Hey Insomnias! I've been a casual fan since their rebranding to DC, and I always thought Minx was above average, if not pretty typical of other gg's. But You and I was the perfect song to push me into obsessive mode lol, so now they've shot all the way to the top of my favorite groups list'!. I have a pop/punk rock background so the hard metal sound is right up my alley, and I absolutely love the darker horror concept and no-nonsense impressive choreo. I wasn't interested in kconLA at all until DC was announced, and I immediately decided that I had to go can anyone recommend me some variety shows they've been on so I can get to know the members better? I've watched their star interviews and the After School Clubs, and that criminally short segment they had on Weekly Idol. Finding it real hard to pick a bias haha, which is pretty unusual for me. But Bingle Bangle is great, especially the chorus. I thought some of the verses were a little sparse, but the chorus and Jimin's rap definitely make up for it. And of course the MV itself is super fun and such high quality and creative. Can't wait to see how they do on music shows!

I think with Sistar disbanded now, you could argue that AOA is indisputably the remaining queens of the summer bop. Hi friends, I'm a new Playback fan, nice to meet y'all! I liked Playback (the song) when they first debuted, but it seems like they hadn't done much after that. And then I heard Want You To Say and was instantly hooked! It's probably one of the best tropical house songs out there. Been hitting the playback heh button so many times. I watched the Pops in Seoul videos, but how do I learn more about them?

I'm not sure if the translation is correct, but I guess it's possible for them to be some sort of panel member or judge. Doubtful though. If I were to hazard a prediction, I'd say it would be one of the AOA Cream girls. I'm not really elitist, but I get why some fans are saying this would degrade the group's reputation vs. boost their popularity a la Nu'est

Most of the comments are about how AOA is definitely not a failed group (which is nice to hear for once), how unfair it would be to the other participants (again, true), and comparison to Nu’est in Produce 101. Others mentioned how since Choa left, AOA is potentially in a bad place, which I don’t agree with. And how it must be kind of insulting for the one girl they send.. which I guess you could look at it that way. From a business standpoint I think it makes sense, as AOA is popular enough to draw in more viewers. Not really sure if the finalists of this show will create a separate group.. if so, that would just further delay an AOA comeback, but maybe FNC is hoping this will help boost AOA’s visibility for the next comeback. Guess we will see

Does anyone know why Hyejeong isn't going to be at the K-Culture Party of EXPO 2017? That's what I heard at least, can't find a lot of sources on it. I figured it might be SNL Korea related, so I was just wondering.

FNC Confirms That Yuna Will Take Choa's Place As Main Vocal In AOA Pretty expected, but I'm happy FNC didn't do something insane and like add a new member to AOA or something. Not that I thought they would, but hey crazier things have happened in kpop lol. Looking forward to hearing Yuna enter the spotlight and hope she gains the recognition she deserves!

Warning: wall of text incoming When I first read the news it was like a weight dropped in my stomach; after seeing so many other girl groups ending this year and Choa’s extended break, my worst fear had finally happened. It breaks my heart to find out that every smile, every dorky Choa moment, could have been causing her pain without us knowing. They say that sometimes those who seem the most cheerful are actually the most broken inside and Choa has been through a lot in her career - failed trainee auditions and AOA struggling with obscurity for their first few years could not have been easy on her, especially as the oldest member. The other members have mentioned that Choa was always careful to monitor her appearance and public image, and that must be exhausting. I think this is a lesson to all of us that celebrity life is undoubtedly not as glamorous as it seems, and can obviously take a huge physical, emotional, and mental toll. I listened to all of AOA’s songs on repeat today, and the lyrics from so many of their songs have deeper meanings now; , , Can’t Sleep, Still Falls the Rain, it was even literally raining here today.. In the end, I’m glad that Choa got to achieve her dream of becoming a popular singer, have a few solo songs/solo AOA concert, and that we’ve had the pleasure of being fans of AOA. One of my life’s greatest regrets will be that I never got to see them perform live in person as 7, but I’m happy to have been able to follow her career from halfway around the world. It kind of sounds like she’s done with public life for now, but maybe someday in the future we will get to hear her beautiful singing again. I’m sure that AOA can survive, but it will never be the same without her. Hope that we Elviss' will continue to support Choa in everything that she does
