At this point, minus Semmi and Euna, I don't even want Jiwon to make the top 9 because the group doesn't seem like a match to me. I like NC.A but I'm still not sure about her as an idol vocalist. She's top notch at slow songs like ballads and she did well with the mid tempo Gfriend song but I haven't heard her have to go hard at a quick tempo song yet. The rest are just beauty queens and aegyo specialists so that has no appeal to me. If fandoms go nuts then then final 9 probably won't be a group I'll like at all. For this next mission Jiwon's group has a aegyo pop song. So while I think she'll be a little out of place because of her age, the song style should be right up her alley vocally.

Her group for the next mission lost a lot of it's strong vocalists so Jiwon will either have to step up or she'll get lost in the background.

Yeah, "weak" was a bit too strong a word. Yebin, Yang Jiwon, and even Euna Kim are all decent vocalists and NC.A is great one but none of them, minus maybe Euna, have soul in their voices. Semmi has a strong voice with soul but she'll need support in order to use it to its' fullest. Pretty much all the rest of the vocalists in the top9 are typical kpop type singers. Yeoeun or even Woohee would be great to add in there from the people that are left. But I guess in the end it depends on the image of the group but to me I'd rather see a versatile group(conceptwise) with decently strong vocals.

To me the girl's top 9 is vocally weak. I know NC.A is everybody's top vocal pick but I still need to hear her do a quick tempo song to be sure about her as far as being in a kpop group. It's great Semmi is there but imo they still need another strong vocal in there.

Been a Flowsik fan since Aziatx but his solo stuff has been hit or miss with me. This popped up a couple days ago and it really got my attention. He's supposed to release an album soon. possibly 2 albums (1 totally solo, 1 full of collabs).

Yeah, idk what the hell is going on with Eun E's voting. It baffles me as to how she can remain in last place after her performance in the last mission. I'm going to guess that the top groups will indeed be from next week's episode. I only say that from a production standpoint that it would be odd to have the winning team shown this week and only losing performances next week. But that's just a guess.

Actually I kinda disagree with this and it's going to be confusing as to why I think this way. Mamamoo and SPICA may share a lot in their singing styles but Jiwon is the exception to that. She is unique within SPICA but her singing style is typical kpop. So for me I thought it was mistake she chose YTB (at least vocally), although I'm not sure which other group would have been better considering her group won. For this round it was a little better fit, but still she isn't really shining vocally on stage. Her boot performance really showed what type of song she needs for a survival program like this, fun but strong with some strong high notes but not necessarily powerful ones. Jiwon's strength is ballads but ballads don't do well in survival programs. Maybe a power ballad like "Ghost" might do well.

What's wrong with my etiquette? I didn't swear or call you names, go ahead and report me to the mods if you think I've done something wrong,I simply put you in a group of people that say Jiwon is getting too much screen time, which is what YOU SAID! I do see her in every episode but she's not getting a crazy amount of air time. And considering she has been the #1 girl on the public poll since the beginning I could even argue that she should get more, but I won't. The only times she appeared in the last mission was during her teams segment (and even then it was much less then some of the others especially considering she was the team leader) and a couple of times she made comments. And just like you I get to have an opinion of my own. If you don't want people commenting on your opinion I suggest you not post it in an open forum.

I'm very surprised by the latest girls ranking in that it seems like a lot of the vocalists are dropping in the rankings. And it looks like most of the girl's green team, who won the last mission, either stayed about the same or dropped. I thought for sure S.E.T.'s Eun E (who was the overall #2 in the last mission with 285) was going to shoot up this time but she only went from #62 to #61.

Jiwon finished this voting cycle still at #1. But the hate is building against her so we'll have to see what happens the next cycle now that the voting has reset. LOL! "Has a camera glued to Jiwon"? If you actually watched the show, you would know that she was hardly shown in the last mission. And I'm not complaining about it because she didn't play that big a part in the on-stage performance. But this idea that people like you have that she's being favored over everyone else is ridiculous. She may have gotten a lot of attention during the auditions but that was rightfully earned by her supeboot performance and that earned her some popularity. It's funny because no complains if anyone else is in the top nine because they are popular but for some reason if Jiwon isn't the most talented then she doesn't deserve being there.....

I'm not even sure that she even was in NY. The tweets said that is was but when I took another look at the first video it look like a mall and all the people are Asian. Not that it couldn't be that way, but I found it odd.

