    Im soo confused..who?

She was in SM Rookies and people believed she is going to debut as SM's new girl group's (aespa's) center/visual. At some point, people were calling SM's new girl group Lami's group. She was SM's most popular female trainee and everybody was sure she is going to debut and get very big, she had a big following even as a trainee. But she left SM for unknown reasons (people were speculating she left because SM continued to postpone her debut; she was a trainee for a long time), so she ended up not debuting in aespa (none of the other SM Rookie girls that Lami trained with and were expected to debut as SM's new girl group actually made it to aespa, except of Ning Ning).

Apparently Lami is back to SM, using her real name and going for acting.

    Is not her armpit??

    WTF

    Who's picture is it??

It's Chaewon. But the scar isn't inside the armpit, it's near it.

This is a screenshot taken from the video linked in the article. You can see how the breast augumentation scar is inside the armpit in the photo on the left, while Chaewon's scar isn't directly in the armpit, as it should be, it's near it.

  3. I went on the first vacation with my boyfriend, we visited some places that I was always curious to see, but I never had the courage to and the right people to visit with. Although my boyfriend and I started to date in 2020, this year was actually the most important to solidify our relationship. We match, we are feeling great together and I had a very happy year near him so far. My relationship is definetly the highlight of the year for me!

I also started to write my thesis this summer since I will graduate next year. I am feeling proud of my work so far, hopefully the prof will agree with me. My studies went pretty well too.

Overall, it was a great year for me! I am anxious about the next year when big changes will happen in my life because of the graduation, but so far, I am enjoying what God blessed me with!

  4. I love both! Fairy Oh My Girl is the best!

I prefer Secret Garden just a little bit more. I like the meaning of the lyrics more and the fact that it gave OMG their first win is forever going to be iconic.

  5. Watching her dance the new Pretty Savage choreography in the show, I believe Chaeyeon does a good job at dancing to choreographed dances and she doesn't stand out in a bad way at all.

The big problem with Chaeyeon is that she has no real experience with choreographing and this obviously affects her ability to freestyle too. Both choreographying and freestyling were big parts of the show and she is a complete newbie compared to others. This paired up with her young age and spending most of her time as a dancer with idol training and activites, it's obvious why she is the weakling of the show.

At first I was excited to see her in the show thinking that it's going to be some kind of Hit The Stage with dancing crews. Only after I understood what this show is about and what it aims to be, I realized why it was such a bad idea. Chaeyeon doesn't have the skills, the experience and the attitude to be on this show. At least Jimin had the attitude when she went to Unpretty Rapstar, but Chae is a softie, so they can't help but pity edit her and as you guys said, it's only causing bad publicity so far.

I hope that this isn't going to tanish her image as a dancer too much. I am sure that any top dancer of 3/4th generation would have struggled if they joined. Chaeyeon remains one of the best kpop has and she is only 21. She is passionate about dancing and she has the ambition to learn more. I hope she gains more experience and redebuts successfully, be it a solo or a group.

Chaeyeon has been dancing pretty much all her life so Idk what her being an idol makes any difference from the other dancers routine.

There is a difference. First of all, most of the women in the show are older than her, even 10 years older than her. Imagine how much experience you can gain in 10 years.

Then, Chaeyeon did dance her whole life, but on her path of becoming an idol she also had singing classes (she is a decent vocalist), language classes (she is the best Japanese speaker in IZ*ONE, so it's obvious some time was spent on that too), learning idol conduite. Once she was on path to debut, she mostly focused on idol choreographies, which aren't exactly very challenging. So she stagnated for a few good years. The women in the show focused entirely on dancing, they are always in the dance room, learning new things, choreographing.

It's expected they are better than Chaeyeon. Chaeyeon would have easily been the best dancer in an idol competition. She is a good dancer out of idol-dom as well, but not on professional dancer level yet.

When the professional dancers talked about idols being different, I didn't find it rude. It's obviously they are different and it's nothing wrong with that. It shouldn't have been a big deal to begin with, but you know MNET.

I'd say Chaeyeon was misplaced in this show, she isn't yet able to compete with them. But I find it admirable that she wanted to be there to challenge herself. Hopefully, this won't crash her confidence and it will end up being a positive experience for her when she learns new things and makes some connections.

  7. I am happy for Chaewon if this is true. Woollim didn't let her join Rocket Punch and the chances for a solo become even thinner after Eunbi had her own. She was stuck and it would have been a pity for her to stay on the side-lines until Woollim debuted a new girl group or decided to do something with her.

I think it's a good decision for HYBE as well. Chaewon is very pretty, she is lead material in both singing and dancing, she is charismatic on stage and her fandom is on a steady growth since Fiesta era. She is one of the most popular IZ*ONE members in Japan too.

