Don't read too much into it, TWICE were reading from a Script that they rehearsed, all their Showcases are practised as if they were in front of a Live Audience, so the members would have already known that B.E.P were attending.

It wouldn't have had the same impact... I've watched a couple of reactions and they pretty much tune in on Sana right from the start where she is playful, so by the time she hugs Jeongyeon, it fits the character in the MV. I have watched the cut of the MV only and it lacks that same impact, so it was a good move for a Teaser

It will go down to the wire, the Judges will pick the winner here for SoTY. TWICE are out of the hunt for Artist of the year, but EXO, BTS, IU and Bolbaggan4 have a chance, it's another that will be decided by the judges.

Yea, MNet will be a pushover for their Chinese Sponsors, that's why they have kept going back for 7 years despite protest in South Korea and now In China. They also don't even care about the ratings since they will get paid whether it's a success or a failure

It was because all Daesangs and MAMA is sponsored by the Chinese Company Qoo10 so it was more logical that they would save the big ones for HK. But the game changed when AKB48 and their Producer agreed to participant in MAMA's this year

You are forgetting the death of Kim Joohyuk, there is nothing JYPE could have done to strategize for such an event, Likey was simply not the most appropriate song for anyone to release. Most of twicetagram's sales was done before the accident so there wasn't much affect, JYPE doesn't need to change their approach considering the events that occurred this time around -
It's likely an Award Recording or End of Year one as there was males that walked passed that looked like Idols and Nayeon was talking to someone about being a V Live when all TWICE members and Managers would already know it. Since most of the members were on V Live, the only Music they would have to "protect" is if others were performing at that time

Actor Kim Joo-hyuk died on the same day, Running Man cancelled their Filming, even vareity.com reported about it, Likey just came out at a really bad time as it's a Cheerful song Signal went up against Psy, Jong Shin, Urban Zakapa, Highlight, IKON, Roy Kim, Mamamoo (OST), Bolbbagan4 (OST), The Unnies, Baek Ayeon, the competition was even harder then but it still managed to top Melon for 3 weeks, but couldn't budge Psy until their second week. But I agree with your second part. The charts are always junk at this time as Boy Group stans desperately try to make thier biases relevant with what looks like botting activitiy, it's one of the reasons that there has been calls to change the charts

IG is a platform that people basically upload photos which is what we are seeing in the Teaser Trailer, they are generally locations where photos are taken the most. I think the idea is good, but it is kinda ordinary compared to their previous MVs, so we're hoping for a twist

To me it's obviously based on what a majority of people post to their IGs and twicetagram has been mostly those type of photos.

They are wearing the clothes they wore in the Trailer Teaser and the Leaked filming in Canada, so the photobooks will likely have them

All the pictures that have been released are from the MV, basically no different than what they did previously with Teasers, except IG is being used instead of Twitter. I think JYPE are trying to avoid drowning out OMT's promotions which was probably why that MV was released early on YT and Radio, both count for the Japanese Billboard Charts

I know you're gonna love it as a long time TWICE fan, which is why we can trust in DEFCONN because he's in the same boat. He's on 1N2D and has been supporting TWICE from the start, of course that also makes him biased toward TWICE which is EXACTLY what we want to hear :P
