I am so completely drained right now from my sadness and anger at what Pledis has done to these girl’s careers. So yes while this is no surprise to anyone who has been a HIgh, the finality of it all... the fact that it’s really over still makes my heart ache. I think we are all glad that Pledis was merciful enough to let them go free... honestly it was probably more that they violated their end of the contract because there usually is a stipulation for the number of promotions per year. But whatever I’m still super fucking pissed at Pledis. FUCK them for wasting our girl’s goddamn time. Fuck them seriously. It’s obvious that Pledis’ official statement about the disbandment is insincere. Hell they immediately announced Svt’s event right after. Pledis literally does not gaf. So fuck them. Words cannot describe my anger right now. I’ve been following them since I saw them as backup dancers for Orange Caramel way before they were even on pd101. I have so much I want to say... but I’m unable to articulate them because I’m just so blinded by rage. Fuck you Pledis.

Amen to that. His narrative is definitely off but I wanted to look on the bright side since it looks like the majority in the comments seem to be pretty dumbfounded by what Pledis is doing.

Well at least he brought more attention to the topic so more casuals might take a closer look. A lot of views too... so there’s a lot of interest in Pristin’s situation. That’s a win even if the info isn’t completely accurate.

The comments section for Pristin’s videos are literally all “where is Pristin?†Checkout Pledis’ latest global audition vid: Glad everyone’s bringing the heat because Pledis deserves it. They need to know that they can’t treat their artists like this.

They’ve been performing Roller Coaster at their Pledis Girlz concerts since like late 2016. Never came out... some have mentioned that maybe it wasn’t released because it sounds similar to Runaway Baby by Bruno Mars. Maybe they were afraid of plagiarism claims? Who knows. I like the vibe though, they should have stuck with that. It would have made them standout amongst the sea of generic cutesy or crush concepts and planted their flag in the industry.

Now this is the kind of fresh concept with great vibes that Pristin deserved...

At that time AS had already been on hiatus for years. We all thought Pledis turned a new leaf because they were doing everything right with how they handled Pledis Girlz and NaPink in IOI. Plenty of Play Girlz were warning us not to get our hopes up but I did not believe them... I thought Pledis probably learned their lesson and would be handling Pristin right like they’ve done with Seventeen. Boy was I wrong...

I believe it was always a part of the plan to debut the girls with Nayoung and Kyulkyung. Pledis Girlz was just a pre-debut name and I highly doubt they would actually have a group officially debut with Pledis in their group name. I don’t know what would have happened if Pristin debuted without NaPink... probably wouldn’t have made a difference tbh since it’s Pledis.

Been watching a lot of Shining Star vids... want to see them debut so badly.

Her insta posts are literal non-issue afaic... she can do whatever she wants with her time and can spend time with whoever she wants. Regardless those pics are fine.
