  1. I just don't get it. JUST KISS. I would've enjoyed this more if he was in his buff level like earlier this year, lol. His loss of weight after he started being busy was concerning.
  2. Does anyone ever think that if L wasn't in INFINITE and wasn't an idol, he would still be somehow thrown into the entertainment industry eventually? Like, if I was a manager of an agency, I don't think I would just simply pass by him...
  3. I was hoping they would not impose the basic preschool level kisses of k-dramas (asian dramas in general) on him, but they did. Pecks. PECKS? At least he made it cute enough, but omg what couple together kiss like that all the time? Even Disney does it better and hotter. That is just sad. Get it together dramas and let my boy go free. Otherwise, I want to see the ep :(.
  4. Yeah, these things started coming out after his SNL skit.
  5. Individual bitter stans might hate on him again for that on Twitter, lol.
  6. Disagreements by far. Woohyun got his composition to be in an album, but it took repeated revisions for the CEO to approve of it being in New Challenge. It was more than likely the same thing for Together (but that song was supposed to play on INFINITE making a song for Inspirits, so that was a leeway), and Woohyun had to fight to get his solo album to get released. Was the title track of it even made by Woohyun? I don't recall that. Not to mention, majority of the self compositions have been partnered with another composer/producer. Basically, it is not easy for the members to get the freedom they want with the songs. It's a process that, in my opinion, they don't need to go through. The CEO has no trust in their input. The boys are not always 24/7 complaining about the company, but it has gotten more and more frequent with each comeback. And those "jests" are masking their real disdain. They have issues with how things are running, period. They simply don't want to be outright vicious. Yet their patience is running thin enough where Sungyeol called it out without no bull or sugarcoating anymore. Their consistent sound for INFINITE was with their old school edge (some fans do want Sweetune back). Rphabet changed that sound, so it's not really a sound anymore. They're now jutting out EDM tracks. And I think it is bad for them to stick with one producer, because there is absolutely no variety whatsoever. Having one producer means it goes back and forth with mixed reviews, cause they are not always going to put out something great. While with another composer, they can try to see if they can reach different audiences. Hell, may even get another hit since it's not EDM for once. Groups that have gotten higher don't stick with one producer. It worked with Sweetune, but they don't want Sweetune for title tracks anymore. And as proven, Last Romeo while critically panned (the most panned Sweetune production at least), has been liked by others, and it still managed, despite the bad reviews, to stick to 375,00+ downloads, not far from Back OR Bad, lol. So no, I doubt that it was a major reason. Idol groups have churned out plenty of shit songs and it still does well because of their fans. The song isn't the problem. It's the promotion. They were doing well and could have done better with Back, but instead they shipped INFINITE off to do world tours after two weeks without barely any variety attendance instead of going with the flow. That was Woollim ruining their momentum. And I doubt the 2013 scandals in variety was that important, it wasn't impacting enough, and everyone forgot about it eventually. It certainly didn't stop Sunggyu from appearing elsewhere. Late 2014, their main thing was getting money, money, and money for concerts. It may work now, but for how long if they continue to disappear year after year? How did the recent world tour do compared to the previous one? They did smaller venues. It was way too soon. At this point, I do feel that there aren't really that many ways to attract new fans to the fandom; it's not a matter of people not knowing the group, but more of fans just not interested in the type of music they put out, or that young fans just prefer the fresh meat. And what I disagree with the most here. Look at the statistics of the age range that comment on INFINITE's articles. Majority is still in the 10s, huge amount. Meaning you're wrong, there is interest within young fans. That's probably the reason why they are doing better than most senior groups as we speak. Look at their YouTube views. The amount of streaming that fans did back then couldn't even break 2MIL. Now we're close to 8MIL within four weeks, an astounding rise. At the end of the day, Woollim can put them in variety and do well by them, or they don't. It's not the music's fault (though they do need some changes I think), it's not INFINITE's lack of gaining interest. The company does not know how to properly manage them. To conclude: look how The Eye rose after appearing in Knowing Bros.
