Two years late but started and finished 'Gone Girl' within 24 hours, my brain is fried. Good book, possibly my favourite. Would recommend  to people who are fans of the thriller genre and who like mindfucks and dark humour

The backlight doesn't change automatically on the Paperwhite, but you can change it manually. I don't think the Voyage is worth the extra £60. The battery life seems to have gotten a downgrade too, if you look at the "Technical Details" section on the Amazon website, it says the Voyage battery lasts two weeks less. Seems like the automatic backlight drains a lot of juice, or maybe since the Voyage is thinner they can only fit a smaller battery into it.

Getting a kindle was the best thing to happen in my life. I've got the paperwhite and would recommend it. I've looked at the latest model and the only improvement I see is that it has pressure pads on each side, so instead of hitting the page, you can just touch the kindle a little harder to change pages. That's not really that big of an improvement though since touching the screen isn't hard work either.
