move that much. Like, even when she talks, the only thing that moves, is her mouth but her face looks so slack and puffy at the same time...like her skin should be moving...it's really weird.

Her face always looks strange, I swear this girl is botoxed/fat-grafted to high heavens. IDK what she does to her face but it's tight and slack at the same time...so weird. She's going to age so bad if she keeps this up.
