Another day, yet another ridiculous Crayon Pop scandal. Sometimes I wonder if there's a evil cabal of haters trying to pull the girls down at every opportunity, or conversely, that Crayon Pop's CEO is a genius mastermind who knows how to play the media like a fiddle and plants these non-troversies just to keep the girls in the public eye.

Some of those aren't pouts, they're "kissy faces".

If you watch this long enough you'll get hypnotized by it.

Not that I would ever want her to chop off her beautiful hair, but I think Gummi could actually pull off that look. Way looks like a little kid trying on her mother's clothes. They looked similar in those blonde "Marilyn Monroe" wigs, though those ones didn't look good on any of them.

She also missed her cue during the introductions before "Saturday Night" because she busy waving at people. Just from a practical standpoint the helmets are probably going to be around for a while. It takes quite a bit of work to get their hair looking right with the helmets on, and when they come off their hair needs to be adjusted again or it looks weird. Maybe for a longer show that has costume changes it would work, but for a 16-minute show I suspect they'll keep them on throughout, or eventually leave them off entirely once 3Bar is just one hit among many.

The only group I follow these days is Crayon Pop, Gummi and those rascal twins are my biases. Since I'm old enough to be Gummi's dad, I used to follow older J-Pop like Chisato Moritaka, Pink Lady (Kei was my bias), the Candies (Ran was my bias), and the Japanese hits of Chinese singer Teresa Teng (RIP). Mostly I like Western music of the '60s and '70s, and Asian music from the '70s and '80s.

When I first discovered them back in September with the global 3Bar video, I guessed they were no older than 15-16, despite ChoA's ehrm, "biceps".

Way, it's 72 degrees F here in Los Angeles, there's a Snickers in the fridge and I make a pretty good homemade pizza, you're welcome to drop by...

Except when she's touching Mengu's fats. ^_^ I'm glad they're having a rest. These past few months must have been insane for the girls and Chrome.

Hi and thanks! Former amateur musician here (I'm old and don't have the strength/coordination anymore), but a music engineer by trade (now retired). I still live in Los Angeles. :-) Looks like the handsign controversy backfired on the haterz, lots of support coming in for CP.

The February comeback link above mentions the album will include "a ballad" (seemingly "I'm Beautiful", although it's not named), and in 2014 the girls hope to branch out into "performing arts and drama". This video seems to be a teaser for a variety program to air on January 13th that includes CP:

LOL!! It's her handsign "E" for "Ellin". The haters are really grasping at straws. This is so over the top that hopefully this will show once and for all how ridiculous all the hate directed at CP is. I suppose when she pointed at Way's mouth during that short interview that was some sort of code too, besides the obvious "Way needs a pizza". Btw, long time lurker here. Gummi is my bias.
