    I think you underestimate male idol fans. The views/likes/hearts/etc. for the most popular male contestants are already leagues ahead of the most popular female contestants.

    It's not about what they did, but HOW they did it, the singing and dancing was good but that's it... just good, there was barely any stage presence. As someone who's not a fan of LOONA even I had high expectations, and they weren't met so I can see it from YG'S point of view. There were plenty of auditions where the contestants did something simple and still managed to be impressive. They're pretty girls who can dance and sing but there was something missing from the audition, like they were doing it just to get it done.

    I disagree, ACE ONF and LOONA alone had a lot more anticipation than a lot of the contestants from last week. The difference from last week is most likely the novelty wearing off after checking out the first ep. CL might have been a factor though.
