Hmm I dunno. and something getting thrown off wouldn't surprise me after the mess that happened to SNSD. I'd assume that it's either the medley or the actual MV teaser, although medley seems more likely. Just makes no sense to release it at midnight.

I'm not 100% sure on this so don't quote me but it could do something with hours and trying to get the most views on the same day. Same reason why they'd release an album at midnight and why there's midnight showings: to try to maximize profit by getting in the most hours you can. For views it might matter cause there are broadcast points and I thought that some music shows used youtube views as a part of that but IDK. That's assuming they're releasing the MV. IDK why they'd release the medley teaser at midnight.

So if something's being released at 0:00 that'd mean like midnight there right? So is that why we're all waiting or did i miss something? I'm so confused.

I am so ready for this song. The bass drop just gave me life. It seems like the song is gonna be structured a lot like the boys where there's gonna be more going on in the verses and prechorus and then the chorus is gonna drop and be mostly instrumental. BUT don't quote me on that lol. Either way I am ready to be slayed.

Well I can at least say that if we just end up with another Box MV [ which is most likely since the J&K show showed the set and it was a box ] it;s gonna be a very nice one. The outfits and styling look amazing and the song sounds really nice. Sounds that it might be pretty anticlimactic of a song judging by the comeback teaser from the music show and from what we could hear in epsiode 5 of J&K

The teaser was awesome! But I'm just getting really worried that this is gonna end up like Pink Tape. Everything was perfect and flawless and then the MV was a significant step down. :( I dunno I just don't wanna get my hopes up high cause SM has turned making great teasers for mediocre MVs into an art form.

I agree. I don't know why but it just feels like ever since their first album Sulli's just been putting the minimal amount of effort into this. Like I get it that she's supposed to be one of SM's acting idols and isn't supposed to be that important to the group's music and performance but it's kind of been seeming like she doesn't care anymore cause it's not what she wants to be doing. Which is understandable really, but it doesn't excuse not putting in enough into the performance as the other members. Now if she's just tired or it's her time of the month or just not feeling well then I can understand. But...it's been a nagging situation for like years now.

I think I'm still reeling from Kris being seen as "obviously interested in men" because I'm a lot more blind than I thought then.

I honestly am just so surprised how everyone is hung up on the dancing. There are practically no female k-pop groups that do choreography that's really difficult. Even f(x) who is supposedly an "asia pop dance group" doesn't do a lot of complex stuff. So, I feel there's a lot of unnecessary worry about Hana's dancing ability. Beside's she's gonna be a vocalist obviously so that's her role in the group. Personally, I don't think she's ugly at all and I've read that a lot of people are raging on the looks of the potential members which is just ridiculous -.- I mean yeah, opinions and all that, but I feel that people come down so hard on looks when most of the time they're significantly less attractive anyways. Besides, it's not as if plastic surgery isn't a thing. I feel that if YG isn't concerned about her looks then no one else should care. Because in the end it's not as if they can't be improved on. She has a voice though and that'll get her recognition.

Wait so is Sungjong really going on beard tv We Got Married? I'm so....wow (if it's true). It's not surprising anymore really, they're going to do anything they can to uphold the holy heterosexuality. I'm just kind of sad because I feel like if he does he probably wants to too. I mean, they've really been pushing for him to be more manly and it such a crappy situation for him to be in.

That's kind of how I feel too. Like, they gain no PR from this. It does cover up baekhyun's alleged underage drinking but other than that both groups are already really popular so they don't need any PR stunts. Plus bearding wouldn't make any sense unless one of them really slipped up or something and SM planned this. But that'd be really, really reaching. I think it's honestly just that they're dating. Which just means that people who thought Baekhyun was bi-sexual or straight now have more to support it. I'm bothered a lot by people being like "oh, he's a man now." and "oh wow, he's become a true man." Like it pisses me off how being effeminate as a man makes you no longer a man but being masculine as a woman doesn't make you "not really a woman." I just..I dunno. Either way I'm interested to see if he's gonna become "super manly" now or if he'll be the same. But yeah, again: dating a girl =/= being heterosexual.

I was kind of expecting something more along the lines of her single covers for Lelio, XOXO and etc but these aren't too bad. The PV for Lelio...well...points to her for trying new things I guess.

