well Suzy fans will love having her back i'm sure. Although maybe they are running out of new people. 2014 just started so I'm sure they can work through their guest lists. next thing you know you'll see crayon pop on there. lol they'll prolly want sistar and girls day again. i don't know how the guest works for RM. do they go out weekly/monthly and ask for guests? how far in advance do they know, or do guests make request to SBS/RM staff to get a slot on the show? hmmm

Real Man is available RAW via torrents. You can watch a lot of the action, but clearly a lot will be missing through speech/dialogue. RM changed from the piggybank stages and hit more success during it's new format. It's something they stuck too. The new staff should help bring things to RM. They expanded locations more than in the past. Helicopters/boats/cars. Which I can kinda understand, if they planned for games in various buildings, you can't expect someone to walk there... especially of their popularity level. i'm waiting for the episodes where you can see RM running out of breathe and sweating again, but that will be a while. Jihyo does unfortunately get shafted and nerfed a lot. But I think she gets a lot of love from the moments she does shine. Her current drama right now might backseat her more on RM for a bit until she adjusts I guess? Jihyo doesn't get a lot of attention naturally, she has slipped into 'one of the guys' and it does affect her. It's why another female regular would be a nice addition. There are episodes where she has it easy, which I can only imagine the other members talked it among themselves to 'give her a break' or what not. Jihyo had less focus on HER episode than Kwangsoo's. lol. wow... way to ruin my eyes... for like... ever.... ever....

it would be a little different if kwangsoo was equally like that to everyone... but he's only like that to KJK... Jaesuk interferes and does 'dirty tactics' too, but he does it to EVERYONE. so that's a huge difference for me. Kwangsoo doesn't venture it to others. I still like kwangsoo, but he has been increasingly vexing. there are times still when he's the butt of the jokes, but that isn't as frequent. with Sistar's rising status, i think we can expect to see her Bora in the future. Which RM member would be the first to leave? iunno... I don't think anyone doubts Gary's abilities as a RM. All the males are fairly strong and athletic, and gotten the experience of the games. I like Monday Couple as much as the next person, especially when it was a bit more one-sided and felt more 'genuine'. lol. If you had to really guess, I think Gary, KJK and Jaesuk are the popular guys for female guests to 'want' to team up with, not necessary who they will team up with. We got to see SpartAce of KJK and Jihyo during the fan-submitted show, which I don't mind that team. I think it's the strongest two-person combination of the RM cast, even more so than Jaesuk-KJK (which doesn't happen very often at all). Suk Jin needs new pairing options... or needs to work out a bit more, lately he's either with kwangsoo or jaesuk... now there is a lot of love for Easy Brothers, but he goes a bit too much on his slapstick and helpless-ness. lol. and often with the coupling games... this is when i do wish there was a 2nd female cast member. it would toss up a new approach on love-lines, and maybe fix out the whole 'one guy be the girl' thing.

oh man, those jessica photos.... that is one heck of a way to start a morning... lol. not disappointed at all... and i'm always totally okay seeing those Soup photos... she is looking so classy......... and fine.........

I don't think claiming that RM is the action oriented variety is crazy. It's how the PDs described it to be. I don't think RM started the race, but that was their core concept. RM just use velcro tags and made a chase game out of it. The original concept was members get locked into a building for 24 hours or whatever and winner leaves and loser works, then they changed formats. I don't doubt that IC is or can be physical demanding... like I said the only 2 episodes I saw were the Sunny one, and they didn't do much on that show. So that was my example to draw from. And they also mad the funny parody of Big Bang's Haru Haru. When I first saw that, i put IC into the realm of a show like Gag Concert maybe. If I had started IC way back or so, I think it'd be different. There is a lot of dialogue in IC too that I think is lost in translation. Idioms, or jokes of using formal speech vs informal or anything like that would be lost to the international viewer. Again, i'm not trying to put down IC or say it's a bad show. from my take, I like RM more and the cast more. The eye candy is better. RM has slow episodes where isn't much either. I do like RM that most of the time they're moving or being active. Even if it's just walking around doing a scavenger hunt. I think a lot of the cast members have gotten better at running than they did 3 years ago honestly. Kwangsoo has lately really really really overdone his antics... i know his character is the betrayal character... but he has gotten slightly carried away sometimes with his interference and what not. I know he's trying to be funny, and he and KJK get along off camera, but it seems a bit much sometimes. KJK is a bigger sport than we give him credit for, people always mess or interrupt him a bit. lol. song jihyo is unique. I don't think she was that popular or big at the start. She was the villain girl in goong right? and some males may remember she had some racy scenes in that period movie. i think helped her out a bit in popularity. She's not a Kim Tae Hee or Ha Ji won, but she's something. finding a good female guest is rather hard at times. I think some have done alright. Go Ara was suprisingly good. Moon Geun young was witty at times and cute, but she didn't try to compete directly with Jihyo. at least the female guests are ambitious and want to try, i would love to see Bora get a legit episode where she can use her athletic skill set. Before took off the scene, I think Hara was viewed the athletic gal before it disappeared. I think Lee Hyori would be a good guest, she doesn't understand boundaries and has no limits. Although not sure if married life has tamed that out of her or not. she did go pretty all out in episode 1 though. lol. A great variety reality show I think no one talks about is Real Men. No one subs that, and no idol guy is in it so no one regularly subs it. But I like the show and it's attempt to showcase the military life. Having some guys spend a week with the unit. Sam has lost some weight but he isn't exactly gonna be an Australian commando anytime soon, but I think it's the top slot of a reality show at the moment. I guess it's different since I been in the Army before, so it's interesting for me to compare how a volunteer service like mine was compares to the lifestyle of a conscript army.

