thanks for sharing this. i agree with all of your points. the king totally knows won is a smart-ass and has a lot of hidden agenda up in his sleeves that's why i got confused whether he loves or hates that side of him but he definitely fears it. note that in the novel, rin and san were more of the bickering-duo while won is the calmest person but that's not the case in the drama. i think it's a smart move to change that. with him being the comical one right now, it will make his character even more conflicting when he gets crazy in the later parts. i'm so excited for that! ngl, it's a bit hard to concentrate when scenes of won-san-rin come up. i get taken aback with their visuals for real lol. also, no one talks about the queen but i strangely love her. i love a powerful woman. --- if you also want to watch the drama in full hd (like me) you can download it here and subs are here

The pilot ep was good! There were no cringey scenes. I enjoyed it a lot. Also, the child actors did so well too. That part when they were sending san the message from her mother and thought that she's the made was so heartbreaking.
