I gotta say I am just so damn happy about Itzy finally debuting! KPOP really died for me after WGs and Miss A disbanded.. the only thing I still had going for me was TWICE and Sunmi.. I just didn't have anything to be excited about anymore.. I hope they have long and fulfilling careers! and I can't wait for Twice x Itzy interactions!

JYP never really base their comebacks schedules on other groups.. so even if they weren’t touring I don’t think it would have affected Itzy much either way

While I personally think it’s not going to be an issue I understand why some people might be worried about ITZY not having their own task force.. got7 are already pretty busy as a group and with the increase of individual activities and now ITZY getting full attention in debut year it potentially means there’s less focus on each groups etc..

What’s great about JYP girls that they defined their own sound and genres .. WGs owned Retro concepts.. Miss A owned performance based concepts.. Twice literally invented the “Color Pop†genre .. Itzy looks like it’s going to pave their own way with their own spin on performance based group.. I think they’re gonna be whatever 6mix was supposed to pre-twice.. hopefully the next group does something like that too

I have no problem with you disagreeing or not taking my word because In the end of the day we’re all the same .. just fans making assumptions and having discussions .. my issue is with the user with the Ryujin dp even in the Itzy thread they continue to make all these claims that are simply not true .. about Miss A, Wonder Girls, Suzy.. even Twice .. it’s just ridiculous

It seems like there is a misconception here going on that JYP was a failiure before ... y’all are all wrong .. even at their worst they still had 2PM and suzy raking in money they were fine .. Theyre definitely 10x better now but they definitely were not a failiure.. All I’m saying is .. take the “road map†with a grain of salt .. if it happens I’ll be beyond happy .. but being a JYP Stan for almost 10 years I know better by now

There are so many .. Mei, Natty, Eunsuh, Chaeyeon, Hyelim etc.. also JYP said that the girls that didn’t make it in sixteen will be part of the next group planned for 2017.. which we all know didn’t happen either .. look my point is .. Big 3 companies always make these plans just to show for investors .. for the past 9 years of me being a JYP Nation fan it’s always been the case .. I’m not saying it won’t happen .. I’m just saying that it’s too early and nothing is set in stone ..

Trainees are still leaving .. it’s very common with JYP since they always take so many trainees and they can only debut so many ..

Just to keep in mind .. back in 2013 when they merged JYP and AQ ent they had a roadmap for their next groups too.. which didn’t turn out exactly as planned .. We were supposed to get 3 groups in 2014 which were GOT7, 6MIX and 5LIVE.. plans fell through and we got Twice and Day6 a year later

So apparently the Japanese girl group will be formed through an audition show like what they did for Boystory.. I thought they already had the trainees but it seems like that’s not the case..
