that's insanely impressive. non-koreans can't join those cafes though right? this weekend was basically my social media feed showing people in LA for Big Bang, or for Mamamoo... and here I am in texas... that was so nice to see guys... so nice... fan meeting with mamamoo, just chilling and having fun... darnit!!!

I didn't want it to seem that we all hate him. I just think he does stupid shiz. Though you make a good point about how it's 'twenty again' and his acting can be like that of 20 year old. Time and time again, his assistant has said he's not like himself and what not. But also at the same time, the two leads were never '20' together before either. They were 18 when they last saw each other right? His actions in his teen days towards her are different than how he is now. He likes her, something the viewers all know. He liked her then, he likes her now. Back then, he didn't know what to do and it showed that he was encasing upon that 'friendzone'. Then she left and he never got a chance to tell her. Now she's back, and he doesn't know what to do. I guess you can say when he was 18, he was more fearless? Now, he's successful but there's some insecurity he has towards her that he can't handle. One i'm sure is her being 'married', but there something else. So, he is kinda annoying in his actions. He's a good guy, but just not bright. He's aware of his actions/choices and chooses poorly. LOL. I'm sure the writer wanted him to come off looking like an ass, cuz he just goes 'Dumb Dumb' when she's around. (LOL) Nora picks up more lively and more like her younger self. finishing the last two episodes, now the husband is about to go circle-jerk mode it seems... *sigh* drama going good and enjoyable thus far! yay

If only you knew how mean she really is... You'd know that I'm not allowed to wear hoop earrings, right? Yeah! Two years ago she told me hoops earrings were *her* thing and I wasn't allowed to wear them anymore. And then for Hannakuh my parents got this pair of really expensive white gold hoops and I had to pretend like I didn't even like them and... it was so sad. And you know she cheats on Aaron? Yes, every Thursday he thinks she's doing SAT prep but really she's hooking up with Shane Oman in the projection room above the auditorium! I never told anybody that because I am such a good friend! lol, had to. recognized the scene... anyways... They should prolly come out later. All the older PlayMnet videos had english subs as CC on their channel. I'd give their translator sometime. though it's still quite enjoyable without the subs. lol they were aca-awesome... love it!

Dang, Wendy looking aca-amazing and sounding it too... wait.. is that Boom?! I mean I remember watching him before he went to the army and how he was all up on my girl Sunny, and then saw him in IY2 after the weight loss, but wow, he looks nice. No lie... and back to Wendy... I'm a fan of girl groups, which stem back from Invincible Youth days and just late to the Red Velvet train. I'm a long-time Sone too, and remembered when Red Velvet debut and everyone was excited. I was in the corner whining like 'I can't keep up with all these new groups, can't we go back to 2009?!' lol. I'd caved in. That and i've made more time at work and home to follow Kpop a little more. Summer 2015 has been great for me with kpop. anyways just taking in the fun. so hope you guys are nice. Just checkin, Red Velvet is short right? Like they must be the 3rd shortest group behind Tiny-G and Browned Eye Girls. I just noticed it because I was watching Weekly Idol, and Wendy's shoes look an obvious attempt to add centimeters to her height, even then she only matched like irene's height...and Taeyeon's ex-husband, he's only 5'8, but he had a good several inches over them. It wasn't like with AoA where he was only 1-3 inches taller than them, he liked towered over red velvet. maybe it's just me.

Definitely strike while the iron's hot. It's girl group time! (though it kinda is all the time, but this summer more so). They're working hard and it's tiring, but i'm sure the girls of Mamamoo are enjoying it. one of those 'tired, but a good tired' type of things. Man they are a busy. good and bad. overall just have to assume their busy schedule is a good thing for now. The fall seems slated for IU's return and the magical Summer for girl groups will be over! So it's exiting so far. speaking of physical sales, finding a copy of Mamamoo to buy online last night was rather difficult. lol. So i'll have to wait for another time, could only get in my Apink, AoA and Red Velvet albums. I didn't want to bounce too many different sellers for the album because of shipping costs =(. Lots of videos I have to catch up on, this thread moved like 3-4 pages since I was here last, sometime yesterday it seems... i guess nobody saw my request to slow down. lol.

i dont know how to ask this any nicer, but please slow down guys. i only have so many free time a day to watch all these videos and links and you guys aren't helping. lol you click on one link, watch one video, and all sudden suggest videos, and click another.. and before you now it it's 2 hours past bed time... the dangers of a group forum.. you guys are pure evil bringing in that mamamoo goodies.

