And this is what makes me so frustrated. Fans/netizens need to knock it off and grow up. So what if two adults are in a consenting relationship. It's life; they are humans. It shouldn't be a scandal. It should maybe at most be news for like 2-3 minutes and then proceed with "okay, cool." That's it; the same way marriages or engagements should proceed wth "congratulations" regardless of celebrity status. Fans/netizens/antis/etc need to stop using dating announcements to cause unnecessary drama. If BamBam and Mina are in a relationship than wht does it really matter? This concept of idols being unable to date (openly) is backwards and very controlling on part of the fandom. Fans say they "love" the idols but than don't want them to find happiness. Idols aren't priests; they shouldn't take vows of celibacy*. Fans are essentially requesting their idols live a very lonely, isolated life. *However - if any idols or individuals chooses a life of celibacy and/or asexuality/ aromantic than that is okay too. No judgment. But it should be a choice - not an external force.

So, I was banned from the bashing thread because of allegations of defending?! Seriously? There were none. It was a criticism. If you see that post as defending than pretty much 86% of the posts on that thread are defending. The user stated they didn't understand why Somi was popular as she isn't a good singer. I agreed (so no defending) but also pointed out there signature photos was BTS Jimin. Another idol who isn't a good singer. It was a comparison. Both idols were popular because of their visuals. It is called calling someone out for hypocrisy not defending. So where is the defending? I certainly did NOT defend Somi or JYPE. I was criticizing (or bashing, if you will) the hypocrisy of both the user and KPOP for prioritizing visuals. If they are upset I was targeting their precious Jimin than that is defensive behavior.

Yup. And I'm pretty sure we all just want the best for the people we care about so nagging IS a form of affection 🤣

I prefer she be healthy rather than starve herself (as that is what the extreme diet really is) but she is an adult and can make decisions for herself. She's gorgeous tho so I hope she knows that. As for the donations it sounds like people donate items and possibly those items go to auction/for sale whereas all the profit will go to a charity/mom-profit/etc organization.

I don't mind witty, comedic, dry, quirky music but Fire still fell like it was missing something or rushed. It just wasn't my taste. And artists CAN have songs that are horrendous; "duds." Sometimes it just doesn't work out. It doesn't mean the songwriter isn't a good songwriter or people should have a poor opinion on them but Music is often an experiment - and sometimes it doesn't turn out well. It happens. It's okay to admit that. It happens to the best as well. However - JYP has shown to be very deserving of his high reputation as a songwriter/producer. ALSO I still don't get people. People were furious JYP wrote a song for IOI but not Twice. They are then furious when JYP writes a song for a group in his company. People need to make up their mind.

Fire was a miss. And I respect JYP as a songwriter/producer but Fire was a very hot, burning pile of mess. It was ... just bizarre. If they were trying for quirky, gauche, comedic, or etc ... it missed the target. It just wasn't visually or auditory pleasant. However - Still Alive wasn't bad at all. He's written hundreds of songs so of course some will be better than others. It would be pretty hard to ALWAYS have a hit song.
