  1. EDIT: Throwback quote instead: “Soldiers in army get up in the morning and pledge allegiance to three things – to our country, to superior officers, and to SNSD.†--Psy ___________ 7. [+807, -122] Tiffany seems like such a kind-hearted person.. There were so many celebrities who wouldn’t do this kind of fanservice.. After listening to her color-ring (outgoing phone ringtone), a song by Taeyeon, I felt that she is kind-hearted; Tiffany is so lovable ♡
  2. Now, at least we have a fair idea of what kind of messages are exchanged between him and Miyoung.
  3. Aww this is nice. I wonder what's happened to the basketball coach Sooyoung talked once about in Strong Heart. I remember some of the girls visiting him and Seohyun going to a game with him.
  4. Fandoms are not made of delusions and fantasies but of mutual support and love to the artist. Fans have fantasies and delusions, yes, but not all fans live by that. SNSD have been in existence for 7 years, not all their fans are delusional teenagers who will turn their backs at the drop of a hat. ^This is the part where I find your view too shallow. Regardless of how careful they are, if there are people who are out there to get them, they will be caught. If they really have been going on for years and survived those without getting busted, then they had been more than careful. You can't just tell that they were careless just because they were eventually outed---this is bound to happen regardless of how hard they try to hide something. Broaden up. You're making it seem like it's their fault that they get caught, partly probably yes. But what do you want them to do? Hide forever because they were being watched and just so they can feed those fans' delusions? And please, just how old the girls are now? It is no longer surprising at all. Well, not all i-fans are that understanding either, and I'm pretty sure a lot of their fans in Korea already knew what's going on with Tiffany and Nickhun and Hyoyeon and that guy. Among the relationships revealed so far, these two are the most "unsurprising" so I don't know how it would create such an intense mess, tbh. Well, there's another controversy with Hyoyeon, but so far, there's a lot of support going to her. Again, we'll never really know the extent of that "effect" until the next big Korean activity. Yoona's and Sooyoung's were revealed early in the year, and as far as I'm aware of, it did not affect "Mr. Mr."
  5. Fans leaving the fandom just because the members are dating is a typical occurrence, the question is, "Would it affect SNSD like it did to other groups?"I don't think so. And, personally, I think those fans who were only fans because they have deluded themselves into believing that they love the girls because they are either single or dating each other are the delusional ones and not the ones who are still supporting the girls positively until now. ...or probably because Sports Seoul finally get a solid proof---the pictures---and what better things to do with them than release them and get the attention? Really, people just keep on pointing fingers when we basically know nothing and are just basing our own speculations on speculations of other people who also know nothing. Whatever's happening in SM, we all have no idea. We don't know what goes on between them and SNSD, but for SNSD to entrust 3 more years of their career in the company, that's saying something. Outsiders, including fans, speculate base on what we see, but I'm sure the girls are more privy to everything and know what they are doing. Dating scandals are juicy, and entertainment tabloids like Sports Seoul and Dispatch, and those entertainment "journalists" feed of scandals because they are easy to sensationalize. This is probably the most narrow-minded insight I got the chance of reading. Really. Again, there is nothing wrong about the girls dating, and I think they have said countless of times already that they would rather keep their relationships private if they can--this, however, is something you can't tell to those paparazzi who make a living out of disclosing celebrity secrets. And FYI, Tiffany is not the only member whose relationship came out this year. There are also Yoona, Sooyoung, and Hyoyeon. It's not Tiffany's fault why fans leave, it's not Yoona's, Sooyoung's, or Hyoyeon's fault that those fans decided that they cannot be fans of girl group members who are dating and dating guys. Those fans are not at fault at all as well, but to blame the girls about some fickle fans' decision is just............. The thing with some people is, they look into just one part of the whole and use it to define the entire picture. Just because one talk show episode isn't subbed yet, SONEs are already losing their spirit and forgot all the other shows subbed this year not only by SSF but also other users.I don't know why there isn't "Beatles Code Eng Sub" available yet, but to quickly and factually point it out as a sign of a weakening and disintegrating fandom is a bit weak, don't you think? It's too early to see how these scandals and controversies affect the fandom, tbh. We'll probably see it's full effect on their next big Korean activity--a comeback or a concert. But if I'm going to judge based on the fandom's history with dealing huge issues about the girls, then I can confidently say that this won't change anything except for the fact that the fandom would not only be stronger but also more understanding and accepting of the girls' decisions. EDIT: Just to add, if you think the fans and the fandom are suffering and worrying at how are all these going to impact everything, I think the girls are bearing the same burden tenfold.
