[NB] Recalled' movie director defends Seo Yeji and blames Kim Jung Hyun
Seulo replied to Youahaen's topic in Netizen Nation
But the movie was well received despite her being a part of the project.... But this only works in a place where Mental health and male abuse victims are taken seriously. None of the works with netizen comments because they don't. All of the vitriol he's received has been as a perpetrator (against Seohyun and staff) and any mention of him being a victim of abuse on their end is met with backlash. It's always he's too weak or he's equally as bad as Seo Yeji despite the proof of her being a repeat offender. Wanting to hold him accountable is perfectly fine because being a victim does not excuse becoming a perpetrator it only explains the reasoning behind it. My problem is that far too many people are going past accountability and straight up verbally abusing him. -

[NB] 'Recalled' movie starring Seo Yeji earns positive reviews
Seulo replied to Youahaen's topic in Netizen Nation
Spill Edit: Being a shitty person does not take away from her skill but people can decide whether or no they want to continue to support her. I just hope the same people offering her sympathy are extending the same to KJH as a victim of her abuse -
Did Jieqiong/Kyulkyung/Pinky blow her shot?
Seulo replied to KentasGlittery EyeMakeup's topic in Random
Yes she did. Rumors are rumors but she certainly didn't help the situation with her behavior towards Zhao Liying during a (staff dinner?). The mess during Legend of Fei and pissing off a respected actress and her fanbase was honestly the dumbest thing she could do. She has no one to blame but herself. Unfortunately sponsors are not uncommon in the entertainment industry but most people have enough sense to try and hide it or at the very least work hard enough to make up for sliding through with connections. -

[NB] SM and Victoria part ways after her contract expires
Seulo replied to Mami3chan's topic in Netizen Nation
As long as Korean companies can keep making money with Chinese idols and Chinese fan support, they will continue to debut Chinese idols. The current model of of the K-industry is not self sustaining which is why these entertainment companies continue to vie for outside support (first it was Japan, then China now they're aiming for the West). -