  7. I wouldn't go that far. It all depends next year and what they can work through before they renew with Woollim. I'm pretty certain that's how, for example, miss A's Fei got her solo. Otherwise, she would've ditched together with Jia. They should be scared now, lol. It's no good when the members have been subtly shading them as a business/company. Woollim isn't the same as it was in the past, back then they were humble and catered to the group. They changed, and for the worst. But it's not like the members have any better option out there either. The best bet is if they are able to build their own company, but that's if they are ready (and I mean in a lot of ways). For individual activities, Woollim can only accept, reject, or push. The offers come from the PDs. They can be a lot more influential for group appearances in varieties. But everything else there's a certain success rate PDs want, and they'll aim for the popular member. This is L's situation. They see him as marketable, especially overseas since he's got quite the consistent following everywhere the K-Pop niche is. If Woollim rejects it, they'll more than likely look elsewhere for what they want. Woollim can suggest another member. That's as much as they can do. I have no issue with Rphabet. I just think they should knock it off with the "only one producer for title tracks" shtick. It is quite great that they are holding on. Woollim should feel blessed to be honest, considering how they screwed up with things. There's still a market for INFINITE. Whether they'll take advantage of it is their call. It'll only affect them as a company in the long run. INFINITE can vow out any time. Members have implied they want to keep INFINITE and continue succeeding together, with more freedom.
  8. It's accumulated, but yeah. Musically, INFINITE was so amazing in the 2011 to 2012 era. Even Man In Love. I loved every track to death. Sweetune was at their best (I prefer they go with Sweetune more than with Monotree). Anyway, we'll see how Woollim handles post-promotions. It's like they lost their common sense. None of us are business people, but you don't need to thoroughly know statistics to see the effect and why. Who in the right mind would consider sending their group off in the midst of the rookies wave to do concerts for months after only two weeks of promotions for the song they came back with. And it's not even music shows either. They did not get the chance to get into variety shows and were limited due to time constraints. At least the thirst for INFINITE was essential after a year without them, but previous fans probably got distracted and started stanning other groups who were churning out more songs and appearances. I don't know who is doing such shit management. I hope INFINITE gives Woollim a wake up call though. They are at least doing well and The Eye is holding itself. Not sure about album sales.
  9. If INFINITE leaves, I don't know what Woollim would do. I'll be happy as long as they go together. The only ones I see with potential satisfaction to feel any need to stay so far are L, Sunggyu, and maybe Hoya. The rest have "joked" about their lack of schedules prominently (those "unemployed" jokes, for example), Sungyeol has been vocal about it twice now, and Woohyun had to more than likely force Woolim to give him an album and lamented it because he was remarking on getting a solo with some shade thrown in before it happened. INFINITE themselves have expressed they want more liberty now with the group. It's going to be quite the discussion come renewal time. Away from the potential consequences though, I simply want changes. Switch up who does the title tracks, composers for the B-sides have proven they can keep INFINITE's sound (more so than Rphabet if you ask me), put them in varieties, INFINITE are funny together. Market them. Media play a little. None of this stuff is hard. Companies have this mentality that once you're a "senior" group, they don't need to put investments anymore. They need to focus on their seedlings (in this case, Lovelyz), especially since INFINITE is close to enlisting. Usually companies have back up when that happens but the only ones who could really afford doing that are the Big 3. Companies like Woollim cannot follow unless they have a stable result. More so if they only have one girl group who has yet to make a big enough impact like Twice, GFriend, or BlackPink. Woollim's mistake was cutting promotions short and sending them off overseas for concerts to make quick money when new groups were debuting left and right. Nobody asked for it either. INFINITE would no doubt get lost in the sea, especially if you're not giving fans material for a year. What kind of...
