I know I’ve been listening to these types of songs a lot the past few days! I want them to be trend setters too so going for something less mainstream is better It’s basically F(x) but less experimental.. they can make it work! Rollercoaster is more early 2000s pop but still it’s a bop one of my favorite songs released this year

Electro-pop as a genre is so underrated.. I think JYPNGG could seriously slay with these types of songs.. especially considering Jisu's soulful vocals, Somi's softer vocals and Ryujin's rap tone.. something with a beat drop to incorporate a great choreography too

I don’t think it was an either/or situation.. I think Lily is being considered for a solo and not the group.. I can’t see why JYP wouldn’t add her to the group if she was an option tbh

but WHY?! i don't see a single downside to Lily being in the group .. She's a legit main vocal.. would be one of the top in current girl groups.. and she has the exposure of being a KPOP Star finalist.. like do people think she's too good? or what? I honestly don't get it

Honestly I'm quite surprised at the opposition on DCGall about Lily being in the group.. she's definitely the best singer and is really pretty too.. I wonder what thats all about.. like am i missing something?

I think the fact that neither Eunsoo and Lily were spotted with the girls means they’re both not being considered.. I think if they were they’d be showing up with the rest by now .. I have a feeling OT5 is set..

The articles about her getting casted all stated that she was a JYP trainee .. and she doesn’t have an sns account like the rest of the child actors in JYP sans Sieun.. not to mention the fact that she’s been performing in showcases in the girls team.. her status is the same as all the other girls currently in JYP.. Haewon got a lot of attention actually and if you go on DCGall you will see that she has a lot of posts praising her and wanting her .. which is why I’m so curious about her .. everyone is saying she was a great singer and a good dancer .. where did you get that she’s not good vocally ?

So now that it’s been a week since we saw OT5 together .. what’s the general consensus so far ..

I only brought up Sejeong for P101.. when I talked about Somi’s CFs I was just talking about her popularity growing since then .. I wasn’t trying to compare them now just back in P101.. I’m not following Sejeong at all but I’m sure her popularity grew exponentially too.. I apologize for the misunderstanding lol

You see you tend to generalize their eras .. I thought you were talking about sixteen/debut .. but regardless .. Twice’s popularity is all pretty comparable now with Nayeon/Tzuyu/Sana/Mina/Momo being closer then the rest .. there’s no clear order Like you make it out to be tho And there’s no “Somi issue†.. lol let’s make something VERY clear ! You say Somi could have won.. but she did win.. not only did she win but have like a 300k difference between her and Sejeong .. so I can absolutely say that your statement about her ending up 2nd or 3rd is untrue .. Just look at Somi now .. her CFs alone speak volumes about her massive popularity .. that’s not even mentioning all the varieties and tv appearances she’s made since IOI ended ..

Again.. you are grouping all these different groups into a catagory.. which is wrong to begin with ... Mamamoo is nothing like any of the groups you mentioned .. Miss A barely has anything in common either .. there’s more to KPOP then the 2 tropes you’re going for.. Sana and Mina were definitely not more popular then Tzuyu and Nayeon.. Tzuyu was an absolute wall .. Also you’re seriously downplaying Somi’s popularity ... To a level where I don’t know if you’re being serious or not .. lol

It will happen and it won’t matter in 6 months .. the people disappointed will fade away and the group will gain so many new fans that will make it as if those disappointed people never existed in the first place ..

If OT7 is possible and Lily and Eunsoo aren’t being considered for the next girl group I kinda think Sieun and Yuna S could be amazing additions .. both fit the tall and pretty aesthetic and they both can dance really well.. idk I feel like I built up a big group in my expectations that I think anything less then 7 feels incomplete

DAY6 were spotted together at a 2pm concert before they debuted .. that was actually the first time we saw Dowoon ever... so it really might be legit OT5.. Yeji - Leader/dancer Jisu - Main vocal Somi - Allrounder Chaeryung - Vocal/dancer Ryujin - Rapper/dancer
