  1. Just though I would share this here.

My SO saw Sooyoung in a bookstore the other day with her boyfriend. He isn't usually attracted to Korean women (even though he is Korean) but he said this woman was so gorgeous that he couldn't believe she was a real person even though she was wearing a baseball cap and a t-shirt. He didn't realize who it was until he saw her boyfriend. He said she looks way better in person even though she is already pretty on tv. (But he said her boyfriend looked too skinny and not as handsome lol)

Anyway he isn't really a fan of theirs or anything but he still won't stop talking about it lol

  2. That's insane. Some of my students go to about 4 different cram schools but that's usually it. I'm sure those 11 programs don't just meet once a week either. Poor girl. It's only going to get worse in middle school when her actual school work becomes heavier and then in high school. Her parents need to realize that what they are doing is not helping. As mentioned, they are going to burn her out. She's already burnt out. You can't learn when you're that tired.

  3.

I read a fanaccount posted in the SS6 thread and the girl mentioned that he almost fainted on stage and all the staff members looked really worried about him. He looked tired as hell on both days of the Super Show but didn't want a break because all his dreams are coming true :/

Just to clarify, the part about him not wanting to take a break because of all his dreams coming true was just me assuming. Please don't take as truth.

As for him almost fainting, that is also a guess. It's a pretty good one though as there were about ten staff members crowded around him in the side of the stage fanning him and stuff when he should have been out there for the ment. They were also reapplying make up so it seems that had put something on his face that was probably wet to help him cool down. He did indeed look exhausted though and even told us all on the first night that he was sorry for singing poorly (LIEEES) because he was very tired and not feeling well. He said he was having a hard time with finding energy. Then on the second night, he said he hadn't slept well the night before. He claimed it was because of how pretty ELF were and because of our secret lol. But, I think he was probably practicing for the ridiculous amount of schedules he has.

While I am indeed happy that he is getting another opportunity to do musicals since it seems to be something he is very passionate toward, I honestly wish it weren't so soon. He is ending one musical only to go straight into another. Considering the success of his solo, there is a good chance he will either have a repackage or start working on another album release for the end of next year. He also has SJ-M promotions again soon. On top of all of that, he has Radio Star. This is starting to feel like how tired Leeteuk let himself get back during Mr. Simple promos when they were still doing sukira and had strong heart and other mc and variety gigs. I hope Kyuhyun will take care of himself and not forget his health.

  4. they have their own taiwanese ver released , so that is the reason Korean ver didnt ship to them i think

No. I mean... there is barely any copies of that album. Even when we get a Taiwanese licensed version, they still send plenty of the Korean versions to 5music and 5music barely got any copies this time.

And no other store has any left either. It's pretty much sold out.

  5. This is love and At Gwanghwamun's sales are doing better than i expected

Honestly, This Is Love was barely shipped to Taiwan. Every store I've been to is sold and said they won't be getting any more in. I feel like they didn't make enough or ship enough or something.

  6. If you guys want, I can start the petition on Change.org. It'll take five minutes, but I'm going to need help spreading the word. SNS is not my strong suit.  My proposal is below:

    Title: ELF Support SJ's Happiness

Body: On October 14, S.M. Entertainment stated, "There’s no problem with Super Junior′s future activities. Nothing will change with Sungmin getting married."

The international fellowship of EverLasting Friends demands that S.M. Entertainment honor its public statement and continue promoting Super Junior as originally planned. We support Super Junior's right to fulfilling personal lives. They are individuals before they are idols. No member is to ever be penalized for announcing or celebrating personal milestones, specifically Sungmin. Marriage is not a punishable offense and no request for Sungmin’s removal or demotion is to be taken seriously.

Their happiness is our happiness. Now and forever.

(Open to suggestions, edits, etc. But I think we'd all feel better if we tried something.)

I don't think there is anything irrational about this. I think it is a perfect rebuttal to what K-ELF are doing. I'll sign it as soon as you post it.

Also, I think it would be great if we could find Korean, Chinese, and Japanese translators to help if we can find them.

  7. I wish the boys stop giving the Korean fans and fans in general the power to control them!

I was pissed off at Hae's ig post today when he called them  "always reliable" ..... :donthinkso:

and when Kangin apologized to them at Show Champion

    :>_>:

Yeah... I'm feeling really disappointed in SuJu's lack of reaction thus far. I'm considering just saving my money this Saturday and no going to SS6 this year. I don't really care to give my 'cockroach' money to these guys if they're gonna coddle a bunch of psychotic bullies.

It's one thing for SJ to have been silent all those years ago when they were younger but they are older now and should take responsibility for their fans and protect their members.

  8. What to do then? Is it right for us to leave Suju in case SM asks him to leave? I don't even know what could the members do in that case? Say that they won't leave him and leave SM all together?

Also, Sungmin can say whatever he wants, but since we already know he wanted to stay in the first place, whatever he says later on is lies and BS.  :._.:

Really that's the only thing SuJu could do. I just wouldn't feel comfortable if Sungmin left because of this.

Hopefully it won't come to that though. I just know that the relationship between K-ELF and I-ELF is rather broken right now. I also hope those K-ELF who turned their backs on Sungmin are never forgiven and are known by SuJu for the traitors they are.

