What’s the general consensus about the pre show lock ins ?? Like shows already really popular ?

Hi yall.. looks like I'm getting sucked into the p101 madness again..

 

I watched the intro videos of each of the contestants and these 7 are the ones that really stood out to me..

 

Seobin - (JYP) probably the biggest reason why I'm watching.. I'm rooting for him

 

2. Minkyu - (Jellyfish) He's a visual and I'm looking forward to seeing more of him

 

 

3. Yohan - (OUI) He's also a visual and seems like a dork.. 

 

4. Steven - (DS) Hes my favorite from the former JYP trainees and I'm curious to know more about him

 

5. Minhee - (Starship) Out of the starship boys he was my favorite.. he's a visual too

 

6. Junhyuk - (DSP) His video was appealing to me and I like his energy.. I'm rooting for him too

 

7. Wonhyuk - (E Ent) Getting a pro soccer player to promote you is huge and interesting.. I'm excited to see what hes got

the YG treasure box boys, DSP's Lee Hwan, Happyface's Hyunsik, Creker's Huijun, Taeeun from Aconic, Source Music's Hyunbin, Lee Sejin, Myteen boys, Up10tion's Wooshin, Viction's Byungchan .. I'm sure it'll all change through out the show.. I'm excited

Ok I reused the template I made for PD48 to make my top 12 (not even sure if it's 12 people yet but oh well). I like doing my pre-show top to see how it changes through the show until I have a final top. I'll put it under a spoiler since it's large

The girl in the middle looks really different in motion compared to the teaser images.. I'm not saying she's not pretty because she's cute.... but in the teasers she looked amazing.. she kinda looked like Solji pre PS

 

 

The Stray Kids comeback this time around feels different.. its like JYP really invested in them .. the teasers so far have been great.. Stray Kids always have solid b sides and i'm glad theyre showcasing their whole album as teasers.. The title track sounds so promising and the choreo looks tough.. I can't wait.. this comeback will be it! I hope they snatch some of the leftover wannables 

After 2.5 years with the mnet group, they can join their own company promos... so id he makes it, then he could debut with JYPE in 2023 (24 years old)

the debut group this season is confirmed to have a 5 year contract .. I wonder why JYP didn't send Gyehun he's pretty much their oldest trainee from the boys and is pretty young.. 

Eunsoo looked so good!! I wish her luck as the new MC! .. Itzy keep getting better and more confident with each performance ...

My favorite is definitely the M countdown performance .. but I loved them all tbh.. they’re all so talented and pretty I love this group

Did Yuna replace Somi?

In a sense yes... rumors were going around that JYPNGG will be 5 members and we started seeing Ryujin, Yeji, Jisu, Chaeryeong and Somi hanging out together... then all of a sudden it was announced that somi left JYP and we still got an OT5 girl group with the current line up.. of Ryujin, Yeji, Jisu, Chaeryeoung and Yuna

Is it too early to ask for a comeback ?!?!? :(

I love Ryujin's fancams...... Her facial expressions are just so eye catching.. its like shes being playful with the camera..

Here’s my idea ...

 

I want them to release a high budget MV out of nowhere with no prior notice .. as a teaser for their comeback.. it should be something very different from what we’ve seen before ... with a strong choreo think of the JYP Nation performance from the Gayos last year.. + the Momo/Chaeyoung/Jiwon performance from Sixteen ..[PINK LAMBORGHINI] Chaeyoung should be the center of the song and have a legit rap verse that doesn’t have to be split with Dahyun.. the line distribution should be very different from what we usually get .. like basically it’s a chance to give the other members more lines and put them in the spotlight because to be honest some of the girls barely get any chances to shine ... which isn’t uncommon with big groups ... they don’t put out any teasers or anything after the MV they go radio silent and 24hours later we get a teaser for their album/promos.. which is 3weeks later .. for the teasers we get pretty much a combination of Like Ooh ahh era and What Is Love.. having individual teasers and unit teasers with 3 members .. and we get a revival of REAL TWICE with 10 episodes .. 1 for each member and 1 for the group it can be anything really..

 

They make their comeback with a full album their title track shouldn’t be a departure from their signature sound but it’s a little more mature/upscaled and they promote for 3 weeks extensively.. both their title track and their pre release.. and an MV with a cliffhanger .. which will lead into their repackage with 4 new songs 6 weeks later which they promote for 2 weeks.. with a brand new title track..

 

This should THEE comeback that will set the stage for their future.. Also JYP should go all out with the mediaplay ..

Let’s play a game... say JYP put you in charge of Twice’s next comeback... you have the opportunity to go all out from early promotions/teasers .. to Title track/concept... producer/composer... MV or double title track... promotion period... repackage etc

I wonder why Ryujin didn't take part in the rapping in the song.. I hope we get a better line distribution in their comeback

judging by the Super Intern episode it seems like Twice are really interested in a concept/image change.. I thnk its time for them to transition into a more mature concept .. It doesn't have to be too different from what they've been doing.. its just going for more grown up concepts..

I can’t believe I missed all this !! I’m so happy and proud of them !! Debuting in the top 10 is not an easy thing to do especially these days .. They really are monster rookies .. I wish they performed full versions of the jyp girls songs!! Especially bggg!! :(

I’m so so soooiol impressed with Yuna .. since she was a last minute addition to the line up I didn’t know what to expect from her but she just blew all of my expectations out of the water ... she’s so charming and charismatic and her smile is everything ! Looks like I’ve got a bias wrecker on my hands...