I never watched Produce 101, is the mission scoring the same as they did it here? I think the mission scoring really adds a different dimension to the way they approached their performances. It can't be just about sticking your prettiest faces up front and just having the best vocalists do all the singing. The teams have to balance it all out so everyone can shine in the performance, so everyone in the group can get a high score and the team score goes up. And popularity in the public poll isn't always the same as the audience either, so relying on that isn't really an option either. Very interesting and I hope they keep it that way for mission scoring.

But that can't be the show that will air next week? I don't think they can edit a show this long in one day, can they? Unless they are doing something else on the show next week. But still I think they are farther ahead then just mission 2 in real time. Wasn't mission #1 shot in front of an audience almost a month ago?

I'm getting a bit confused between what is happening in real time and what is happening on the show.......So the elimination is tomorrow but isn't the show shot a few weeks ahead of time? So isn't there still a mission that includes everyone (including those that will be eliminated tomorrow) that still needs to air on TV? Kinda sucks if someone does really well in the next mission but gets eliminated because the public didn't get to see/vote for them.

I wanted to share tweets about Sihyun's birthday party but they're all linked together and I didn't want to have a massive post like that. Party looked great and Boa was there too. Sihyun is pretty much the only member who seems like her life barely changed after they went on hiatus. She's always had an active social life and continues to have one now. So I watched the full episode and I don't see where she stumbled as a leader. In fact considering her group won the mission, you could say she did a great job. I think they blamed her zoning out and missing her line in the practice on her being leader but she used to do that anyway (but she really needs to stop that). My only thing is she has to put herself in the performances more. I know it's tricky being the leader and trying to get all 9 members to share the spotlight but she can't be in background all the time either. I was surprised that she got such a high vote but then I remembered that they shot this mission shortly after Ep1 was aired on TV so I think she was still riding that hype. But I'm not gonna be bothered by people complaining about her getting that score because: 1) I'm not overly obsessed about the scoring or ranking and 2) after listening to 5 years of kpop fans saying "it's not about the vocals, it's about popularity",salty viewers can suck on the fact that a SPICA member has actually gotten some popularity. But she needs to concentrate on her own singing/performing more.

^^^Yah Jiwon!!! I still haven't watched this week's show but I saw comments on Twitter. Seems she's getting flak now which is kinda expected since she's been in top for that last 2 weeks. But some fans are even commenting on her being leader. I know last week's episode she was shaky but I'm actually ok with it. She needs that experience to get better so even of she makes mistakes, I'm glad she's stepping up. In the long run, well after this show has ended, that experience will serve her well. WTH is going on with Bbo!!! She going to Taiwan, I think for a film festival, on what appears to be 1st Class or maybe even a private plane!?! Damn, she really moved up! The preview for the next "the Unit" episode came out and it looks like Jiwon's gonna struggle with the choreography a bit. http://www.vlive.tv/video/48319/ I know SPICA as a whole was never great at dancing but I always figured Jiwon was one of the better ones, especially considering the amount of training she had before debuting. Boa's the worst, and I guess Sihyun is the best? Maybe Bbo? I know when Narae did that variety show where she was a cheerleader did picked it up pretty fast (she always surprises me at how good she ends up being at things), So I watched the subbed episode of the last weeks the Unit and I like the approach PDs have taken with the show. It isn't all about heavy drama, but there obviously is/will be some. They are showing some of the kinder moments too, like the Jiwon-Hyunjoo thing and the MAS-MadTown thing. I was kinda disappointed that Jiwon didn't take a more active role in forming the team she's on. Not that there are any complaints from me as far as the people on it. But her coming on this show was kind of a breakthrough for her and her confidence in herself. She had stated in the pre-audition interview that she was really doubting herself and her abilities and it was keeping her from trying out for parts and taking risks with her career. But it seemed like she had a breakthrough and was going all in with this show. I know forming their own teams was a shock, and Serri seems to have a really strong personality, but I am hoping Jiwon doesn't just revert herself to being a follower. Like I had posted before, I'm not overly concerned with her "ranking" in the show. I just want her to give it her best and let the cards fall where they may. I think even at this point, barring any major scandal. she's done a lot for her career, at least as far as getting acting and musical gigs. I do think this is probably her only chance at having a full on singing career though. I think if she doesn't make the final 9, she'll never be able to have a chance at a solo singing career in the future
