  1. I think the husband is definitely up to something, but it's just about halfway thru the series so I'm guessing this is just a 'false lead' to trick the viewers. Based on what happened in ep 7
  2. I find it an interesting twist of fate that Nam Gung Min/Hong Jin Young couple replaced Lee So Yeon/Yoo Han couple and it turns out Nam Gung Min and Lee So Yeon are going to be a couple in a drama that just started. I'm looking forward to when they meet friends of each other because Hong Jin Young is really close with Shinji(Koyote) and Solbi. That bikini pic he found when he searched her name was from her birthday party that she had at a luxury hotel and both Shinji and Solbi were there with her.
  3. There is real history with the characters and there's been a lot of forshadowing as well. I'm hoping in the next episode we get to see more of the warrior Seungnyang. She grabbed a sword to fight Tanaqishi.
  4. Ah. Well that makes sense if it's going to be such a younger actress. Lee Bum Soo doesn't need another like 20 year age diff relationship following Prime Minister & I. I guess he could be married and with children considering his age in the real life(and likely the drama)
  5. I wonder who the actresses are going to be? I wouldn't be shocked if there's some kind of triangle(PUN!) between the older and middle brother and a woman.
  6. I always thought she looked a lot like one of my favorite 1st-gen (and one of the few to continue being active until now) singers in Kan Mi Youn of Baby Vox. It was funny how A Pink would have the random english narration which was like her main thing. I liked her on A Pink news, was bummed when A Cube kicked her out of the company.
  7. Don't think this has anything to do with who's on the show. It's probably just some PD for the show stopped by Inkigayo to film who was there as a promo for the show.
  8. I hope they still are going to do worldwide release of each episode at the same time on the internet with it subbed for multiple languages as well.
  9. The first two episodes were really good and the production value wasn't quite movie-quality, but was still good. I'll put thoughts about them into the spoilers
  10. I feel bad when I watch Ji Hyo doing Running Man while doing a drama at the same time. She was dead to the world on the bus-ride to the Han River, but when it comes time for games and stuff on the show she tries as hard as anyone even though she's exhausted.
  11. Shim Eun Kyung was really adorable and funny lol. I don't even remember the last time I saw a female guest come on and almost keel over coughing and dry heaving while running rofl. Maybe Noh So Yeon Yonghwa continues his domination and wow up to 10 appearances already.
  12. It's probably the hair and shadows, but it almost makes it look like the side of her face is the edge of a mask. Like someone sitting there is wearing a Park Bom mask.
  13. I think doing an entire series probably will lower the quality rather than just focusing on a 90-120min film. Not really a fan of full computer CG from them either. I think Goro lives off his Father's name and fame because Tales from Earthsea wasn't very good.
  14. SBS tries to celebrate a popular show by having the actors appear on another variety show on the network. It would be awesome if they could get Jun Ji Hyun to appear on Running Man. I know she's said she's a huge Infinity Challenge fan and likes Yoo Jae Suk, but thought IC is better when it's just the regular cast doing their thing and not when a guest comes on. Well RM is built for guests and has YJS...
  15. Yea. I think the Korean chess rank idea was probably the best 'limiter' they've ever put on the name tag game to make it more fair and less of an advantage for the ridiculously strong(KJK). The tag reflectors used every once in awhile wouldn't be a bad idea either just to keep that element of fear in their minds that if they rip a tag it could reflect back on them and they out themselves. It also made it a bit more fair for guests because the RM members obviously have a significant advantage in the nametag game because they've got experience in it of over 100 times of playing the game. The funny thing is that when the penalties for ripping a higher rank were first announced I think it meant the person who ripped it got frozen for 3 seconds. So when Dohee can ripped by Kwang Soo the first time I thought he was going to have to stand in place for 3 secs and she'd rip his tag off :D
  16. I've liked their pairing most from the start, but I've never thought it would end up as the 'happy pairing' even if they end up together as emperor/consort(queen/empress whatever). Mainly because this is a Korean drama and the Emperor is the Chinese emperor. Korean dramas rarely show the non-Korean character as the "better man" for a love interest of a Korean character. On the rare times it happens it's usually with supporting characters, not with a main lead. The one slight hope I had at the beginning was Wang Yuu is kind of notorious in Korean history for being a pretty crappy King and a pretty crappy guy. He's historically known for being violent(particularly against women and sleeping around a lot). However, the Wang Yuu depicted in this show is nothing like that. In fact I think that's one of the reasons why MBC was forced to add a disclaimer about the characters not being historically accurate and turning Wang Yuu into more of a 'fictitious" character. MBC, KBS, and SBS receive public funding from the government and actually have government oversight. I'm not 100% if this is still active, but the Korean government actually used to have to approve who would be in charge of each network. Almost like a higher court judge or cabinet secretary is approved in the US by government. As such the public broadcast channels would have to offer a certain % of content dictated by the Korean government, which includes historical dramas to keep reminding citizens about their cultural heritage.
  17. Some of the episode which forces the members into a certain role are good. Like the Super Power episodes...but some of the more scripted movie/drama themed episodes where they have follow a certain path feels too forced. This week's episode was really good. The Hong Kong fan came up with a good plan although I think the hurdles for the acupuncture track were a bit much. As soon as I saw them my strategy was the same as Haha/Yoo Jin Geo though lol. Just burn through it and suck up the penalty time. RM is going to get a lot of email/videos in the mail from fans now. Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing since it could mean more fresh ideas.
  18. Wow. I really want to see this movie that Park Bo Young, Lee Jong Suk, and Lee Se Young are in that they're promoting. Seriously...Park Bo Young as the head delinquent chick? LOL. She's so tiny and adorable. It looked like Se Young kinda likes Jong Suk. She kept trying to be near him and then paired up with him twice at the end.
  19. Ailee was the guest on After School Club on Arirang. The show is completely in english with Eric Nam as the co-host. Miss-A's Min has joined as a temporary co-host for a few weeks replacing LED Apple's Hanbyul who had his final show this past week. Here's two links. Sometimes Arirang stuff gets shuffled around on their youtube channels and eventually the ASC episodes tend to be put into like 4 or 5 parts. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q7rpoNzDBck http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vyxcrhDv8vA I used the first link which seems to be fine (downloaded the episode so i'm watching it now).
  20. Does he go by the Chinese word for Prince and it gets translated to English so he's called Prince? Because there's only one person in the world who should get to go by being called just Prince and it's not him.
