I'm praying we get a Miss A Love Again situation where Somi joining the group gets teased at the very end like it did with Min

Somi was not just a trainee she was a signed artist.. her leaving isn't something easy to get over.. I am honestly still distraught about this because I truly did not see it coming at all.. like I saw her as the only truly confirmed member to an extent where I still can't believe she's gone.. I can't move past it.. I have been active on Onehallyu for over 4 years now but ever since Miss A and WGs disbanded my use of this forum has been almost exclusively in this thread.. Somi was a massive reason why i was excited for this group.. and I think we all need more time to "get past this" It was a massive shock on all fronts and I truly wish her the best with her future.. Somi is an incredible girl bursting with talents and charms.. regardless of ya'll liking her or not.. I think we can all admit that this is a huge loss all around.. for the group, for the company, for her and for all of us too..

I am absolutely heartbroken right now.. I feel completely blindsided I did not see that coming at all.. I am just in shock and confused by all this.. wow..... I love Somi so much and I just can't imagine this girl group without her.. and I can't imagine her not being in JYP.. oh my fucking god.. please no.........

I just watched the elimination episode and I'm finally caught up with everything.. I'm still so sad about Jurina leaving.. but maybe its for the best considering the current MNET contract situation.. There are alot of girls I like so far.. but Idk about what I want the line up to look like tbh.. I have 7 girls I know I want for sure.. 1. Lee Chaeyeon - The girl is a serious jack of all trades.. shes an amazing dancer and a solid vocalist .. She's a must 2. Yu Minyoung - I didn't expect to like her this much but she's so charming and a great rapper.. I think she has great stage presence and flow.. she's also really pretty.. I think she could be a fantastic main rapper.. 3. Shitao Miu - Honestly I didn't even notice her until the Peek A Boo performance.. she has the Suzy look .. She's so pretty and elegant I love her already 4. Go Yujin - I personally don't understand why she gets so much hate.. She's a great performer and knows how to work a stage.. I find her confidence to be very attractive.. she's a good rapper and danccr 5. Wang Yiran - She's arguably the prettiest girl on the show.. She definitely stands out on stage.. she looks sort of exotic 6. Jo Yuri - I wasn't a fan of her on Idol School I thought they really overdid the second yoojung media play.. but she's cute and a great vocalist 7. Kim Minju - I thought she was overrated at first but I can't deny that she's a visual.. she won me over in the Very x3 performance I think these 7 really fit the image I want for them.. being a performance based group with a solid foundation in vocals, rap, dance and visuals and they look like a cohesive unit.. idk there are more girls I like and I want to see more from.. Nako is probably in my top 3 overall she's so damn cute and tiny.. Its just a pet peeve for me personally to have members with big height gaps.. idk how to explain it.. seriously it pains me to see Chaeyoung stand next to Tzuyu lmao but for real.. she's currently in my OT12 line up Sakura is also a very easy choice for me.. I was intrigued by her from the beginning but after I saw her Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild and Splatoon 2 gaming videos I became an instant fan.. I hope she pulls through and snatches the top spot again Choi Yena .. She seems like she would be a great personality for the group.. she's pretty and talented too.. I wanna see more of her but she's definitely in my top 12 so far.. Hitomi.. She's so innocent and adorable looking.. I like her alot and can't wait to see more of her.. Asai Nanami.. I find her to be so pretty.. she was awkward in the Black Pink performance but still did well. I hope she gets more screen time Goto Moe she's been an early favorite of mine .. she's cute and had a good edit on the show so far.. I'd be 100% okay with her in the line up.. Huh Yunjin.. another easy pick for my line up.. If it wasn't for her height lol.. Nako is too short and she's too tall! no but for real.. I like that she's hard working .. she's talented too.. Yamada Noe - She's definitely one of a kind.. so far I like her but I can see her getting annoying real fast lol.. An Yujin and Wonyoung - Both are really pretty and charming.. I like them both .. they're easy picks too I'm excited to see more Miru, Juri & Miyu are the 3 I like from the older AKB girls.. Idk if I want them in the group but I'm definitely enjoying them on the show so far Chiyuri is an amazing personality.. her hidden box challenge is by far my favorite.. she's hilarious but idk if I want her in the group tbh.. Gyuri is the victim of Mnet's evil editing this season.. I feel bad.. I like Fromis_9 alot and I hope she gains enough experience and popularity to make it all worth it.. I want her back in the group asap.. OT8 feels incomplete Gaeun .. I'm extremely happy she's doing so well on the show.. I hope she has a future as a soloist post p48 considering After School are dead.. but tbh Idk if I'd put her in my line up.. but she's pretty much guaranteed to make it.. I wish her the best though overall I'm pretty satisfied with the results I'm just disappointed with Hwang Soyeon leaving she's really talented she drew my attention in the Gashina dance in her audition .. I wish she would have made it through at least to the second round..

That wouldn’t even make sense tho.. Stray Kids just had their show on Mnet and they’re not really handing their trainees away.. they’re getting exposure and free promo .. Produce48 is a strong brand now .. I mean look at IOI and wanna One .. both groups shot to the top 3 in their debut

Which is why it would have been great if they sent multiple trainees .. they will be the basis to the group that comes after this group debuts ..

