ikr, I feel like I've been missing out for not checking them earlier, they have great songs, the girls are all so cute and funny.

Their YT channel has so much content, I'm having fun catching up.

  2. CHO has, I think, the most natural talent and potential of any player that's come through the academy since John Terry. I think most of our fans knew of his potential since 2017 and really started getting hyped about it after last pre-season. I've honestly never seen our fans so excited about a youth player, which says a lot considering we've had a lot of good youth players over the years. Even though he naturally plays on the left, he's been our best RW in the past few matches and was good against Tottenham the other day. He's very direct, and even though he's young, I'd say he already has a better footballing IQ than Willian. In a vacuum, £35m for an 18 year old who only has a handful of senior appearances with 18 months left on his contract is a good deal no matter their potential, but right now most Chelsea fans would reject it without a second thought and I think the club will too. It's complicated.

We still realistically have six months to convince him to stay, and we don't need to sell him right now since he's made a strong claim to a starting spot and Willian/Pedro is just inadequate for the rest of the year. It looks like we'll get a transfer ban as well so having to buy another RW when we'll have no leverage is... not ideal. Also Chelsea fans get very attached to any youth players who show potential of becoming a first team starter, since we just don't really see it often with the way our club views youth players/the academy. If he goes, I really think everyone will look back on it in some ways as another De Bruyne.

Young and talented RW who plays direct football, sounds like a perfect match for United... JDlIcg4.gif  jk

Damn, he sounds very promising, it's exciting when a youngster comes from the academy and does well in the first team. I'll keep an eye on Chelsea's next games.

Bayern might see him as a potential successor for Ribery/Robben, but they are cheapskates, if CHO plays regularly in the next 5 months and his value increases, they will give up.

Considering how much Willian was running his mouth about Conte, he declined so hard within a year. Did nothing during the WC aside from the Mexico game, now having a pretty poor season. To think Mourinho wanted to sell Martial and get him, yikes, don't even wanna imagine.

  3. Just need to vent a little bit about the CHO saga

I'm upset but at least we are doing almost everything we can to keep him, it's not like with De Bruyne where we/Mourinho just wasted and discarded his obvious talent (I still see red when I think about that). If he leaves then the only complaint I'd really have is that the actions to convince him to stay came too late. There's no reason for him to not have gotten as many EL/EFL Cup minutes as possible. Still, he's gotten more opportunities than what a normal Chelsea youth player would get, it just seems that his head's been turned by Bayern and he simply wants to play for them. He's getting minutes but the rumours haven't died down. I have to say that he's played this really intelligently, he has us on a string.

He seems to have made up his mind on leaving, probably expected more chances since Willian has been shit.

How good is this kid tho? I've only started hearing about him recently, the rumors say that Bayern offered £35m, do you think it's a good price?
