    Wait... Sohye got to keep all her IOI earnings? Wow I did not know that. That’s awesome! And agree Nayoung could have been big. She’s getting up there in age too so I really hope Pledis let her go so she can do some CFs and act in dramas.

    Really happy for Kyla if she’s gained her freedom. Now Pledis needs to let everyone else go. At this point even if Pristin came back there would be no way for them to compete in this market. They’ve already lost most of their fanbase and they would be starting from a huge popularity deficit. I just don’t want Pledis to waste anymore of our girls youth and talent. Full stop it’s unconscionable what this company is doing to Pristin.

    Same here... and I’ve tried to rationalize what happened multiple times and couldn’t come up with anything that made sense. We can speculate all day about what manipulated Pledis to do such a thing but at the end of the day we just don’t have any info and that company is not transparent at all. It makes me sad... well tbh the fate of I.O.I members in general makes me sad. At least Chungha’s made it which is against all expectations, including my own, but hey look at where we’re at in 2019. I’m really happy for her. WJSN is climbing slowly too but everyone else is either struggling or inactive. I however do believe in miracles...

    Or maybe we got lucky... because I’ve been following Izone since debut and I feel like some members just don’t get along that well with each other. I mean they have a more collegial relationship as coworkers whereas I.O.I members seem more like friends who have really great chemistry. Maybe it’s because I.O.I had a really good leader and unnie group who brought a lot of cohesion. Moreover their younger members had really laidback personalities. They just got along well and it didn’t seem fake or forced... either that or they’re really good at acting lol.

    After seeing other Produce groups debut I can see now that I.O.I had the best chemistry and friendship out of all of them. Not a single member is awkward and they genuinely seemed like good friends. I don’t get that vibe with other Produce groups...

    They’re not THAT bad at dancing. They’re just not exceptional, but imo it doesn’t really lower them in any way because they’re very unique and charismatic onstage. It’s just that the choreo this time around was a little more messy. Both their Latata and Hann eras had a lot of really great performances. It’s not a huge deal tbh. For other groups sloppy dancing might stand out more but I don’t think IDLE has that problem.

    Idle basically has the loudest, most unique and interesting foreign members in kpop. That’s a huge compliment.

    I love SKY but in hindsight I’d have to agree. Without Sungyeon the group would probably have gone a different direction with different song writers and producers. Without Kyla there wouldn’t have been all that drama... though that’s no fault of her just very fickle knetz. And I really like Yewon she’s super talented, but again it’s difficult to bringing a new face to the pd101 group. Pledis could have debuted Pristin as OT7, give them a different concept and placed SKY on PD48. Then again knowing Pledis they probably would have screwed Pristin regardless unless if they became undeniably popular.

    For the girls I just know Yuqi, Shuhua and Minnie. The boys I know Chenle, Renjun, Yuto and and Yanan. Does anyone know who the other idols are? Thanks.

    Agree... everyone in Pristin have been training together for many, many years prior to debut. There are videos of them performing from long before pd101. From vlives and HiCams it’s pretty obvious that they’re really close to each other... closer than basically every group I follow. That’s why this whole situation makes me sad.

    My guess is probably not... to save Pledis money but nobody knows... I just want to see them hangout and stuff. It’s but a dream at this point.