The group has an expiration date tho.. then each member will go back to their original company.. so even if they're competition they'll ultimately become a huge asset later on.. I mean look at Nuest .. they went from being on the brink of disbandment to now being in the top 10 boygroups in KPOP.. even without Minhyun.. now imagine if JYP sent Yuna S, Yuna A, Yunjin, Jiayu Yeonkyung, Haewon and Minji [all known 2003-2004 liners] I think since they're alot of members they'd make it till the voting becomes single vote per member.. thats 7+ episodes of exposure.. they'll definitely get tons of attention being from JYP..

But the bts highlight video had multiple JYP trainees.. Ryujin was the one that gained the most attention .. and JYP going on Mixnine was for YG and not the girls themselves .. like he wasn’t there specifically for Ryujin but for both Sunmin and Ryujin.. Mixnine just tried to mediaplay her Usingg the “Somi effect†And honestly i know as much as the next person and I’d be beyond happy about Lily and Eunsoo joining .. I’ve been talking nonstop about “fantastic 4†since forever lol .. but looking at what we’ve been seeing lately with OT5 idk it feels solid.. besides that Lily can easily debut as a solo and eunsoo is already a promising actress and Yuna could be the next Somi for the next girl group.. so it’s not like if they don’t jointhis group they’re out

Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t The produce48 group promoting for 2 years ?? That’s definitely gonna be enough to be between hiatuses after the final group ddisbands assuming any of the girls make it in the first place .. As for Sunmin Her situation is circumstantial .. The fact that she left has more to do with Mixnine since JYP let go Yejin and Hanseol who were both getting attention from the public.. so it’s not really because she flopped I Mixnine she left .. it’s that and the fact that she didn’t make the final cut for OT5.. As for Yeji I don’t think the Stray Kids appearance is remotely enough to gage her popularity let alone compare it to Somi’s.. like not even Stray Kids Gained anything substantial from the show let’s be real.. and JYP didn’t do much for Ryujin either it was all Mnet and YG trying to milk her to save their show lol.. Are you talking about Eunsoo, Lily and Yuna joining Somi’s group?? Cuz idk I think OT5 is legit

But seeing how well Somi and Ryujin did in these types of shows you’d assume they see the pros outway the cons like seriously.. even in the worst case scenario they’d be gaining tons of experience so it wouldn’t be a waste anyway

Honestly JYP should have sent their younger girls to produce48! Girls that aren’t gonna be in Somi and Ryujin’s group.. like Yuna S, Haewon, Yuna A, Jiayu and Yunjin etc Seriously Starship girls are all so pretty and they’re all 2003-2004 liners

It’s a shame that Mashiro left if it’s legit .. she’s really pretty too ! We could have had a great dance girl group with Mako and Mashiro >_<

I’ve been seeing a lot of predebut pictures of Jisu and she’s so photogenic .. she gives off actress vibes .. man I hope she’s good .. I hope OT5 are good together

Somi is a great dancer too.. she could easily fill the main dancer role she especially shines on stage .. Somi is a major allround idol with insane star potential .. even with 11 members with IOI she stands out to me Chaeyeon slayed in Produce48 she was fantastic and so confident she was ready to snatch

So JYP doesn’t have good vocalists all of a sudden? Lol it must be because she was in SM? Like what?

I really really hope Jisu can dance well.. if she does then this group will be a performance killer.. and to everyone talking about the lack of visuals .. they must be blind.. cuz they're nowhere near being ugly.. and they'll definitely get a major glow up with better styling after they debut

I told myself I wont be watching this season but who was I kidding :'( survival shows are my guilty pleasure lol After watching the first episode I already have a couple of standouts.. Chaeyeon [WM] - I'm so glad she's on the show.. and I'm so proud of how much she improved since SIXTEEN.. her freestyle dance was amazing Jurina - The way she was being portrayed on the show was pretty amazing.. Her aura feels different from the rest of the AKB girls.. she feels like a boss.. I hope she's talented.. I think she might become my number 1 by the end of it.. Kaeun - After School maknae deserves better.. the way After school were treated in general was an injustice.. I wish her the best! Fuck pledis Sakura - I'm excited to see what the hype is all about.. and she's really pretty Seoyoung [Former YG trainee] - Something about her is appealing to me.. she seems determined to make YG regret letting her go lol Gyuri [Fromis_9] - I like Fromise_9 quite a bit and I still don't get why she's on the show to begin with.. I think they should have sent more members with her or none of them.. but regardless I can't wait to see how she does.. I'm not sure I'll root for her to make it in the final line up but I'm anticipating Starship girls - All 3 were promising.. but Wonyoung is so pretty I can't believe she's a 2004 liner! Goto Moe - She's cute Miyu Takeuchi - Great vocalist Hwang Soyeon - Her gashina dance was great HOW Ent girls - they were so entertaining! I can't wait to see more! Yamada Noe - Her segment was really fun.. I like her Alex Christine - I like her from before the show and I hope she gets some screen time before its too late..

Based on past instances they only go to the main building when they’re preparing for debut .. same thing with JJP and Jackson and Mark back in 2013 and the girls for Sixteen and the boys for Stray Kids .. that’s actually how we knew Sunmi was making a solo debut in JYP back in 2013 too
