    The vocal maturity that is Body Talk is on another level. It's so strange hearing Talk to Me and then going straight into Body Talk; I was like, did it rotate to another album?

    Right, I viewed her as the usual classic beauty that Korean fans would migrate to. Haha, boy did she take us by surprise, loved that she proved me to be way off base. I eat my words, Queen Jisoo.

    Suzy's single debut was an interesting choice. For me, it was unexpected and combined Miss A Suzy with actress Suzy, which I think was rather brilliant. The song, the video, even the artform was more reflective of an non-idol style (heavier, darker, saturated tones clashing with washed out backdrop) than the normal idol aesthetic (brightened video with pastel colors everywhere) that I thought they would go for.

    What an interesting idea, to allow each member to have their own song before "official debut". I wonder if they had a say in the concepts themselves or if they were strictly assigned. If they had some choice, it's really cool to get an individual feel for them all. Has anyone done anything like this before? They took SM's introduction to a whole new level, lol. Their songs are so vastly different from each other-I'm loving this! this sounds like straight OST material for a movie.

    I am forever late but I just got around to watching these, needless to say, he was born to be an artist. Ever since Mine dropped, I stopped thinking that seperating from SM was a bad thing. Even with the struggles, I don't think that this brilliance could have been fully realized if he had stayed.

    Haha, they really brought out the whole dam squad, I feel like I'm watching Crows Zero and there's about to be a school fight. Interested to see them in the future. The dance battle introductions were on point.

    Excuse me, this is completely irrelevant to the topic of your discussion but I feel like I need to make amends after being inspired by your siggy. I don't think that I truly appreciated Jisoo's beauty until I saw your gif. Jisoo in her simplicity is gorgeous. -- Also, I have to confess that before BP's first variety appearance, I had Jisoo pegged as a quiet, possibly boring type whose role was just to maintain an image. I didn't expect her to hold her own with such an outgoing personality that will make her variety show gold, in the future. Okay, that's all! I feel so much better now.

    yea, by identity, I mean that some of her lyrics were shallow. Like American rappers who can only compose lyrics of chains, women and stacks or idol rappers who can only brag about how good they are because they feel like they have something to prove but they seldom venture beyond those things. Many of Truedy's lyrics were surface level, but every now and then she showed the potential for becoming a great lyricist by going deeper.

    Seeing BP on Weekly Idol completely shattered all of my preconceived notions about them so tired of fighting it, I should just give in. yes, yes, giving in!