It seems like Reply 1997 did it for so many people... I know i was into Apink's music on their debut, and I bought the signed album when the fanclubs were doing it, but didn't know the members then. The problem of putting songs on the ipod and hitting shuffle i guess. lol. I think Reply 1997 did it for me. Love Eunji. It's good that she's gain some back. She looks great, and always in love with her hair... like how did she convince her company to keep it the same for so long. i'm a Sunshiner and love Eunji... but sunny and chorong supposedly got a thing going on, which prolly happened after Tiffany be stealing Hyomin and Bora away from Sunny, girl group relationships seem complicated. I don't see Sooyoung and Eunji as too familar/similar, i'd have to watch more closely. While I find sooyoung is soshi's best actor... I feel Eunji has the slight edge, though reply 97 seems like her perfect role, she's been quite flexible since. Though i'd put both as A-rated idol actresses, along with Uee, Yewon. B-rated is like IU. (you guys can feel the rest as you please =P). You da real MVP... **gives game ball**

yay! eunji on TV again, in a lead role (not to say i didn't enjoy her in 'that winter the wind blows', i liked that drama but not for her. but her character was good there too). And trot lovers was good too, just saying too much eunji can never really be a bad thing... or can it... hmmm is it just me, or did she seem chunkier in Reply 1997, and almost made her look more normal-ish than idol-ish body. i could have been imagining that. only mention it because that was the other time she was in a school uniform for a good chunk of a drama. but anyways, looking forward to the drama!

'Steady rise to fame'?!?!? I was only watching Youtube videos only last week, on mamamoo specifically , and AoA, and Gfriend, and red velvet,(so okay, when i'm at work, i don't always do work, but their fault they gave me an office and internet). So i was like, this is cool. Darn, missed their promotion stage, but thank goodness there's youtube. Watching Weekly Idol thinking these guys are fun. All sudden this week they hitting the charts. and i'm like WTF? I guess because I'm to the game late it all feels so sudden, it was an interesting surprise, but very welcomed. Subyung is total perfection! Thanks! It'll do for now, but if Sunny goes all out on Chorong, subyung will prolly die. Your sig is Apink LUV dance! or well part of the transition anyways. lol.

First got a glance at Mamamoo from this youtube video of girl groups doing other girl group dances. call me crazy, i just think everyone should get along in kpop and i enjoy those kind of videos. Mamamoo popped up, and then was back stage with Apink, browse through their music, definitely a fan. Trying to stay informed and learning about them, Weekly Idol was rather helpful with that. Definitely enjoying this group, my 'research' (aka google) found that they were 2014 Rookies of the Year (Red Velvet as well, so many different people giving out awards, so it's not definitive, but let's just say Co-RoY 2014 Mamamoo and Red Velvet). it's been fun, and entertaining. i'm gonna just lurk around to steal gifs and photos you peeps post. =P

whoa this thread is huge!  i played saxophone so all this stuff is above me...  though i am curious about something, it may seem stupid though, but is it hard to sing different genres? I mean like Wayne Brady can do various styles for the skits on Who's Line Is It Anyways, but do people normally default into a certain style/genre? He's an entertainer and always fun.    Like why do all the country guys, like Josh Turner, Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan sound like they do. Well Josh Turner talks with that deep voice, As a southern boy I love country music, but most of the male singers kinda sound the same. Do they just all have the kinda drawl/twang in their singing? I mean in the interviews, they don't all talk southern.     anyways. thanks. keep up the great work. you guys seem fetch. 

tVN is content leader! LOL. I think Minsoo and Naeun (forgot her name in drama) for Ho No Ra to she what she didn't have with Minsoo's dad. Possibly part of watching Minsoo grow up too, that kind of stuff. lol

I'm glad I'm not the only one who see this, it's weird and disheartening. We understand why the husband is an ass, but why is Minsoo such an ass? We understand teenage rebellious years, but we haven't seen anything that would explain his behavior towards his Mom. Whereas he tries to be smooth as skill with Naeun (although Naeun is all sorts of pretty and cute, so I mean that's understandable)... but why is he like that to his mum? I'm sure that's in episodes to come. I wonder if it's a product of the male-dominated society thing that it appears this way. Picked up the drama as it was the replacement on tVN for Oh My Ghostess. This drama is an awkward ride on the feels bus. i'm all the way caught up on DF to epi 6. Ha No Ra and her husband, I just don't understand. IMHO, the husband is just a coward and a dick who can't admit to being an actual ass. From the episodes so far, it seems like he never liked No Ra, just wanted to get some loving, got a girl pregnant and was too much of a wuss to be honest about. And i'm not sure if it ever been mentioned that they're only together because of Minsoo. I mean it's clear of that, in the present, but I mean in the past when she left school and Korea to go with him. Like correct me if I'm wrong. The way the husband acts, talks, etc, I don't think he ever liked or loved Ha No Ra. that romantic scene in episode 1, he was just being a player to get some sex. I just feel that way. He appears to be okay with Minsoo, like he's glad to have a kid, but bummed he had to keep the mom. Dramas tend to poke-fun at their society, so I don't know if it's a commonplace practice in Korea or not. Korea does have a patriarchal society, and I don't think they express the 'i love you, son' like they do in the US. So I can't really tell if the husband loves his son or not... err i mean he does obviously cuz it's his kid, but like, part of me wonders why hadn't he just told her to get an abortion? further into the drama, I expect Ha No Ra to just drop the bomb on her husband, and just be like 'i regret having minsoo with you', 'i regret meeting you'... something along the lines where she blames the husband. She's a mom, so really she can't regret Minsoo because that maternal shiz is legit, and beyond definition, but as an audience, going with No Ra you can tell, that as she realizes the life and the world she missed out on. Other than that, enjoying the drama. I thought it was going to be a big comical drama, but it's more of a 'feels' drama, still fun and looking forward to the next episode.
