  1. What's up with Keya management deciding the line-up? I can never figure out whats going on in their mind
  2. No worries thanks for the tip. Here are some articles: https://hk.entertainment.appledaily.com/enews/realtime/article/20190114/59137488 https://tw.appledaily.com/new/realtime/20190113/1499677/ However, none of the "explanations" for her hiatus are confirmed as the only official explanation is her blog stating she wants to travel and take a break.
  3. I watched snippets of it, do you know where I can watch the full thing? Also I've read Chinese news report that the hiatus is actually for Kana to rest her throat as she may be walking down Ayumi's footsteps with her increasingly strained vocal chords.
  4. Everyone should check out this link: https://www.bilibili.com/video/av40351724 This video compiled all of Kana's A-side singles from debut till 2018. I can say I actually her releases in all of the years except 2017. 2017's releases were the worst for me, fortunately it became much better in 2018. You can also see how her 2009-2012 singles were the most vocally-taxing songs. Pretty amazed how her throat was not yet wrecked by those songs like Watashitachi, Always and Be Strong.
  5. Tbh I feel if she wants to have a successful comeback, she will need a hit (less of those bubblegum pop)
  6. Link of Sugai, Neru, Risa and Akanen in the annual Kakuzuke Check (èŠ¸èƒ½äººæ ¼ä»˜ã‘ãƒã‚§ãƒƒã‚¯) where they have to differentiate the exquisite stuff from the common stuff (like beef, wine, orchestra, etc) https://www.bilibili.com/video/av40269706 It's quite funny
  7. Yes I thought at least one more album or something, But on the bright side, it's not retirement. So hopefully her hiatus will be like Ikimonogakari, just a few years
  8. I think there are a few Aimyon fans out there, I know there is one user who consistently post Aimyon's new performances. I just think that not many of them know there is an Aimyon thread
  9. Seems true. I didn't know it was such a hit in Japan until I saw it constantly being performed in music shows even years after it was released.
  10. Personally I love Darling, Dear Bride and Suki too. However it seems that none of them have the same impact as Torisetsu
  11. Yea I'm loving her style too. Hopefully she doesn't burn out or change to shift to bubble-gum pop (looking at you Kana) Hope she will do an overseas tour
  12. Yes she is bursting with potential and all of her recent songs are hits for me. On another note, there is nothing sad or bad if an artist can't thrive in multiple genres. That is just too high of an unrealistic expectation fans place on artists, expecting them to constantly write masterpieces that span across genres.
  13. She is definitely a musical genius in my opinion. However I can see why some people are doubtful. Kenshi has a longer career and a track record of being able to dabble into various genres, for Aimyon she is still relatively new and her songs are not as diverse as Kenshi yet.
  14. Bless God for Aimyon thread! Btw and this song is also composed and written by Aimyon.
