A good question, but unfortunately I can only give the pitiful answer of: It depends on the group. For some it could create conflict, others might not care, and there may be a situation where half are supportive and half are not. Granted I think the idols would still smile pretty for the camera and act like besties, because that's their job. I'm wondering how a group would fare if one of the members was known to be les/bi. Would the entire group get bashed or just that one person? Perhaps the population would be totally unbothered (probably wishful thinking).

Like you, I interpreted her reaction to be "Oh crap I kissed my friend" as opposed to her being les/bi and uncomfortable.

I had a similar conversation about the whole "Amber sexuality" thing. I'm still that person who's on the fence about it, despite shipping kryber for so long. I'm perfectly fine with people who think she's straight, but it has to be for the right reasons. A lot of the time I see the non or anti AmberxGirl shippers proclaim that anyone who ships Amber with a woman or thinks she's not straight is stereotyping. Sure some people do (which needs to stop), but not everyone does, and I feel like quite a few say they think Amber is straight to make themselves look better, or because it's trendy to publicly say that a tomboy is straight. Of course tomboys can be straight, it's no thing. The way a person dresses doesn't, and really shouldn't determine sexuality guesses, but a lot of people are raised to think that, which goes back to what I say earlier about people making themselves feel better and trying to push against those norms. That's a beautiful thing on its own, but there'd be nothing wrong if she wasn't straight, so I wish a certain part of the "Amber is straight" crew would stop treating the idea of her being bi/les as some abhorrent thing. I've seen the "it's none of your business" argument thrown around, and honestly, guys it's not. However (huge, freakin' HOWEVER) the same people who say that aren't afraid to dig into what boyfriends she might have had in the past, while cheering her on to bang them. Amber's sexuality is only off-limits if you don't think she's straight, which is beyond laughable. There is controversial about being gay, and society should stop treating it like that. No, none of us fans have any real right to know what she prefers, but we're all here to gossip and spaz out about a lot of things that celebrities do that we shouldn't know nor care about. So long as we're not going up to famous people and shoving our thoughts about their lives in their faces, or destroying their careers, the speculations of a few nobodies shouldn't and don't matter. There are certainly issues I have with parts of the "Amber is not straight" crew, and can argue for or against both sides, but this thread being what it is, I won't go into that. We're here for teh ghey. One thing I do know is that whether she's straight, bisexual, lesbian, asexual, or into walls I will never not think she and Krystal make a hot couple.

Completely agree. If it was something more serious I don't think Amber would have uploaded it. Besides friends don't have to walk on eggshells around each other. They can make crass or rough jokes, because both parties know it's a joke. While none of us know their true dynamic, from what little I see, it merely seems like two friends playing around. Someone said they believed that Amber liked Krystal more and "craved" (I think that's the word used, if not forgive me) her attention, but I've always thought the opposite. This isn't the Kryber thread, so I'll skip the reasoning for now.
