Seems like Naruto Next Generation is continuing♥

When will it die... Seriously... -
Awesome, this sounds like it's going to be fun! ↠Username: North and South ↠Likes: British Period Dramas, Got7, Reply 1988 Junghwan and DeokSun couple. I like .gifs, cards or art. Anything thoughtful is nice. Stuff like that ↠Dislikes: Anything 18+, I'd prefer nothing with profanity (but a little is fine) and please don't spend any actual money on the gift (from one student suffering from loans to another)

[OFFICIAL] K-Drama / K-Movie Recommendation Thread
North and South replied to Krystal.'s topic in Movies & Television
I'm looking for a nice romance drama, preferably one set in the 70s-90s with a more slow pace. Something that's just a feel good type of thing, like Reply 1988 or the 1995 section of My Love Eundong. Any suggestions? My dramalist is here Shut up Flower Boy Band, A Gentleman's Dignity, Sungkyungwan Scandal are some that I can remember off the top of my head. -
Omg I love this series so much. This is definitely my favourite K-drama of all time. All I'm seeing from the comments though is how worried everyone is that Junghwan and Deoksun are getting so many scenes together. I think everyone is still a little salty about Chilbong, but I doubt that the writers would be so cruel as to make anyone else end-game. I mean, doesn't it seem a little TOO obvious by this point that Junghwan is the husband.

British Period Dramas & Movies

Moar recs La Belle et la Bete (French) A French LA of Beauty and the Beast. It's jaw droopingly gorgeous in pretty much every way. The Disney remake has high standards to live up to 2) Gran Hotel (Spanish) Part murder mystery, part thriller, part romance. Full of gorgeous people, sets and an enthralling story about a man looking for his missing sister in the sinister, but elegant, Gran Hotel 3) The Jewel in the Crown (British) Old but absolute gold, it details the lives of individuals within British India, and overall portrays the end of British rule. The series is from the 80's and won several Emmys. Based on the first of the Raj Quartet. -
Just finished Dragonwyck in one sitting. It was definitely interesting, a classic Gothic romance in an American colonial setting. Definitely several cliches that were almost mind-numbing at times but there's something very addictive and memorable about the simple story and it's larger than life characters. I would rate it a 3/5, it's a good light read but I wouldn't say it's any more. Reading The Far Pavillions and dear goodness; what a masterpiece it is. Also wiz109 cool to see someone else reading the Fionavar Tapestry! I like Guy Gavriel Kay's works for the most part, although his style takes some getting used to.

Hey this sounds like an awesome idea. I would suggest making a google document/ answer sheet. That way you can collect responses using standardized questions and it will automatically sort it for you. -
Looks fun, I've liked Eunji in her other roles as well so I'll definitely try this out

Hey, I asked this already to a regular in another thread, but I'm a Canadian and I REALLY want to buy a physical copy of their album. Anybody know a trustworthy site that can allow for this? -
Official Lee Jonghyun x Gong Seungyeon Couple Thread
North and South replied to twinky's topic in Couples/OTPs
Call me delusional, but they seemed REALLY into each other. IDK if I believe the rumours about them being forced off the show (I heard that CNBlue is starting a concert?) but when Jonghyun said last episode "I think they're trying to tell me not to kiss you" and "I was scolded a lot [for "recharging'] by the people around me" you do start to wonder. 8. [+41, -2] Sounds like both agencies are taking them off because they've been so emotional with each other and they're scared that their image will be too cemented in this ^^^^ Like honestly that does seem logical. Even the WGM hosts seem a little curious about the full extent of their relationship. I hope they stay good friends and whatnot, but MAN. They literally JUST got married!- 992 replies

British Period Dramas & Movies
North and South replied to DeletedAccount01's topic in Movies & Television
Omg yay this topic hasn't been archived. I shall have to check out the latest recs *__* I was just reminded of this film, Two Brothers, the other day. Don't be fooled by the cute tigers, the movie also has people in it lol. I actually adore this movie, it's really fun and yet sad at the same time, and an interesting take on some of the aspects of European colonialism in SEA. Plus main dude is super hot Also the classic ] Gone With The WInd I was honestly really reluctant to try it myself because it's so old, and the movie posters honestly make it look like a western porno. But the movie is SO SO good. Honest to goodness it deserves all the praise and everything. It's beautifully made, beautifully shot, and the characters are so complex and yet so real. I watched it and was stunned. -
Who's Your Favorite Female Anime Heroine(s)???

Kikyo from Inuyahsa Mayaya from Princess Jellyfish Sawako from Kimi Ni Todoke Basara from the Legend of Basara Haruhi from OHSHC Kaoru from Rurouni Kenshin Maka from Soul Eater Kagura from Gintama Uotani from Fruits Basket Saki from Shinsekai Yori Edit: AND OMG YES SOMEONE MENTIONED WINRY -
I also watched the newly subbed episode for curiosity's sake, and like many others was disappointed for the most part. I really liked Andreas, I think he's got a great attitude towards a show like this. Also, just like many others I was quite put off at the argument between Carlos and Sami. That and the MCs inability to stop the argument before it escalated to such a point. Sami as a representative of the Middle East is just... meh to me. I don't think he's got the right mentality. But who knows, maybe that'll help make the show more interesting. Sam really needs to step up his game in this upcoming season. He isn't contributing to discussions at all pretty much. The Norway representative seems really good, and the Polish representative well I'll let him pass with flying colours based on his handsomeness alone (honestly I LITERALLY swooned when I saw him. I damn right out SWOONED). I like Yuta. And I say this as someone who is very bitter about how Takuya was kicked out. I think he contributes a lot, I think he's very balanced, but I also think that he's just a puppet in many respects. Overall I'm not impressed. I have no idea wth they would kick out Ilya, who imo was definitely the best speaker on the show, and also kept people like Tyler in check. And just like many have pointed out, while they may have addressed the cast they didn't address the crux of the problem, which imo is the MCs.

I'm having the same issue rn. The irony of this though is that even though I'm quoting you, you won't be able to see the notification that should notify you =___= But yeah, I think this is a site wise issue, not something specific to a single user.
