Hmmm still sketchy to me....like JYP cancelled his contract and he himself admitted to the allegations. If the bullying was not true, he wouldn't have admitted to anything if he knows deep down in his heart that he did nothing wrong cuz the truth will come out eventually.

Exactly. They filmed it long ago. Who thought yohan or eunsang will be this popular?

I believe the one who has huge hype at that time was only junho and probably jungmo.

Did they film it before the release of Xi-ma? Cuz from season 2 I think Daehwi based his decision from the Nayana performance vid that's why alot of the ending fairies where with him. If the filming was done after Xi-ma, it's not really that hard to guess which trainees will break out just basing it from the popularity of their solo vids. I also think dongpyo has really good instincts which he used to his advantage. He used this for trainees such as eunsang and yohan who doesn't seem like they will hit big at first. But honestly...it's easy to see that eunsang will become popular because even I felt it even before ep. 1 came out. 

lol the boss team was actually one of the best performances of the night apparently tho so in the end dongpyo won. the fact that they split the teams so unevenly and hyungjun, mingyu and jungmo ended up in 7th sense was actually a blessing

True dongpyo indeed got lucky with the sudden split. And there is also the fact that dongpyo needed to choose like 12 trainees so he was able to choose alot of the popular, handsome and talented guys. When they suddenly needed to split he could have easily filtered everyone in his head and took with him the most talented and somehow popular ones in his pool which shows why the split was so uneven. He basically let go of the guys that where only chosen based on looks or popularity, hence avoiding the Daehwi situation. 

Why do they keep making avengers??? Dont they learn anything from the previous seasons? Also is steven kim getting a storyline? Did not see that coming

LOL having popular guys in one team is not a good idea if majority of them lack in the talent dept. I still remember the "Avengers" team from season 2 and it was a laughing stock honestly. They should have learned from Minhyun.

I didn't understand this. S1 did better than PD48 but PDX (so far) seems to be doing better than S2.

The main reason why Produce X is getting higher viewers than S2 is because of S2 hype (W1). However, in terms of being successful and iconic on its own, S2 wins by miles. S2 was so viral that it was crazy. Produce X needs to pull a Jihoon viral soon or else it will be fully dependent on S2 hype which could easily die down depending on how interesting the next eps will be. 

MNET really wants Eunsang to be in the final group it's so obvious  . For once...me and MNET are on the same boat. Korea seems to be in love with him too.

Honestly... the most pitiful are classes C and D. I'd actually be happy if I was in X since past seasons show that aside from A...the lowest class gets the most screen time.

I think that won't really blow up unless he was there during the time of the assault or he participated in drug use. There is no problem with an adult going to a club or else 90% of Korean men will be at fault. 

Seobin getting kicked out is such a waste cuz he is pretty much 70% locked in for the final group. However, I think it's for the best because imagine the amount of damage his past will make to the final group once it was uncovered after he won.

I think yohan can do it, but I want mingyu and junho to be in a nice and easy rank like 7th 8th so the talent stans don’t give them a hard time lol

I don't think Yohan has that center vibe. If Mnet knows that, they will do anything to find a suitable trainee for center and shower this trainee with good edits and exposure. This is why Daniel had so many good edits from Mnet and it just so happens that Daniel was charming and talented enough to go viral. 

Before ep. 1 of P101 season 2 even came out, I had a huge feeling that Kang Daniel will make it in the final line up and I was right. This time, I have the same exact feeling with Lee Eunsang. I don't really know why, but he gives me the exact same hunch as what I got with Daniel even before ep. 1 came out which is weird since they don't have the same vibe and there are other trainees better than him. I have this huge feeling that Lee Eunsang will surely make his way to the final lineup.

Honestly, when YG brought back Jaehyuk and Seunghun...I had a gut feeling that he will place one of them in the final group. I can also understand why he chose Jaehyuk over Seunghun. Clearly YG knew that the group already has sufficient amount of vocalists and adding Seunghun would just over do it. Jaehyuk has great potentials and that boy is VERY eye catching. I don't think YG placed him in the group for his talent, because the other trainees are waaaay more talented that he is. However, he was placed because of the fact that he has a really unique charm to him (basically a rising stan attractor). More than questioning Jaehyuk, I actually question Junghwan more since I feel like Mashiho would have been a better alternative. My biggest bet for the final member is Hyunsuk. There is no way they wouldn't include him in there.

