This is very random, but I am just noticing how Mark is so often front & or center when the song ends. Chewing Gum, MFAL, We Young (had last line and is in the front), Boss, Cherry Bomb, Limitless (center/front choreo) and he and TY are front for Firetruck's ending.  The only exception among the songs he's in (as we can't count "Without U" or sm station songs) is The 7th Sense, and non title tracks 0 Mile, Good Thing, Summer 127, Once Again (the latter of which, after rewatching lives of, I realize I absolutely cannot stand ) Also, his "Don't you know I'm a" in "Boss" gets stuck in your head. His voice sounded really good there. Not sure if the M in SM really stands for Mark these days   but I see nothing but a bright future at SM for Mark.

Edit because he looks so thin these days. I hope he eats well. Doyoung should keep the promise he made to Mark's mom well. 3 meals a day, and good ones at that.

Yeah the choreography is always slightly centered around he and Taeyong IMO. If he's not directly in the center he's right next to center or in a very visible spot at the front.  Like in Limitless he's got the most center time but he's also pretty much in the front the whole time too even when he's not the center. I notice SM sometimes likes to make up for his lack of lines by giving him more center. I don't think they like it when there is too big a discrepancy with him and Taeyong in terms of visibility. Marks a great dancer though so I feel it's appropriate. I noticed him cause he's always at the front LOL. He's a cutie. 

I noticed that he also closes all of the NCT yearbooks. 

I loved his little dance break at the end in boss. 

Also, hi. New here..always like NCT since 7S but and loved Mark in NCT Dream and NCT127 too so he's my bias.

These Philippine fan accounts of Chanyeol got me shook. HOW is it that he's more perfect in person. I know you all explained it...but I'm still shook. I gotta get to Korea and hang around the Nike store or something. I'm bound to see him there right?

tbh its true that his facial features are a bit difficult to properly capture on camera hence why chanyeol irl >>>>>> than his photos and the photos captured can turn out a bit awkward at times, even though his photos are still beautiful

 

and it's true that he has a really small face (in a good way!!) when you see him in person that you might not expect when you've only seen him in pictures beforehand...his facial features are soft but defined at the same time and not as rounded as it often comes out like in photos

WOW. That's too much, I can't even imagine seeing him in the flesh. I stalk channetz and always see those types of posts but it seems unfair that he's so good-looking. It's just not right.

I keep reading that his looks are AMAZING in person and his pics do him no justice but I think he's like the most handsome guy every just from the pics. I hear most of EXO photographs how they look except him, how is it possible! Someone please describe this to those of us who will likely never see him up-close. He's got round but defined features which I imagine is hard to capture in still frame but I'm legit shook that everyone is saying his own pictures anti-him. HOWWWWWW?????

Hoping the something comes out of the Chanyeol X Punch OST collab and that SM capitalizes on his extreme Chinese popularity and helps to keep promoting him in S. Korea in 2017.  He's almost got the "Prince" title. He just needs a bit more recognition.

He's globally attractive, which always helps; some of my friends who are typically uninterested in asian men when they see him will say "...but that one (Chanyeol) is cute/good-looking/handsome..."

I don't see him not having a solo career long-term. Especially one his face starts maturing a bit more, he's beyond fit to be an actor.

I hope Hyunjoo feels better soon. One thing about these videos is that I notice she doesn't speak much in them.

I feel like they look a bit old but i could be wrong...the problem with DSP is they tend to debut boy groups too late in age and before you know it, it's time for them to serve. Hopefully everyone is still rather young.

WOW! They are doing super well this time! The fansigns should hopefully push them towards (or even beyond) 3,000! So happy for them! 

During the comeback showcase when Hyunjoo cried, I can understand why she did so. However, when Naeun cried, that was out of my expectation. The girls are very young and they've probably been shouldering too much pressure in preparation for the comeback. Although they smile in front of people, you can't really tell how much they pressure they are enduring .

 

Promoting as a 4-member group will create additional burden for them as the choreography and singing need to be adjusted.

 

Why is life so hard for our babies...

These girls are such troopers! Coming from a company like DSP, you know it can work out, DSP's record is 2/3 thus far, but you won't have the instant fame like you would coming from another, bigger, company so you have to work harder. Also, the company has to be understanding that the girls won't just, BOOM, shoot to fame and hopefully they won't give up on April, but I'm sure the girls are very aware that right now, it probably cost to promote as April than they generate in revenue...

