I can’t help but think this is a speculation based on previous JYP debuts ... and no official information.. JYP already states that they’re debuting 3 boy groups in 2018 .. Stray Kids, Boystory and another group for China .. and it’s almost a given that a new girl group is coming in 2019.. with Somi and ryujin.. I mean I’ll welcome any type of predebut promotion for the group but I do not think a survival show is the best way for this group in particular

I really liked what SM did for SM rookies.. in the sense of releasing high quality performance videos.. both these videos got 5 million views Judging by the attention Hellevator got for Stray Kids despite it being released before their show began.. I think this could be a great way to unofficially introduce the girls without an actual debut.. JYP has been releasing many MVs lately.. and honestly I think they're the best way to bring in fans .. especially for the first few years..

there is no way the girl group would promote for 2 years.. it just doesn't make sense for YG nor the companies included.. its too big of an investment for a show that underperformed..

Sis I watched Win.. YG continuously said that only 1 team will debut .. and emphasized on the fact that it was all or nothing for both teams .. like wasn’t there even a petition for YG not to disband Team B and debut them as well?

JYP will not start talking about the next girl group because they’re trying to establish Stray Kids as the next big act .. while also maintaining Twice as a nation’s girl group.. while I do understand the sentiment and the concern I think Somi is 1000000% going to debut in the next girl group.. she already has an contract with JYP and is an official artist .. she’s not a trainee .. I don’t know if having a solo or unit is in the cards for her but she definitely deserves it if the opportunity comes up.. Same goes for Ryujin.. it’s nkt like her debuting in MixNine is going to halt/postpone JYPNGG’s debut .. best way to develop is through experience and Ryujin needs the experience on stage .. she’s still a little awkward and having many events will make her feel more comfortable ..

I don't think they will be able to get 2 mini albums in such a short time.. it'll probably be a mini and then a digital single/repack depending on the sales of their debut

The girls on Mixnine had 5 original songs for the show.. I think they could release a mini album with a new title track thats 6 songs right off the bat

I don't know.. in the article it compared the girls' debut to JBJ where they're going to debut due to "fan demand" which we all knew was going to happen since the start.. I think the official debut had the plans set before hand with 7 months promotion.. where as here its a completely new negotiation.. Honestly aside from Ryujin and Park Soomin I'm completely okay with any changes to the final line up because they're the only 2 with no immediate plans to fall back on.. like Loona, Fave Girls, Eyedi, Playback or Bonus Baby..

I'm happy 6/9 are in the final line up but I'm extremely happy mainly these 2 girls are debuting :')
