  1.   Yes, fansigns started on the 5th but this past weekend was a holiday in many Asian countries so stores might not have reported in full since about Thursday. We will see by the end of tomorrow (as today is also still a part of the holiday).    Also, I think there is a good chance they will do another fansign for version B as it comes in about 4 days.      Jay Park's fans had not loyalty to SJ, so there is no reason for them to concern themselves with SJ's chances at winning.  Besides, SuJu's chances were already quite low considering their digital so it's really not all that devastating or anything.
  2.   What do you mean by 'not doing well'? They've already got 54k in one week and it's a holiday week. Sure, it's less than their first-week sales for 5jib and 6jib but I wouldn't consider 54k poor sales.    Besides, fanmeet sales started on Saturday and weekend sales aren't always reported until Monday (in this case it might even be Tuesday due to the holiday).  People have too high of expectations for them in my opinion 54k in 6 days is considered 'poor'.
  3.   They're keeping them up to date in the comeback thread if you are curious.
  4.   Release date was yesterday and they got like 17K yesterday which is more than their first-day sales for 5jib and 6jib.
  5. Isn't Amber Kuo the one who spoke against movement for same-sex marriage in Taiwan? I used to like her until I found out about that, and now it's hard for me to care about her work or support her.
  6. They should do one of those books like the 'how to draw 22 cats and other animals'. I'd tots buy that xD
  7. I feel like Rain is second only to PSY as far as being recognized in America. To those over 30, Rain probably beats out PSY. It's really not all that surprising to me. Plus, he nominated her, so people probably tweeted her about it and stuff.
  8. I am not saying Luhan looks bad in a suit or anything, but he just doesn't seem to fit in with everyone else on this list.
  9. lol at Yi Fan still having that pull to be used for publicity's sake... that kid is awesome.
  10. Yes~ Actually, I'm rewatching the whole thing with my friend cause I wanted her to see it. It's truly brilliant. Then go watch Stein's Gate, Sword Art Online, and Attack on Titan.
  11. ^^^^^^ I was wondering where this came from and I wasn't hearing more about it from the Chinese side of things. Aren't there rumors that she is already married to someone? Anyway, it's hilarious how all these k-exostans are now using dating secretly against someone. They just argued a month ago that they wouldn't be angry if Baekhyun hadn't boasted so much. Now that they find out Kris was dating someone so secretly (two people actually), he is just as guilty. How does that work? If it's true, go him! She is effing gorgeous, and I'm quite jealous of Wu Yi Fan in this situation. xD If not, K-media needs to stop this shit cause it is getting ridiculous.
  12. Yes! I went~ They did really good. I also have to say that Sunggyu sings much higher live than it sounds over the computer. It still sounded amazing though. They were all on point with both singing and choreography tonight. Very proud of them actually. I swear though... Dongwoo spent like half of their chat session on the floor because he kept laughing at everything. Oh, there was also a moment where Sungyeol and Dongwoo were both heading back to the front of the stage after their last song and then Sungyeol turned around to see the platform in the middle lowering with the other members. He ran to get on it and they all had to yell at Dongwoo. He then ran as well and jumped down into the hole. It was cute~
  13. Cutest thing ever. When Infinite was introducing themselves, Infinite started with "women shi infinite". Then they were supposed to do individual introductions. Sungjong was first. And he said "Women shi Infinite" all by himself and the members died laughing at him. Then, he tried again and said "women shi sungjong". He pretty much said 'we are Sungjong' instead of 'I am Sungjong'. Again, the members died. When I say died, I mean Dongwoo fell on the floor laughing and Sungyeol slapped the poor maknae around a bit. I also have to say that Sungyeol has the prettiest face ever. He looks so beautiful in person. Woohyun was throwing hearts at the audience and he threw one right at me ;; And I'm pretty sure I saw Suju's Donghae slap one of the Infinite members' butts. I think it was Woohyun but I'm not sure cause they were turned around and it was a bit chaotic.
  14. Sword Art Online, Attack on Titans, Death Note, Steins Gate
  15. Yes, but this topic is about whether or not someone has talent, and how successful that makes them. Unless you are implying that hard work is more important than talent... I apologize though because it sure seemed to me that at first you were implying hard work = talent.
  16. talent has nothing to do with working hard --- And yes, Han Geng is talented in dancing. But I'm pretty sure his biggest success in China has come from his acting and investments, not from dancing.