  9. I said the same thing at twitter.

If Sungmin follows these fans' wish or the members ask him to leave (Which I highly doubt anyone of the boys would do) , I AM OUT of the fandom and SJ. Not going to support SJ in anyway.

Let's wait for a bit and support in ways we can. It might get a bit calmer in some time. I'm really glad the korean concert is behind them. We just have to make it through the promotions. :chu: But yes, I understand all fans who would leave if Sungmin leaves.. (I think it's not probable for now, but we never know)

My fear is that SM will ask Sungmin to leave and the rest of SuJu will let him. He would probably claim it was because he wanted to live a married life without being an idol and not mean that at all. SuJu needs to say something to these idiots who call themselves fans to be honest.

  10. I swear if Sungmin is forced out and the members do not protect him... I will have to abandon the whole group.

I am not here for cowards that do not stand up to pre-teen girls in order to protect their friends.

K-ELF can go shove it for all I care. In fact, I'm already having a hard time even calling myself an 'ELF' as I want nothing to do with these Korean fans that are acting so psychotic.

The Taiwan SS6 is on November 29 & 30. I have to buy tickets on Saturday and am gonna be pissed if Sungmin isn't there. In fact, I'll get a refund if he drops out because of K-ELF shit.

  11. Hello. First time posting here.

I found this on the comment section of a post on Asian Junkie:

    tumblr_n68i4l38T11qibiyao2_250.gif

The guys are allegedly from Infinite (I don't know who these two are due to the quality of the fan cam)

What kind of behavior is this? I don't necessarily think the guy on the left is gay just based on this instance. What I'm really curious about is what would compel him to slap the other's crotch (assuming it's not just the camera angle playing tricks). I've heard of some guys slapping each other's butts, especially in sports, but slapping someone's crotch? It's probably just fan service but he did it so casually and without hesitation. If I were they guy on the right, I would be very mad (even if it was just fan service).

    That's Sungyeol slapping Woohyun's crotch.

I personally ship the hell out of these two and pray they are rubbing each other's dicks every night. However, this was most likely a combination of fan-service and them just picking on each other. They got into this weird war because Woohyun accidentally unbuttoned Sungyeol's shirt on stage and exposed his nipple (which was then photographed. So, they started slapping asses and crotches and pinching nipples in the performances for that song.

But yeah... this is one of my most favorite moments that I have ever witnessed in K-pop. Also, Woohyun's shoulder was hurt really bad during this performance, so I think Sungyeol took advantage of that and hit him where it hurts. xD

  12. Actually Asian culture in general is homophobic if u want to put it in that way..they teach their children to what to talk abt and not and 85% of them don't know about same gender relationship if u tell them abt it they would look o___O like what are you drunk or animal women with men men with women you need 100 years to explain if they don't read manga or fiction or search on the net they won't know about this thing either.

Asian culture doesn't believe that there are gay ppl in Asia go try to explain to them and see by yourself they are not really that homophobic they just don't or ignore this thing as it isn't excited..they give you dirty looks if you talk about these things it is taboo. ..they believe man x woman no complexity or other options that is it.

That is why these idols are like this u will understand when you visit asain countries such as korea japan. ..etc hope this explains it to you.

Lol have you ever actually lived in Japan or Taiwan? Same-sex relationships are actually more accepted in these two countries than in many parts of the U.S.

Korea however is indeed quite homophobic.

    ---

Korea is homophobic in the literal term. They are afraid of homosexuality.

I don't consider it homophobic for someone to say "No, I'm not gay, I'm straight." I do consider it homophobic for someone to say "I'm not gay, I'm straight. I'm a real man." as they are afraid that being gay makes them less of a man.

I don't like to accuse K-idols of being homophobic as most of them have never said something so straight-forward like that (no pun intended). They usually just make a face and say they are straight or that it's silly to think they'd be into men. I have a hard time getting offended at that as I would make the same face if someone assumed I was straight because of the way I look or dress or talk or dance.

    Are some idols homophobic? probably

Do people change their opinions over time making it silly to assume idols hold the same opinions years later? yes

Can I pinpoint any clearly homophobic idols? no

  13. Honestly, the sole reason I buy albums is to support the artist.  Special packaging doesn't make me want albums, although it does make me feel like the company is making some sort of effort on that end.  Everything can be digitized including photobooks, while physical items take up space and can be damaged.  So I kind of applaud south koreans for not wasting money and shelf-space on this crap, although it's unfortunate that it's still a signifier of some level of success and could be a better way to funnel money towards the artist or at least their company and the industry.

I prefer to buy the physical if I can (though I usually only do it for groups I like because of money reasons). The packaging makes for great decoration and they come with photocards, posters, and photobooks that can also be put on display. I really like the look in my home of having the physical album.

To be honest, it has nothing to do with the CD inside but with the extras that are included.

  14. Is that version A only?

    If so that's really impressive

    Yes, A version only.

B version isn't being released until the 12th.

    ---

I'm curious as to what will happen tomorrow for A sales since B is indeed coming on Friday.  I'm also curious for how B's sales will be.

    -edit-

Also, there is a chance that SS6 in Seoul at the end of the month will also make some sales.
