^ GAON keeps track of shipments (# of albums sent to stores), not actual sales, so the debut number ends up being more of a representation of how many albums the group are expected to sale rather than actual sales per se. f(x) had rising physical sales until that point so it's normal that people were expecting RL to outsold PT, hence the higher debut number. What worries me is that it hasn't been 1 year since RL has been released and this is already the 4th month where it doesn't make it to the monthly top100.. f(x)'s albums have always been outselling the previous one Chu (this doesn't really count has a physical release but wtv): around 20k total NU ABO: around 40k+ total Pinocchio/Hot Summer: both around 62k+ Electric Shock: around 82k+ Pink Tape: 96k+ RL: 88k+ the fandom was clearly growing steadily until Pink Tape. Now I'm not sure if the sales went down for the reasons I already mentioned or if the fandom's size is starting to decline. We will find out soon enough with the upcoming album. ^ I think so to, especially since there's still an upcoming cb this year and sales always go up during cb month, we will see. I'm worried about RL sales though, especially knowing that there are 2 versions of the album..