But, DSP seems really invested in APRIL! More so than any other group thus far outside of FinKL and KARA

With new fansigns and continued promotions, APRIL are definitely going to reach 4k and hopefully 5k!

This is really good for them! DSP will probably prepare a good stage for dream concert and then go into PR mode before the next release so they get more general public sales since the fanbase is getting pretty solid it seems like. Hopefully DSPs sees April making some headway and doesn't give up on them! 

April and DSPs hard work is slowly but surely paying off! 

hyunjoo`s health keeps bothering me i dont know when i saw one of the videos when hyunjoo shed tears i think its also related to her sickness hopefully its not worst if its true its related to her harsh diet i will personally suggest her to stop it 

 

i dont care if hyunjoo is the chubbiest member of april as what other people say as long as she is healthy and energetic i will not lose my fandom for her

I hope she takes care of herself, it seems DSP is willing to let her get the rest she needs which is good. Even if she's the chubbiest member in April, I always thought it's cute...she's not fat and she's not that much bigger than the other girls so I hope it's not her diet that's making her sick. She really doesn't need to diet when they will be practicing and performing so much. 

Whatever it is, I hope she gets well soon!

Not bad considering no fansigns. I think it is time they get tons of fansigns this week

This is pretty good for them right? I think it's their largest opening week number thus far. 

I'm wondering about something: why is it that every group/artist can only perform one title track on music shows during one period of time? Yeah they have special stages where they can perform another song, but that's only during comeback week or special episodes.

 

What i'm thinking about is, while promoting an album like Spring, why couldn't they perform Tinkerbell on some shows, Jelly on others, and MFBF or another track on yet other shows? That way, it'll be 10000x more exciting for the fans since we won't know which song the girls will perform that day, and it won't get repetitive so quickly, plus they can showcase different charms and prove they're not a one-dimensional group.

 

Do you guys know if there's some rule preventing this? If not, do you think it would be a great idea if some company tried doing it? Or do you think it'd backfire, confuse the public, and reduce attention for their album? 

I think for the general public, it's better to promote one thing at a time. If they promote too many things at once, they can't be sure which concept is most suitable. With the method of promoting one song, seeing how it does and then seeing the reaction, for the next song promotion, they can adjust to suit those needs.  I also think it will confuse the fanbase because then there isn't just ONE song for them to focus on. trying to vote for two and three different songs on music shows will be too difficult and different people have different taste so that might lower the overall votes. But other than that, it's not a bad strategy at all. 

The strategy you're talking about works in places like the USA. People like Beyonce promotes many songs off of one album or Rihanna promotes many songs off of one album but they still do it one at a time. 

Regarding fansigns, take note that based on some news, Lee Hoyeon might be back, so it's possible that they are doing things differently, going back to their old, or trying out new strategies.

 

Maybe they are measuring sales and stuff...it may even be possible that they will do the fansigns/fanmeets later to sustain sales and prolong the album's shelf life. 

 I agree with this. I think seeing how April do on the charts with just public interest alone and then coming up with a fan-sign strategy is  a good idea. The fan-signs being later in the promotions can help april to keep charting for a longer period of time.  Right now, I still think DSP is working on building up APRILs core fanbase and getting more known, not so much on winning music shows. I hear they are doing pretty well but of course there is always room to improve.

I just realized that the stylist for April loves those kind of uniform style skirts. I think since Muah, April have always had an outfit with that type of skirt. It's cute. 

I was so excited watching them dance to jelly but the cameraman was all over the place...

And the stage for Tinkerbell was GORGEOUS! I don't know if DSP sets it up or TheShow sets it up but someone really went all out and the camera work was so sloppy. it was all over the place for both. Pretty sure we saw the bank of JInsol's head for a good 3 seconds at one point.

Me too LOL.I really wanted to post those Hyunjoo things in her thread rather than seem like I'm bragging about her popularity in the group thread. 

I really doubt she will get to eat the caek though. Right now, Hyunjoo is the chubbiest in April (I think it's cute) but she already mentioned dieting before and she talked about how she struggled with her eating habits and I'm sure she has some pressures not to gain more weight.  On Daily April, I saw she was excited to drink the juice after they had only the salad and strawberries for dinner.
