What was it?

Tzuyu has become my absolute ultimate kpop bias since Sixteen, and I am sure I will be following her for a long time. I feel like an older sis watching Tzuyu maturing and growing up. If Twice continues doing well I can see them lasting for 10 years, but Tzuyu will only be 28y.o then and be well into a thriving career outside of the group. But that's so far from the future, I will just focus on the present and enjoy the path with Tzuyu. cheesy I know, have some Tzuyu goodness instead ' so fluffy <3

Even though i don't post on OH anymore, I do like following this thread and reading everyone's opinions. Glad we chewies are in this altogether. This is basically all Chewies no matter what situation Just like Tzuyu's motto "Effort does not betray you", I believe our girl will get her shine sooner or later. She is able to stand out with less than 10 secs of lines/little screentime in each Twice comeback. but I do think that JYPE is presently not thinking of her interest but restraining her prospects, rather, they have their favorites and preferred center to push over. Tzuyu does need to be proactive in grabbing opportunities but I see that she is still young and unsure of herself. She has the drive to better herself tho, is always practicing her solo lines no matter how short they are over and over again (from anecdotes of the members themselves hearing her singing her lines anytime she can). If that doesn't show her drive for self-improvement then I don't know what else. That shows Tzuyu has ambitions and once she gains the maturity+confidence she will get her dues.

I still love Tzuyu sfm, but I can't say the same for Twice. Since debut I have been following Tzuyu only and making myself care for Twice songs, but I am getting mad at how shafted Tzuyu is. Specially since TT, I am pissed off at JYPE slighting the girl. I tried writing the reasons why but it came out as a negative rant so I will keep that. I will be waiting for the time Tzuyu gets her deserved attention/spotlight, until then #chewyforever. Tzuyu's face at her little parts but girl shines no matter what/when/how

I teared up with Tzuyu when she started crying T_T you could tell that she was trying to hold herself back from the emotions when the MC asked her if she thought of her mom when she was eating the food She looked really happy when she was eating it and Jungyeon saying that when Tzuyu was eating she said she was reminded of her mom, the homesickness really hit her hard. Tzuyu always put on a strong facade, refusing to cry in public and the way she carries herself maturely in public can make you overlook the fact that she is still a kid. Seeing her breakdown this moment makes me want to protect her and wish her all the happiness in the world after everything she has been through :') Tzuyu's precious smile <33

True. I hope that Tzuyu's Korean will have improved well enough for her to solo any TV gig. I think the amount of individual activities she gets now is good enough, and in a way I'm glad she is "restrained" by JYPE because I think at this point Tzuyu can't handle any more workload. On top of these activities she still has to go to school, because we know how dedicated our girl is, and she gets tired easily and lacks sleep she sleeps as much as she can. Maybe in two years at the least, by the time she has graduated high school, we will be seeing her a lot more. By that time I think she can MC one of those music programs (maybe Inkigayo), or start taking small acting roles. Though I do want to see Tzuyu as a regular in a variety show, not just one-time guesting on any varieties. I thought that Food Princess show was a good start for it but too bad it doesn't seem that promising, here I'm hoping for a better opportunity

Same I'm annoyed at the Onces and other member stans always complaining whenever Tzuyu gets a gig. That she is exclusively being pushed by JYPE when it's the PDs/CF companies/the public that wants her. Considering the little lines she gets in Twice songs and the fact that she is either at the corner or the back of their dance formation does not indicate that Tzuyu gets any special treatment than the other members. On the other hand it's quite obvious who are the favored ones by management (Nayeon, Sana, Mina). If JYPE could they would rather push their center girl Nayeon, or someone like Sana who is more fluent in Korean to all these variety appearances. But Tzuyu is more in demand and bring in attention as shown in how she always trend on portal sites whenever she makes appearances on TV. Plus it's the CF companies that choose her to be featured more prominently on their group CFs, not JYPE. Not her fault she she is the one getting all these invites from PDs that's why were seeing a lot of Tzuyu+member pairing in varieties, because it's a package deal, but it's also because Tzuyu is still not good with the language so JYPE will always make sure to send her out with a Korean member. I like Tzuyu being paired with Jungyeon the most after seeing them on Please Take Care of My Fridge, just the way how Jungyeon takes care of the maknae fills me with lots of feels.

I also think it's a one-time thing from the girls coz I remember them saying that the cast isn't fixed and depending on who win/loses there will be changes. But seeing how negative the reviews are towards the live show the PD needs to reconsider changing the format of how the competition is done. It's such a shame that they gathered a promising cast of female idols and let it be wasted like this. We need female-centric idol shows like Invincible Youth, Heroes etc. They should have made it like those mukbang shows that have the girls in their natural state eating and interacting with each other, without panelists and annoying MCs pestering them on how to eat. And then follow like what MBC's My Little TV does by letting the viewers on the stream vote to decide who they thought they did the best.

Yeah it was long, the show went on for like 4hours with the majority being the MCs talking pointlessly. Whenever they tried to have a talk with Tzuyu when she was eating it seemed like she was about to choke on her food. How do they expect the girls to eat well when they're bothered to talk, the show's format needs a revamp. I could tell Tzuyu & Dahyun were nervous, having a group of people staring at you and no peace eating when the MCs bother you to talk doesn't make for a good atmosphere for eating. That's why I've always been bothered by the eating habits Koreans display on variety shows, they chomp on their food so quickly and loud with their mouth open. The way Tzuyu was eating was so regal and proper, like a true princess I'm glad she told them off that you have to enjoy your food while eating no matter what speed.

For the real competition, the show hasn't revealed the rules or guidelines on how the competition will be done except that is a 1vs 1 online voting battle. I came across this comment of her looking like one on that Twice/Tzuyu NB article, it made me google the animal for comparisons and she really does look like one. Dark blue hair Tzuyu is a legend, the mysterious color that changed under different lightning She looks very elegant classy when it looked dark, sometimes when her hair was green she looked like a mermaid, or other times like a real life fairy! I didn't think I would miss her brown hair seeing these IGBAS performances. At Music Bank she really looks amazing, with that wavy hair even the cameraman couldn't resist her lol. I think Tzuyu could pull off any hair color, I kinda anticipate the day she will dye her hair blond Also, the c-netz that are blindly hating her are basically like the OH trolls/haters here but x10 because of the Chinese population, they are just bandwagon haters. They are so pathetic, it angered me seeing how they treat Tzuyu but they are really nothing more than annoying pests that think they can make a difference. If they are like this every time Tzuyu keeps getting these opportunities, imagine how much sleep they lose over trying everything to drag her down. Poor their health.