  6. A friend from Kayo told me about it. Said someone mentioned it in the thread and got everyone freaking out :/ And then there's the Yuri-Luhan thing. I know the recent dating revelations got a lot of people on the edge, but I just hope they don't take everything they read seriously -___-
  7. Rumor. Hara's ex is the guy. Rumors about SNSD have been popping and circulating all around, it's not even safe anymore to tell which has the most probability to be real. I will just deal with them if they are proven to be true and not stress myself over dwelling on them
  8. Do they seriously think they are doing Taeyeon a favor by hating on her best friend?
  9. Awwww Now, that's precious EDIT: This might have been posted already, but I just saw it a while ago
  10. Me too! Oh the memories... but I remember my reaction to their cute MVs were like
  11. There's also another guy. Apparently, he's a new Kpop fan and a new SONE (got into the girls because of "Galaxy Supernova"). His bias right from the start are Tiffany and Hyoyeon (this dude might have it hard right now ) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mqn1DpHbQ90
  12. http://youtu.be/sLqebJgz0ec I follow this dude on YT coz I love his SNSD MV Reactions and Tiffany spazzing. I was waiting for this since last night :D Poor Josh!
  13. I hope this is a message to some of the people who are being childish about all this and whining and crying on her IG
  14. The datings? LOL After this I think netz would already be used to the idea. But there will always be those who will try to make a mess out of it, o course.
  15. I loled for real. Seriously, tho. I can't even tell how Hyoyeon's handling the breakup, the controversy, and all those negative comments. She'll get even stronger after this.
  16. Don't worry. I already did my share of flirting with another user since last night . We're even on the "having babies" stage right now.
  17. There is always the possibility of another story behind the revealed one since that environment is shady; it can also be just another dating scandal just a lot more juicier because it's SNSD and SNSD has been embroiled in hot issues so it's the best time to ride the trend. There's a lot of possibilities, but I sure won't stress myself trying to deduce what really is happening. Tiffany and Nickhun are not harmed, they seem to be happy. It's just sad that they have to hide their relationships since there should be no shame in being in love. Right now, tho, I just hope Hyoyeon is getting all the support, love, and comfort she needs.
  18. Like you said, we'll never know and none of us have any about what really goes on between SM and the artists themselves. I also don't know what went on with the TVXQ and Hangeng, so I can't comment on that. I agree with the last part, tho. Although, technically, Hyoyeon's was revealed first, it was just not confirmed, but everyone already believed she and Jay Kim were a couple way before Yoona and Lee Seunggi. It was a perfect timing for Yoona and Lee Seunggi to be revealed first--they're like the Tinseltown golden couple that what the people exactly wanted. It did cushioned the succeeding revelations. There will always be bitter and butthurt people who will take advantage of it, but I don't think a dating scandal will have the same effect to SNSD as it did to others. The recent controversy with Hyoyeon was unforeseen, tho. It was one of those things that just went out of control. The most ridiculous thing about it, however, was a lot more people made a big deal of that "bullying" story, suicide attempt, and Hyoyeon being the scapegoat. The issue was just between Hyoyeon and her ex, there could be so much more than what was confirmed, but like what I said before, those details are no longer our concern.
  19. Simple, because news about them will gather the most attention, and attention is exactly what entertainment reporters want. EDIT: For example, if a paparazzo have proofs about Tiffany dating Nickhun and another girl group member dating as well, it's common sense to choose to reveal Tiffany's just in case other paparazzi have the same proofs and get to reveal it first.
  20. Why are these revealed and why SM did not stop it, who knows? All I know is there's nothing wrong about the girls dating, so as long as they are not in an illicit affair, and as far as I know, none of the are/were. As for SM throwing SNSD under the bus, I don't think any sane company would intentionally ruin one of their most successful acts--that's ridiculous. Things happen, things get out of hand, and there's a lot of things that even the most influential people have no control over. There are disappointed fans saying that they will no longer be fans, there are haters rejoicing because they have deluded themselves into believing that SNSD will get crushed because of all these scandals from dating to the controversy involving Hyoyeon, and entertainment reporters are having the time of their lives with all these stories to write about. All of these are negative, yes, but all of these people will get tired of ranting, bashing, and reporting once the hype dies down. And the thing is, even when all these negative elements are no longer there, SONEs will still be there supporting the girls, accepting their decisions, and being happy for their happiness because that's their personal lives and none of our business.
  21. I'll just ninja in here to say it's good to see people from both fandoms being supportive about Nickhun and Tiffany's relationship. There will always be haters and immature fans, of course, but I'm glad that there are more sane ones. Anyway, I wish the best and all the happiness for them ^_^
