  1. Noooo, guess I have to use my badges :( Btw can't you just keep a record and resubmit everything back once the market is reset? Might take awhile but better to do that then completely start from scratch imo

I understand not everyone is familiar with the way the system works, and some might also think it's an easy, magical thing (haha), but submitting things to the market is time consuming for the uploader. It isn't an easy data transfer. If you'd like Panda to automatically add back everything that is in the marketplace once it has started over, you're essentially asking her to volunteer hundreds of hours of her time. I hope that puts into perspective how time consuming it would be. It's easier for her to honor unique items and then let the rest of the marketplace rebuilt itself naturally.

Also, without intention to offend anyone, the marketplace is filled with a lot of junk. It's probably what caused it to end up with so many glitches to begin with. The concept of it is very fun, but it's probably for the best that it gets a fresh start. After a few years of added items (and items that even came over from the previous forum as well), it's time to start anew~

    ANYWAY - Good luck, Panda!!

  2. So... how many Section Mods/Junior Mods will not make it to Regular Mod status this time...

P.S. this is a legitimate concern seeing that during the last recruitment, there were a few Junior Mods who ultimately did not make it to full Mod status, thus losing the forum of potential moderators.

This isn't the same as a regular JM position. This is forum section specific. However, they may be considered for actual moderator status should they show interest or good moderating abilities. Meaning: it really depends on how well someone is working, how serious they take their responsibilities and perform, and if they even show interest in a position like that. So why would it matter how many will or will not make it when it's obvious that there's a variety of factors involved? I'm sure the moderating team and the staff member interested in moving up will face that when time comes.

  3. I guess this is not an answerable question but I have always wondered why some staff teams have perks over other teams considering badges/banners/etc. For an instance, mods, awards team, events coordinators and graphics team have non-unique custom badges/custom banners, but other teams like RadiOH!, Events, Translations and OHpress dont have anything from that

To clarify on some staff perks: Mods are the only ones who receive unique badges. If you see a unique badge on another staff member, they earned that through games and prizes just like a normal user. Coordinators have special stamps because they are head of a team, and that's their perk. Awards team members do have the option for 4 non-unique badges, because it relates to their job, but those are only for the time they are on staff and lost the moment they are no longer on the team. I can't answer, however, why regular graphics team members are allowed additional special perks that other teams don't receive. If you really want a full answer to your question, your best bet is to contact Sadface and ask how he decides to distribute perks among staff. :)