IC as i mentioned popular in Korea, and more so than Running Man. IC started in 2005 as well, and now has build up around 360 episodes or so (oh yeah, google search! lol). They haven't changed cast members except adding Gil later in 2009. So before the hallyu wave, IC was already getting their stuff out. RM came out about the popularity of hallyu, first in 2010. Pervious PD of RM did say he wasn't intending that RM be a competitor of IC, as IC was the impassible variety show. IC did spawn out inspirations i'm sure for 1N2D and RM. Dramafever only starts IC from 2013 I think. RM is the only variety I watch regularly, other than that I watch dramas regularly. IC has all comedians in their host line-up. I don't watch enough of IC at all to know. I watched the two recent Sunny episodes, about the lonely friend or what not. It wasn't particular entertaining for me. It's not to be insulting or a put down to IC. I just don't watch it or follow it. I don't know as much of the cast except that they most have MC other shows before. I remember Hyungdon as Taeyeon's husband from WGM. I keep running man as my no. 1 variety as Invincible Youth is no more. WGM occasionally excites but more often than not is a bit lame, especially after season 1 of Romantic and Idol was more exciting. I don't know how to gauge the interactions of the RM cast. They to me all seem very close and are good friends. I know Kim Jong Kook sung at Jaesuk's wedding, I think KJK and Kwangsoo hang out regularly and work out together, Haha+Gary+KJK were in Star Theater. That one time Jihyo showed up to a LeeSsang concert and got on stage with Gary I think really push that heavy flavor towards Monday Couple. So I don't question they are good peeps and friendly. I think they interact well. IC does have the cast insulting each other more often, and bantering but they had nearly 8 years of being with each other to account for that. Although if I had to choose which cast is more attractive, i'd prolly go with RM's cast. lol. IC i'm told goes through a variety of concepts and is rather a good blend of healthy unscripted stuff. Running man has it's lower moments, repetitiveness, and sometimes depending on the guest does affect how 'fun' the show will be. But overall I do enjoy the activeness of the show. The constant movement, the physical activities. Everyone on the show seems to workout regularly and are all pretty athletic. Although I can't tell if Suk-jin is seriously like that, or if he nerfs himself for the character. Otherwise the camera crew have gotten very used to running, the regular cast are quite adapted to physical demands of the show. For me that was kind of exciting. I think it also puts maybe a sort of restriction on the guests a bit, and ensuring guests are willing/able to do the physical stuff, and with idols guesting regularly it does garner quick attention from fans. Then again it's hard to compare variety shows I guess since none are really apples to apples. Ppl compared barefoot friends to RM too but they weren't the same show either. looking forward to the next episode.

that's looking pretty cute there... although how did it happen that an older girl is riding a younger one? lol.. been around a bit. thought I drop by and say hi. I'm quite a girl's day fan remembering the debut of 'nothing last forever' and minah's appearance on 'Oh My School'. Enjoyed them a lot since 'twinkle twinkle' came out. they've really been riding an upward wave since their bubble pop days of 'twinkle twinkle' and 'hug me once'. good stuff.

