  1. I thought it was fishy when I saw that it was from Baidu. Most things that come from Chinese sources first usually aren't true. But I gave it the benefit of the doubt since SM made a partnership with Baidu, lol.
  2. So...does that mean that Riley didn't actually collab with Jinbo? Now I'm scared all over again. But I do like some of Kenzie's tracks, like "Kick", so maybe it'll be fine. Hopefully Jinbo still worked on the album and we'll hear something from him!
  3. Also, the Facebook album number now says 16 pictures. So I think it's just a typo of sorts that keeps increasing as more photos are added.
  4. Oh nevermind what I said earlier, seems like the new picture's from another set
  5. I think I would've preferred that! But I think they want to keep us on our toes for days so that's why we were only given one person, lol.
  6. I think this might wrong/misguided. Basically I've been seeing this album on my feed in Facebook and it's basically stating how many pictures they've uploaded. The amount has been wrong for a while. When there were online nine, it said that they'd uploaded eleven, thirteen, etc. I suppose that it's possible that they have uploaded all the pictures and some are private until it's time for them to be seen, though, so there could be fifteen. I'm honestly overkilled at this point lol It's just that I think we've seen all of the sets, and now, for me, it's getting a little uncomfortable seeing so many from the same sets because it's like the people in charge are really trying to make a point and might be trying a little too hard. It'd be a different story if there were like two or three pictures from each set, but we've gotten literally 6 pictures from one whole set. Or maybe I'm being too hard on the SM employees. Maybe I'd feel differently if they weren't being revealed by the hour and were instead shown at one time.
  7. Dear Jesus, ever hour I think to myself, "This is it, no more pictures" and then I refresh f(x)'s site and there's another dot in the bottom right while the page is loading and I just clutch my head and shake it like aaaaaaahhhh
  8. Lol. The only reason I'm familiar with them and pay attention is because I used to watch shows like ABDC and So You Think You Can Dance religiously. So since then I grew enamored with dance and choreography (even though I couldn't even do a 3-step dance move if my life depended on it). Choreography was actually one of the big reasons why I got into f(x)!
  9. Lol, don't feel bad. I didn't know until I looked further into it a few years ago. Yes yes yes~ ReQuest had some awesome choreo. Too bad their choreographer's probably snatched up by YG since she did "Ringa Linga". :< And I guess that's the thing. Because it's not like her choreography was ever bad, so to speak. It just felt like a letdown after knowing what f(x) was already capable of.
  10. Yeah, I was actually fine with Danger overall. And for Hot Summer, if I remember right, it was Geminiz! (Rino and Maryss from Beat Freakz) If I'm wrong, then it was just Rino.
  11. Ugh if he choreographed something for f(x) I would just DIE
  12. Lol. I think it's because Meyer's strengths lie in the Contemporary/Jazz genre, not hip-hop. I've seen her try to do some hip-hoppish stuff, and even that has extreme contemporary overtones. I really appreciate what SM was trying to do by bringing that element in, but it just doesn't work because of two reasons: 1) They don't have the right song for it, and 2) Most of the dance training they have is hip-hop based, and no one really has the training/background to pull it off and stay true to the genre, other than maybe Victoria. I think that a choreographer who does a good job of combining the two worlds is Matt Cady from Fanny Pak. His choreography is quirky and fast-paced, but still has Contemporary and Jazz elements.
  13. Yeah, same here. I remember being slightly disappointed with "Electric Shock" but I got over it, then being pretty bummed with "Rum Pum Pum Pum". It's really sad because I think that on her own, Jillian Meyers is a great dancer and choreographer. Her stuff just doesn't seem to translate to K-pop very well or she's less in her element when working with K-pop.
  14. I dunno...I remember Rino or an f(x) member saying that sometimes the American choreographers would film the choreography and send it to SM, and then SM's choreographers and the groups would learn it that way. Granted, this was said a few years ago, so it could be that they don't use this method very much anymore.
  15. Guys guys guys it feels so clossseeeee Yesterday when I looked up SMTown's Youtube Channel, it said that they were last active 3 weeks ago. Now, this could mean one of two things: 1) They scheduled J-Min's video to publish way ahead of time, or 2) Youtube was slow and didn't update the "last active" area for like a day. I say this because I just checked again and it says that they were last active a day ago! My wishful thinking is hoping that they uploaded f(x)'s teaser and music video~
  16. Started watching the show and realized that the opening "theme song" is one of my favorite House Rulez songs, "Surfing Wave"! Can't say I'm too surprised because a lot of Korean style shows/channels seem to like to use artists like them and Humming Urban Stereo. Either way. Get it, House Rulez~
  17. Yes! I think that the remix had a lot of potential if it were professionally mixed and had an official acappella track. From what I've heard other K-pop remixers say, SM makes it basically impossible to get a clean cut of the vocals from the official tracks. Plus, they never release instrumentals or acappellas.
  18. I was kind of pessimistic about it, myself. I was afraid that if Riley worked on it, he'd give them something totally outside of their original style, the same way "The Boys" was outside of SNSD's style. BUT! It turns out that he's not working on it alone, but alongside Jinbo, an artist and producer known for funky tracks. I really like his style so I have hope again. Some examples of some of his work under the spoiler~ I think it'll be upbeat and funky. Hoping for the best!
  19. Lol, I actually forgot about that one. I had "Nu ABO" and "Pinocchio" in mind, actually. But the one in "Jet" was pretty impressive too! I just want something for her to showcase her skills~
  20. Anyone else hoping that Luna belts a high note this comeback? The crowd always responded so well to that, especially international ones.
  21. Just saw that tweet basically confirming that Jinbo worked on a song for f(x) (not sure if with Riley or alone?). I love Jinbo's style. I want to cry a little.
  22. I'm also curious as to how they got the scoop first. Makes me think that someone tipped them off in order to set off this fiasco.