Question...NCT 127 didn't perform on music bank today? Are we only getting 1 week of music shows?

So is it really risky with Lay participating in the MV and the mandarin version with THAAD going on? I'm sorry for asking. I'm just a fan of EXO's music for the most part and really unaware of the impact of the THAAD situation regarding Chinese artists. I know that WJSN didnt have their Chinese members coming back, but what exactly is the "risk" regarding them

As I have noticed, not all Chinese members from all groups are affected since groups such as Seventeen and NCT have Chinese members who still get to promote. However, I think the risk is on Chinese members who are actually "active" in the Chinese market or have some kind of career there? They might get on the bad side of China and get restricted with their jobs there? Idk I'm assuming . Another speculation is that SM is just making use of the whole THAAD so that lay wouldn't have to join Exo. It's not in a bad way ofc, it's just that Lay on his own makes a lot of money with his shows and cfs so binding him to Exo for the whole round of promotions will compromise some of his money making gigs.

Yangyang is younger than Renjun though so it doesn't really make sense if they're being excluded because of their age. I'd say it's either because they're going to join after their graduations from Dream or they just weren't included in that particular teaser, perhaps because they were too busy or because their hair colours were too bright for the concept since they were promoting We Go Up at the time (I think, who knows how long ago this was filmed haha). Or it might turn out that we're being dramatic too early and they're just not in that part of the teaser specifically lmao

 

I'm sure they'll be included in the unit, they've even had photoshoots together. I highly doubt that they'd already take photos together now if they're being added in another year or two.

But Yangyang is not part of Dream so his focus is entirely on NCT 116. I think if Chenle and Renjun will not be part of NCT 116 the main reason would be that they don't want Dream and NCT116 to have overlapping members so that those groups have the ability to promote simultaneously. Cuz imagine Winwin is already there so if NCT 116 is active, then NCT 127 would have a missing member. Also, Dream is a semi permanent group with consistent activities which will make it hard for the two. Dream can't afford to lose 2 members while 127 can live without 1 member.

Based on the china line's v-lives, it seemed as if Chenle and Renjun are part of the new China unit. However, if SM suddenly decided to pull them out last minute, maybe they will be added after their promotions as NCT Dream? Or... maybe this was taken during We Go Up promotion and is not the actual teaser for the China line? Maybe that's why Renjun and Chenle where not there cuz they where busy?

everybody here says it's a great album but why we don't have good views on YT?  these views are important for their next week win.

I find it really weird as well. I thought that the reason why the english ver wasn't fairing well was because people where waiting for the korean version first, but after the korean version was released and it still didn't do well...I'm already extremely worried. YT views might not mean much to people, but it shows exactly how much the kpop fans and non-fans in general care about the group. Low views implies that non-fans do not care enough to check out their song.  The only hope I'm holding on to is the fact that since the song is good, people will spread it and it will obtain longevity in the charts and gain views over time. 

Lucas has got to be on the top 5 most good looking idols in Kpop right now  . I initially thought he was filled with plastic surgery when he first came out as SM Rookie but seeing his child pics amazes me on how natural he is  .

i think its bc its his first (??) time coming back to HK as a full fledged K-pop star. Not to mention he belongs to the biggest Korean label so there has to be a lot of fans + the pressure of maintaining his cool. He's 19, not 25 and knows how to handle mobs. He's by all definition's... a teenager. Imagine being mobbed and not being in the mood for it (he looked jet lagged as well, we all know how that messes with us)

 

the worst is if he actually breaks out and becomes NCT's it boy (very plausible). those netizens will NOT step their heels off his neck. I'm scared he'll pull a BTS' V and start becoming a recluse. I've seen so many idols lose that spark they used to have in debut bc of the pressure the hate gives them. (Yoona, Taeyeon, Krystal, Taehyung, etc.)

 

i just hope king stays happy and doesn't let those pressed haters get to him, king got laid they can stay MAD.
