  1. Can someone tell me when this Harper's Bazaar Charity event is? And maybe what time?

As the drama goes on I felt prouder and prouder because you actually can see his improvement as the episodes go along its like he's learning every episode

I agree, it's great to see him improving! :ahmagah:

New Tide CF! I'm so here for Yixing showing his forehead in everything!!

Behind the scenes of his Youth Magazine shoot!!

yay, a new CF! He looks great. :ohbi:

  2. Well, I can't say I'm surprised

From the start of my relationship with Naver, I understood one thing - people there are never satisfied with ANYTHING. They will be complaining both in case something is good or in case something is bad.

They also hate when idols/singers are promoted to act in doramas - and they always complain about awkwardness and stiffiness in their performance wherever it's relevant or not

And they are always bashing everything in the beginning and then after some time the situation turns quite the opposite and they start to praise the thing they hated.

This is just how they are

Wouldn't that be Nate, lol? Naver is actually not that bad most of the time, since they actually have admins who clean up the comments. ^^

I have to say, after watching the raw a bit more; The acting was a bit awkward and I agree with those zoom-ins, some were so random.

But we're only at the beginning of the drama and the first few episodes are often a bit rusty.

And I kinda have the feeling the korean version will be a bit more lighthearted than the chinese drama.

  3. based on korean comments on the current #1 trending article on naver people are saying lee jun ki hard carried the episodes and that iu's acting was awkward, one comment even said everyone except lee jun ki was awkward.

From what I have seen so far, IU wasn't that awkward. But I'm curious how it will develop, because her role is not easy.

  4. So it's the queen and Wang yo that want to kill crown prince right. I understand why yo did it, he want the crown but why the queen in it too? Is the crown prince not her son too?

In the chinese version, the crown prince is the son of the emperor's first wife who died during his birth. And because the emperor loved his first wife so much, he became the crown prince. Not everyone liked that tho'.

Just finished the 2nd ep and now I really can't wait for more!!

My fave characters so far are Wang so, hae soo and I didn't expect to like his character but baekhyun make smile his character is so funny.

And please don't tell me the 8th prince will have feeling for hae soo too later....

If my memory is correct i remember from character and relationship chart someone posted here it's only Wang so and Wang yo will have feeling for hae soo right?

Be prepared for many OTPs lol

  5. Thank you! I'm very interested in that period of time so I'll definetely warch the original Chinese series - I've seen some posters of it - it looks interesting especially the costumes (I adore historical TV-series) and their general appearence is so different from what the remake showing us (hair hair hair  ). I wonder how historically accurate they both are - I guess, Chinese version is more close to actual history events?

The main heroines for both versions look very beautiful, delicate and gentle, I love it

And I'm so excited for the remake! Hopefully, it will be a good dorama

I think in both versions, the characters are based on actual historical figures. At least some of them. :>

But I guess they had to change a few things for the korean version, so it makes more sense.

The chinese version also has a sequel, but I haven't watched it yet.

I'm also really excited to see the remake! :chu:

  6. I didn't watch it, but I know the plot

But now as I think about it, should I see Chinese version first? Or maybe it's better not to watch but see Korean one for the first time and make a clear impression?

    Did you watch Chinese one?

Yes, I watched the chinese version during my summer holidays.

I don't think you need to watch the chinese version first, except if you want to see the differences between two versions. But the chinese version is beautiful, especially the costumes and scenary. If you're interested in chinese history and the genre, then you will like it. ^^