That is a good point. Then again, it wouldn't be the first time a group with a number implication didn't have that many members. 9Muses for a while only had 8 members and I think even 7 at one point. Plus I thought at one point 5Dolls had 6 members. But yeah, either way you're right as in it wouldn't make sense to put them in Rainbow. Plus I'd understand them wanting to fix Kara since they're DSP's cash cow essentially, but I don't think I'd understand them wanting to add members to Rainbow (unless like you said somebody left)

I'd honestly be surprised if Youngji isn't put in KARA. I mean she's been trained by three companies. It's already amazingly difficult to get into one but to get into three separate companies has to mean she's idol material. At this point it's just wondering who the other person might be. Half of me wants them to be "ok so never mind, none of you are gonna be in kara BUT we're gonna put all seven of you in a group." Or at least hopes they do that for the remaining 5 or 6 (depending on if one girl goes to kara or two). I doubt they're gonna add any of them to Rainbow like I saw suggested earlier. Then again, it might just be my preference against rainbow since they've been pretty horribly marketed since debut. But that's another topic entirely. I think the main goal of DSP should be longevity. Because if KARA only goes downhill from here, they're going to not have anything to keep them afloat. Long term, I see the ideal situation of DSP being KARA back in a good place and then getting another girl group popular. Again, I'm not sure what else they can do with Rainbow but I'd be surprised if they make a new girl group before trying to fix them.

At first I was kinda not ready to get into this just because I felt really bad for the existing KARA members but watching this show has made me see that these girls are really talented. Plus I'm convinced that whoever doesn't get picked as replacements will get put in Puretty2.0 essentially so I don't feel too bad for the rest of them. I wanted Sojin to win at first because I felt for her in the 1st episode with her being the oldest and essentially this being her last chance before she's "too old". But for some reason, she just doesn't seem to be exceptional in singing or dancing. Don't get me wrong, she's really good but I noticed especially in Step that she wasn't as good as some of the other girls with a few of the moves (the hip swivel for one). She doesn't have a bad voice but is overshadowed by Somin and Youngji, who I feel are actually the best candidates for KARA. But if I'm thinking about the balance between KARA and what most likely will be the new girl group, I want Sojin and Youngji to win. Somin is definitely the most qualified to be in KARA but for one, she looks a lot like Hara (but this might backfire either way no matter where she ends up TBH) and in terms of age, she's closer to the rest of the members than Sojin is. If Sojin's left with the other girls to form the new GG then there'd be a pretty awkward age gap I feel. But she'd fit in well in KARA. (sorry this post is so long) But yeah essentially I feel that the three strongest contenders are Somin, Youngji, and Sojin in that order.

I feel bad for the girl who cried during her interview (the first one to go for the interview) I also sympathize with her a lot. She's reaching the cut off age and I know what it feels like to be in the position of "this is my last chance" so I'm going to be really sad if she doesn't make it. But then again, if she doesn't maybe she'll get put into a less shitty situation or under a better company or something.

I feel it's pretty much difficult to say anything about him because he's so stoic and soft-spoken. That being said I've not really been given anything to suggest he's interested in men either. But if I were to guess I'd say he has more of a likelihood of being straight or somewhere on the gray-A scale (asexuality) rather than being gay.

To be honest, I feel it'd be the opposite. After a while of being in the situation I'd imagine you'd get used to not being aroused. Then again, I'm not really a sexual person anyways so I can't quite speak for the people who have a normal or high sex drive in general. But I still don't think that him being/not being aroused really has much weight. Especially since we as men are capable of getting a hard on even if we were not stimulated sexually in any way.

Well to be honest, I've been in situations where I had to be naked around other attractive hot guys and I didn't get hard. I'm not saying it's a general rule but it's definitely not as if it's possible to not get hard even around someone attractive if the situation isn't appropriate.

I'm just confused as to why the show played it up to be anything. I mean isn't butt slapping supposedly not as nuanced as it is in american culture? I thought it was pretty much the same as a pat on the back so IDK why in the show they were playing it up to be something more. Then again I have to remember that this show is geared towards Exo fan-girls so they'll take literally any sort of physical interaction to mean something. Yet only in the sense of "he's gay but he's not really gay cause he's obviously into girls still" which still doesn't make any fuckin' sense to me.

This is gonna be interesting. Although I'm a huge SNSD fan and will still hope to see them on top, I'm super excited and happy for 2NE1. There were so many threads that were saying that this is the end of 2NE1 and how since they had to rely on producers they were seen as "weak" and "a failure" by YG since they couldn't produce for themselves like the other big YG acts. Now I'm just laughing cause CL produced three tracks and they've completely solidified their stance as "we're not going anywhere" which makes me so happy for them. I wish they continue to have success and stay relevant and that all their haters will be force-fed all the shit they were talking about 2NE1.

I think it has something to do with them both being able to speak english to be honest. I mean, people ship Amber with Henry to the same definitive degree that many people here say Tao and Sehun are in a relationship. IDK but the fact that most of the commonly speculated gay male idols have been on WGM is fishy. But like someone said, either way it means more publicity. Plus I can totally understand the desire to put all the rumors to rest, even if it is true, it just helps secure their career and image. Just like how many gay men will still marry a woman to keep up appearances. Its no less different just way less devious.