I hope she and her group do well in the future!

The only time it ever really bothered me was Red Velvet's "Rookie" - where every time "Rookie" was sung it was "Lookie" - for no reason. The song was composed almost entirely by non-Koreans (Europeans mostly) with the lyrics in Korean but something tells me it was originally English. Yet they would promote the song by saying the title correctly. I really wonder what Wendy (who has always been careful to enunciate her English perfectly) thought when SM told her to say the word "Rookie" as "Lookie" over and over again. It also kinda plays into the stereotype that some Asians can't pronounce their "R's" and make them into "L's. Something that doesn't apply to a group whose name literally begins with an English "R" and whose previous single was called (and sung as ) "Russian Roulette" (not "Lussian Loulette").

    https://youtu.be/4-5ax7uBEUc

I believe they chose to sing Lookie instead of Rookie because it rolls better on the tongue. The 'R' sounds rougher, 'L' is more musical and fit for the fast talking chorus. That's how I see it.

  9. There are so many! It's so hard to choose just one.

I love Better Babe, Blue, Four Seasons, Stress, Time spent walking on memories, I'm Ok, Gemini, My tradegy, 11:11 is my ringtone, there are too many.

  10. I am happy for Eunbi. She has what it takes to go solo: very good dancing skills, solid vocals with pleasant tone and stage charisma.

I see her in Sistar kind of songs. Sistar had these two sides: classy sexy and sexy cute summer queens. I totally see Eunbi pulling off songs like Give it to Me and Touch My Body alike. She has the aura for these kind of songs.

  11. Yeri might not have added much to Red Velvet in terms of talent, but I believe the group really needed Yeri's youthful and fresh vibes for their Red side. Also, she is really fun in variety together with Joy.

Yeri grew on me over the years. She is only an ok performer, but I find that she is an endearing person when you see how much SM seniors cherish her and how caring they are towards her. She isn't problematic, she didn't bring down the group in any way, she is just a young girl who chased her dreams and who went through the ups and downs of idol life. Nobody says we should love her, but she doesn't deserve hate.

  12. For some reason, I don't really like Cold City girl visuals. I mean, I aknowlage their beauty, but they look too unapproachable for me to want to look at them for too long.

The model/doll beauties are generally the prettiest, but a bit too perfect.

I believe the majestic/elegant types are my favorites in terms of visuals. They are a bit cold, but not very cold and they are interesting to look at.

In the end, I always end up loving the fresh and girl next door types the most. Maybe because I believe I am a fresh type myself. They might not be the prettiest bunch, but they give off good vibes and positive energy.

  13. If there is something I learnt from Sulli's case, it's that people are suffering more behind closed doors than we imagined and putting extra pressure on them with our comments might end up in a tragedy.

Looking at Mina, Sulli was actually tame. She would post weird stuff from time to time (which I sometimes judged), but she didn't harm anyone in the way.

Mina, on the other hand, I don't doubt that she had it hard in AOA. That doesn't justify her behaviour nowadays though. Cheating is wrong. Also, what use to out that member who was bringing her boyfriend to the dorm? Except some asexual fellas, everybody enjoys sex, it's an understatement. The members were bound to have boyfriends and be sexually active. Even if it was in the dorms, it's not a big deal. It's ugly that Mina outed her like that.

But knowing about her mental problems, we should not leave hate. But not support either. Giving her a break in the first place will help her more mentally, I believe.

  14. At first listen I was disappointed. A bit bland and I found the concept and dance moves to be cringe.

But I was sold at the second listen. The chorus got stucked in my head and I love the quirckiness of the whole thing.

You know, Taeyeon used to hate cute concept with a passion. I guess she would have found it embarrassing to do some of the dance moves here or wear those cute pink outfits back then. But doing this willingly for her solo and seeming to have fun with it, shows to me that she grew as a person and as an artist. She learnt to be more laid back and don't take herself so seriously and that she can please her fans with a lot of faces of herself. Also reading some of her interviews, I am proud of the person that Taeyeon had become through the years.

For me, her My Voice and Purpose albums are peak Taeyeon music. But this is fresh and interesting for her. The lyrics are a whole mood and the chorus gets stuck in your head, I expect the track will receive a lot of love from the general public.

  15. If I were a poor celebrity, as some of you said, then yeah. It's one in a life time opportunity.

If I were a rich celebrity and I would have fanmeets I'd say that only gifts under a certain price are allowed. So in this way, they'd feel fullfiled by giving me cute gifts like flower crowns, silly hats, cute accessories, flowers, plushies, non-conformist gifs like that guy who gave Taeyeon two egg plans, lmao. In this way, fans will be able to get creative with their gifts, have fun with it and feel fulffiled by giving me something afterall.

