  1. PLEDIS ranked 15th for domestic company Gaon album sales in first half of 2015.
  2. The fishy thing is ~ they chouldn't have organised a proper comeback with top notch concept already? Like, it's been 2 years! They already said they were practicing in 2014 for a comeback and then scrapped it because they didn't feel it was powerful enough to be a comeback. The real reason is - After School has been put aside. PLEDIS invested in Orange Caramel and Seventeen. After School could have been a moneybringer. But this way - hell no.
  3. I agree with you. Wanting to do a show about a black person, but hiring an asian to paint black looks to me like 'In our desperate way to show that we are not racist, we became racist'.
  4. Maybe their comeback song is called 'COOL'!
  5. Idea ˇ~ After School is coming soon, featuring a member from Seventeen.
  6. Honestly, some artists are very happy and satisfied with no more than 1 line. It makes them comfortable to do on stage what they're doing the best. Dancing or looking pretty, attracting fans, representing the group etc. She's the weakest link in terms of vocal so I guess it would be auto-destructive to give her more lines. On the sidenote, I LOVE HURT LOCKER! Is it just me or is Keumjo born bias-wrecker? Like, her dancing is astonishing. My bias is of course Kyungri, but she stood out so much. Also, Hyuna. Like, seriously girl? Why is she always shaded? Hyuna was PERFECT. PER-FECT. Her vocal in chorus is something I want to hear all the time. I'm usually not a big fan of Erin's raps because, even though she's a skilled girl, she gets clumsy lines. I loved the rap in Hurt Locker. Thank you for this wonderful comeback. I wish it slays other groups!
  7. OC + E-Young and Kaeun? What's the point of not making a comeback purely of OC then? I don't think they would decide on this, because E-Young and Kaeun are not moneybringers, thanks to poor management of perfect talent. Also, after all these years, I'm having a hard time trusting PLEDIS on anything. So, rebirth might be a really bad thing!
  8. ^Ahjumma concept would work flawlessly for OC!
  9. I agree with everything you said (except for Brave Bros - First Love was GREAT, but lacked originality in terms of instrumentals. Kpop public had already been fed to 14 comebacks of a mid-tempo brass-style nostalgic Brave Bros songs, music-wise, First Love stood no chance of winning. Concept-wise, it had. But concept should not compensate for a repeated song. Although, I LOOOOOVE what Brave Brothers did to Sunmi and AOA. Love love love! And his collaboration with Sistar was also great. I would prefer Flashback producers, honestly. Flashback had a decent success, which evidently required a follow-up comeback. PLEDIS used a follow-up chance to promote Lipstick, which was an OK choice, but I'd prefer they postponed Lipstick and made AS comeback.
  10. 2 gossips were set on public today over facebook. One says, by an insider of PLEDIS that no longer works there since April, that PLEDIS is currently debating OC or Raina's comeback. No trace of AS comeback. Other gossip says Uee has also decided to leave After School this year. I wish there were positive gossips.
  11. Yaaay, PLEDIS is making her lose weight just before a comeback!
  12. Exactly, their songs don't lack quality. They lack promotion!
  13. She left PLEDIS, meaning she's finally allowed to do something. Same counts for the rest non-Seventeen artists
  14. Yeah. But imagine the rage. "OC THREE COMEBACKS?!?!?!?! AS NONE?!?!?!?" They would have to announce both comebacks but explain that they would come simultaneously
  15. Maybe what she meant was 'funny you asked, teaser image incoming in a week heheheh'
  16. Because there were mysterious teaser pictures hyping it up, and obv countless threads claiming it to be a solo comeback
  17. I honestly thought the Kaeun hype was about the solo japanese comeback, not a commercial. Commercials also bring income though.
  18. Yeah, and I'm definitely sure she's got more fans than haters. Her fans are much more intense and passionate! And there's more of 'em
  19. + Everything she would say would be taken out of the context, making her look like a horrifying monster.
  20. I bet they are working on something as we speak
  21. Most probably, they had to use her fluent Japanese once
  22. It was great to me, but it's true that it looked like a Brave Brothers era of mid-tempo, saxophoney songs. I think it was a bad move to send a BB song as a 1-year long awaited comeback whose success clearly determined the way After School will evolve in the following 2 years
  23. I agree with things you said. I'm very hopeful about the following comeback because girls are raising their individual popularity with everything they do. Take Nana for instance. She's a major money bringer to the company, and she can do it via After School's comeback. She's a chef, a designer, a model, starring in dramas, variety shows, commercials, she's practically everywhere! Not to mention she's the most beautiful face in the world in 2014. Raina and Lizzy also bring some income to the company with a lot of activities, but I wanna add to it their solo comebacks which weren't as strong, but mentionable nevertheless. Being in Orange Caramel is also a + factor! I'm a bit worried because there are people that don't know Orange Caramel is actually a subunit of After School. They think of OC as a mothergroup of Crayon Pop which is... Man, wrong on many levels. Uee is all over the news lately! She's also engaging in a lot of activities. Look at Jungah, starting her own fashion line. Finally something she can continously enjoy! Kaeun and E-Young are not popular at this moment. Kaeun was a DJ, but they need more of everything for them. To sum up, members of After School are very active lately. It may be a preparation for a successful comeback. Everybody will be interested what they've prepared! That's what I think, at least
  24. I kinda want her to grow hair back too. I don't think there's a girl in AS that suits short hair better than long one