  10. Back definitely had the potential, it's the most downloaded Rphabet track so far. Unless The Eye gains some steam, that is. Getting close to 200,000 downloads for only four weeks isn't that bad. Woollim doesn't have many artists as we speak. They shouldn't screw over their only boy group. Not to mention, they need to satisfy the members. Renewal is supposedly coming next year. I'm just tired of them using the same producer over and over again. And now it's the same with Rphabet. At this point, they need to explore beyond over usage, especially since they used other composers for their b-sides...that created legit good songs.
  11. I've collected how well INFINITE has done digitally with their title singles (accumulation though), correct me if there's any misinformation (how to count digitals have been changed multiple times): (2011) Nothing's Over - 653,738+ [PEAK ERA] (2011) Be Mine - 2,079,203+ (2011) Paradise - 1,563,259+ (2012) The Chaser - 1,545,536+ (2013) Man In Love - 736,454+ [yeah, the one i-fans critically panned, lol) (2013) Destiny - 522,346+ [PEAK ERA OVER] (2014) Last Romeo - 369,721+ [another critically panned one for both inter. and dom. fans this time, yet it's almost in a similar bracket as Back and Bad wut] (2014) Back - 401,171+ (2015) Bad - 374,040+ (2016) The Eye - 175,693+ [so far, I can see it passing 200,000 maybe] I was wondering how they've done with Rphabet tracks in comparison to Sweetune tracks, lol. Mind you, 2014 was the year that Woollim began to not promote them properly and ship them off overseas and whatnot to concerts, cutting promotions short (2 weeks). Then they didn't come back for a year in the time when new groups were debuting. Cause and effect.
  12. Yeah, I would rather send them to variety shows. Music shows aren't much (which is why I'm okay with one month of promotions there, plus they can't win any more awards), it's only for fans. It helps motivates said fans to stream and buy and whatnot, but that's where the impact ends. I have an issue with Myungsoo of Infinity Challenge (I don't really like the guy...), and they only care to ride the coattails of what's "trending". They don't care for anything else, even if other idol groups are better and funnier. It's whatever though. I just want INFINITE to have some work in TV after SNL. I swear, if INFINITE gets locked away...
  13. They've been on both Immortal Song (they can afford to send Woohyun there again though) and Running Man before. "My Little Television" is a good next step. They should do some variety work now that promotions are over. Don't let them get slept on for another...well, whenever it is that we'll get a comeback. But Woollim lacks common sense with them these days.
  14. That is a goddamn lie. IchiHime made the most sense and I'm pretty sure plenty can be given to you as to why in the manga. But I doubt you'd cared like you've done the past 15 years. It's no one's fault that you and others (IchiRuki shippers, really) ignored it. Anyway, getting into it isn't going to go anywhere because it'll end as it always has and it's just over. IchiHime are canon, Bleach is done. And the fact that this is the worst thing you could say about the Bleach ending when you have a bunch of unresolved plots speaks for itself.
  15. Myungie literally exudes tired. That picture with Sungjong has him look like he either woke up for the commemoration selca or is about to drop any second.
  16. Sungyeol got Sujeong. Yein wasn't there at the time, so Dongwoo got Baby Soul?.
  17. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iPbAB8IqReQ Best I could do, lol. The fan site took it out and hasn't re-uploaded it.
  18. You can only do the Melon pass with iPhone. I don't have an iPhone. And I'm sure others don't as well. That makes it hard. The others are doable.
  19. Literally the album? :o How about the title track? It has quite the longevity. And I'm thinking the airing of Knowing Bros. and SNL is going to further help it.
  20. He already finished filming Catman. He's currently filming One More Time. Then if he accepts, guess he'll start filming the Solomon thing soon.
  21. Do something with his hair. Do something with his hair. JUST DO SOMETHING WITH HIS HAIR! Geezus, it isn't that hard. Going to listen to that recording now.
  22. Yes, we are having quite the longevity. Even with all Armies streaming., it still goes back up Top 20. No idea how the download numbers are though.
  23. The All, The Everything And The Nothing, The Light And The Dark, All That Is, And All That Is Not.