I figure hat most of the travel episodes of RM, there is a good amount of request and sponsorship, as they provide that spark of advertisement. Running Man is my one variety show that I follow and my first to really stay into. I never got into Infinity Challenge, Which I know is a long running variety show, and has a good deal of various concept changes and all. I pick up a few episodes here and there. I prolly caught the few of the lower end of the fun spectrum. Just like how I didn't watch all of Family Outing or 1N2D. So I can't compare RM to anything else at the moment. I'm sure if someone in Korea has been watching TV for some time, RM won't seem too original. The cast of RM is really nice. They are a bit locked into their characters, and for some it's harder to change the characters. Kim Jong Kook for example, I don't think will be able to change his character. I mean he's clearly strong and muscle buff compared to the other cast members so that is harder for him break out of. otherwise it will be too obvious that he is downplaying his strength. The members, it's easy for them to look for a new character. I still enjoy RM quite a bit. It has its down moments.But for the most part, it's an enjoyable show. The cast is still pretty close knit and fetch. Monday Couple had some cute moments, A few force moments, but for the most part they seem cute. Gary is rather a smooth operator so it works out.

CN Blue?! hehe how many times has yonghwa been on RM now? he was there before the format change too right? didn't he play the piggy bank game once? Episode 184 was entertaining. The guests were pretty popular at the moment and that helped a bit. Although in terms of 'all-stars' i felt the team was a little lacking. The games were fun, and the hockey was nice, it definitely added a bigger team element to name-tag ripping. I still feel a bit bummed about KJK not being on the RM team since he's a regular RM member. I couldn't figure if it was more like KJK to assist and balance the all-stars. Or the All-stars get KJK to give them a chance to win. ep 185 up next. 15 more and we'll hit 200... I can't believe it's been that long. Granted infinity Challenge and Gag Concert have both been running forever almost 400 episodes for IC and about 600+ for GC. RM definitely has the bounds to make itself and advance. It's already a household name it seems. I don't know if will ever hit the 300 make. But all I can say is the writers did make up for the lackluster of 183 with ep 184. So good things seem on the horizon.

Sunny I personally don't think has gotten any less or more lines than in the past, if anything I think Jessica has gotten less over time. But that's just my perception, I haven't sat and measure or gauged that out. Despite being an 89er, Sunny still has plenty of bubble pop in her, so much that'd you think she'd be at home in a group like A-Pink or Crayon Pop. So i've somehow scoured the internet and completed the download of all 183 episodes of RM. It will be hard to find time to watch the older episodes and get the point where i've seen them all. lol. the fortune telling, is a bit little lame for us i guess since we or I don't at least do that kind of thing here. I'm too old even for new year money. lol. It's like when you see it on WGM... i mean every couple basically done one, and if anything this/that is the point to see if their is any comedic moments that can be made by the couple's doing. (yes, sad tale for YJS and HaHa, i'm sure they're used to it). episode 184 looks fun, but it looks unfortunate that Kim Jong Kook wont' be on the RM team! He's in yellow! awww. that's a bummer. I was hoping for a nice geniune RM vs XXX team. That lost to the Jungle Team was so unfortunate. Even so, the games games shows are easy to make entertaining. but definitely hoping for a 200th episode. but this is definitely the kind of episode that must be fun to show up to work for.

NP! yup yup.. .it's the same thing Megan Fox has with her thumb, only difference is for Sunny, it's on both hands. it's differently abnormal, not too rare, unusual but not uncommon. In all truthfulness really, that puts a lot of kudos for Sunny to still be around doing that. I know Megan Fox says she's embarrassed by her thumb, or conscious of it. Sunny just lets it go. Which I'm so surprise considering the social and outer image that drives modern Korean society. i mean companies will pay to fix teeth, eyes, noses, ears, chins, etc... if they didn't find it to their liking, i guess they couldn't fix thumbs... so a second kudos for SM for bringing her out even with that. They had original plenty of other gals they could have placed instead of her. It's not to say I don't mind it at all, it makes her unique. I was just always so surprised about it just given the image-driven society of Korean.

In all my years of loving SNSD, I was not aware of this. Then again I sort of tune out a lot of the hate either way. lol. I think for jessica you have to check out her older stuff. but yeah, Jessica's best friend is Park Min-Young, we remember that from Girls Go To School during the Jessica episode, i think they were learning to cook in that one... one of the fastest ways i think someone causal will enjoy jessica is if you just show pictures of her. at least for guys. they find nearly all girl group members attractive so that's so easy. Jessica and her bits of english, in Hello Baby, and definitely in Factory Girl. "I want a burrito, nacho cheese, and to go a steak house". That and i adore jessica's love of flats over heels. lol. but appreciating jessica is most easier done through another person. Like watching the Idol Army with 2PM, Jay's song 'For when I seduce Jessica'... or watch her lose horribly to Narasha in that wrestling. Jessica isn't frequent on shows or variety charm really. She's not easily to showcase to someone new like you could with Taeyeon or Tiffany.