As for me, being a rich celebrity, I could buy expensive stuff on my own or from my sponsors and I wouldn't feel burdened by fans giving me ridiculously expensive gifts that I don't need. I prefer they spent that money to go to my concert and buy my albums.

  16. Leave the phone on silent somewhere out of sight or use an app that selectively blocks other apps. For example, I use the app called Offtime - it blocks apps that I am tempted to use and their notifications and it leaves important ones like phone calls, texts still going so I don't miss a potential emergency.

Keep a bottle of water near you. Low hydratation decreases concentration among others. I have a 'drink water reminder' on my phone which helps me remember to drink water with a noisy notification that doesn't require me to go on the phone and get tempted to use it.

Not obligatory, but for my own comfort I like to keep lip gloss and hand cream near me and use them at the beginning of the session and then when I feel like it.

Sometimes I meditate 5 minutes before studying so I can get better concentration. It works well, especially if there were feelings accumulated in the morning. I tried to do it for 10 minutes, but sometimes it makes me sleepy, so 5 minutes is the right amount to me.

I try to use Pomodoro method, but it doesn't quite work for me as well as it should all the time. Sometimes I get distracted by my thoughts or by my parents or my mom has prepeared our meal and I stay for a chat, so no way I can keep up with the whole thing. My best advice is to start pomodoros when you are distracted and need motivation. Set realistic expectations, you can start by doing shorter sessions. Do something productive in the breaks (move around, meditate, yoga), don't go on apps that tempt you too much, you're never going to spend only 5 minutes on that.

As for the learning process itself:

    1. It's very important to pay attention in class. To be honest, I can't do this all the time either, especially with online classes, but when the prof is decent enough, paying attention to class is the best thing you can do for your learning process. It's not only that you go through the material with the prof/teacher first hand, profs leave a lot of 'Easter eggs' if you pay attention. A lot of times, they tell you what's important to know, possible (or even sure) exam subjects and it makes the studying process a whole lot easier. If you have recoreded classes, you can come back to them and listen to them attentively, espcially for a hard subject which you don't feel confident about. In high school, 90% of studying was just paying attention in class and doing my homework regularly and that was enough for good results. In Uni it's much harder, but it's still worth it.

    2.  When the studying process starts, I set my mood as I already told you. Then I read a chapter (or a subchapter if the chapter itself is huge) for the first time in a whole to get the overall image. I usually highlight the important stuff on the way. It's said you shouldn't highlight at first read because you get a better image of what's important only after reading it whole, but I generally know what's required of me to know better, so I afford doing this at first try. At second read, I start with smaller parts. I read them again and I write down the important parts from my memory, until I fully memorized it. Doing bullet points and schemes it's making the work easier compared to writing a long text word by word from memory.

    3. When I feel like it, I use another method, I don't write everything until I memorize it. But I take a paper and as I am reading for the second time, I leave questions for myself on that paper, questions that cover the most important topics of the chapter. Then, when I finish the second read, I go back and try to answer the questiones I wrote there, by saying the answer out loud or by writing it down. I leave hints for myself as well - for example - there should be 6 charcateristics for this thing.

    4. After studying the chapter, I move on to others and if the time has mercy on me, it's ideal I give the material one last read before the exam to refresh my memory and resolve the question paper one last time if I made it.

These are my best tips. Studying needs a lot of discipline and stategy, I find. Especially for Uni when the material is huge. It helps to have a balanced life overall, good sleep, a bit of moving around, a nice break from time to time. Nobody has everything together, but we can at least try do our best.

For high school level, paying attention in class and doing homework regularly should be the core of learning. If you aren't doing it now, then start from now on.  It works wonders.

  17. I don't think it's the case as often as stated here.

See, stanning idols from big companies is much easier for plenty of reasons.

First of all, there is the exposure. Most people don't know about nugu groups because they lack exposure. But when a big company debuts a group, everybody starts to talk about it, you give the group a chance by defaut.

Then, it's the content. When the group is from a big company, then it gets quality content (it doesn't mean it's going to be the best song or choreo, but expensive MVs and clothes are a must in big companies nowadays). It gets stable comeback schedule, it gets invited on shows, they have a lot of acitivites to follow.

Then it's the social aspect. When the group is popular, you get to intereact with a lot of fans, get hyped together with them. There will be fast subbed content, fanfiction, fanart to get addicted to.

Also, getting involved into fanwars brings you closer to the group emotionally.

That's why big companies have popular groups and have a lot of stans.

The bragging is a bonus for some, sure. But I think it's only a small part of it.