  17. so no info about the taiwan showcase yet? If anyone finds anything out please let me know. I'm kinda pissed that it's on a Tuesday cause I mostly likely won't get to go maybeeeeee
  18. It's a joke and expected of him. And to think that he's actually doing that while 'knowing' that Myungsoo is really gay or something is kinda odd. Yeah, I'll admit Shindong can be a douche, but I highly doubt he would actually want to be in charge of that scandal if it were to break. Yes, it's insensitive but the way I read those comments earlier made it sound like you guys were accusing him of outing Myungsoo and Sungjong as a couple. Anyway, I take back my statement. Do whatever you like. Probs won't be back much in the future considering what this thread has become so do as you please with your shipping and mindless conspiracy theories about Shindong trying to out people purposefully.
  19. Just looked up this Crystal Boys show. Yes, it is a Taiwanese drama. It's based on a novel apparently written by a Taiwanese author. Definitely going to have to check it out now. ---- Can we not with the Shindong bashing in here guys? You're doing this based on complete assumptions (which appear very far-fetched). Like that's cool if you want to ship Myungsoo and Sungjong or whatever but to assume that people are trying to out them maliciously.... Also, I know a lot of people here do not know English all that well, but we can stop referring to people as 'gays' or 'a gay'. I find that ridiculously offensive. Can't we just say gay people or gay guys or people who are gay. Anyway, I've already started seeing people talking about how Heechul is suddenly 'definitely straight' after that first episode of WGM Global aired. It's really weird how everyone can be convinced by a show that has proven to be rather falsified, especially when some of those same fans were the ones that swore up and down he was gay.
  20. I'm just gonna respond to you once more on this topic. That being said, it's not actually anyone's business what a Korean celebrity's sexuality is nor how many people know about said sexuality. I don't mind the light discussions that take place in this thread because I think most people here understand that it doesn't really matter what is said about that celebrity's sexual orientation. Although, I would love to have more visibility among celebrities (in Asia and the West), it's not their obligation to live openly to us (or even to their families and friends. -- More on topic and less of the dramatic stuff... I like the AkMu dude he's freaking adorable and I'm tots getting all sorts of pings.
  21. Yeah but unfortunately life is not actually that simple. I know for a fact that my parents wouldn't be able to accept it. I've seen it first hand with my stepsister. Some people are unfortunately not raised in situations that make living their lives freely very possible. Just, try to keep that in mind before you judge others too harshly. ^^
  22. You have to consider though that a lot of people who do that are still in denial even with themselves when they first get married. No, it isn't right to cheat, but you have to think of what it was like for many of them to have come to terms with this attraction after already starting a family. I'm not excusing the cheating at all. However, I don't think 'stupid' is the right word. For example, let's say Nickhun and Tiffany got married or something. Then one day, Nickhun realizes he's gay. If he still has a public career (somehow), don't you think it would be incredibly hard for him to leave her and live happily out and proud. Besides, a lot of people don't realize that many pockets of society would encourage the closeted individual to just have their 'fun on the side' instead of ruining a perfectly good marriage. In societies where marriage isn't as love-centric, this view is even more prominent.
  23. Was about to post something similar. As already stated by others, I think you're a bit misguided on what marriage actually is and has been. Please try to keep an open mind toward those of us who do not have the freedom to live honestly. When you come from a very religious family, being who you are can be quite difficult. You can't expect everyone to give up their career, their family, and their social status so easily. That sort of courage is hard and sometimes even dangerous. I think that you are trying to imply that you dislike closeted people who marry someone of the opposite sex out of fear right? It's still a bit harsh considering marriage isn't always a choice. However, I think you might have worded your explanation a bit poorly and come off more homophobic than you intended. Anyway, I feel hurt mostly because I am indeed someone that hasn't come out to my family (or most of my friends back in the states for that matter). And I have to admit that the thought of marrying a man to keep my relationship with my family has crossed my mind quite a few times. Imagine for a moment how these celebrities would feel. They'd probably lose their career, their friends, their family, and any sort of face they have in society. Korea is quite homophobic still and it is scary to live openly in a place that won't accept you. I think that's a bit harsh as well. Obviously the poster isn't truly homophobic considering what they've said in the past. I also think calling someone a piece of crap for an ignorant/misguided statement is a bit mean-spirited. This pretty much. Marriage in Asia is way behind in regards to the whole 'marry for love' movement. It's just now starting to become a thing where people are actually allowed to choose who they marry instead of their parents setting them up with someone. Even in the West though, this movement isn't that old.
