I hope YG won't play the "they're better than variety shows" card with them like he did with 2NE1, it really hurt their fanbase (which was mostly conquered with 2NE1TV to begin with)

Katie Kim looks actually pretty after her makeover and she's obviously vocally talented, I just don't see her being a dancer. Maybe I'm wrong (since Eunbi was pretty much the same and learned it) but let's wait and see. I just don't want any members dragging the group down performance-wise.

1. Same 2. Nah, they used to be the pits but now it's more of a hit and miss situation, which happens with any group really. 2NE1 had some AMAZING outfits for their CRUSH promotions. 3. I guess, but tbh everyone outside of the fanbase actually loved Jisoo's teasers. It's just that it wasn't surprised for us. 4. Manager and promotion team are different teams. Managers take care of their day to day needs and schedules, go with them to places and so on. Promotion It's probably an YG department, and apart form everything before we started to get the recent teasers, they're not doing bad. YG is just being careful not to throw everything at the public at once, 'cause back in 2012/2013 he tried that and people started to complain.

haven't other actresses had problems with that too though? I remember one getting bashed but I think it was from appearing with iKON. Jisoo had a bit of that too because of that commercial but it didn't stick, thank god. I'm sorry but fangirls are the pits

of course they do, I myself started as a vip. But from observing the k-pop community so long It's undeniable that the more popular the idol (especially male), the more crazy fans they'll have. GD & EXO take the cake in that department, really.

I think one week or even shortly after the last member YG will start to tease the debut itself, more frequently (like group teasers one day, mv teaser a couple days after...)

Rosie is most likely next. Assuming she's the last member, do you guys think YG would wait another week to reveal group teasers and name or just release it shortly after her teaser?

there aren't enough weeks to reveal 7 members until july 7.

These all sound like a reach. Sure could be 7 and I'd love that like the majority of people here, but it IS just as unlikely as 5, 6 or 8 at this point. All we can kinda predict is Jennie, Jisoo, Rosie and Lisa being in.

Minzy lipsynched once. I think it was an I Love You performance, if I'm not mistaken. But honestly she didn't even try to fake it, they played her studio vocals. I also think it was when her grandma died or something like that? And yeah I just watched a couple of Black performances, she did fine, a bit shy but her voice was stable. When you think about it, the only thing negative about Jennie's abilities so far was her english rapping in those practice videos (It didn't help that the audio was super low quality too). Her Korean rap in Special is great and the singing in GG Be too. If she worked on her pronunciation she's gonna be one of the best english rappers in k-pop.

it was a legit question, haven't seen more than like 2 performances of each yeah I love this about YG. for 2NE1 I only remember Minzy lipsynching once when she was very sick and the other members still sang live.
