With Yoona having drama confirmed on MBC and Yuri on SBS we only need Sooyoung drama on KBS to have all three major networks covered in 2017.

The story in The King Loves is not true story. King Chungseon really existed but the story of this drama is fictional, there is no data to confirm this actually happened.

Me too I love the build up. Plus it means Yoona will have more time to rest as they will film children portion of the drama first. I feel like they will announce Rin casting any day now. I also have this itching feeling its one of the guys whoes dramas are about to end ( Seo In Guk,Go Kyung Po,Hong Jong Hyun) that's why they waited so long to cast him.

I honestly feel this fandom has gone to gutter, Sone i know would never let Soshi being dragged and belittled on daily bases like this. I am not joking right now, hugely disappointed. Lol i feel like Moon Lovers tried to be so different from the original drama, while still holding on to original story and it turned out to be the mess it was. Good thing with King Loves is that its first time adaptation, so we won't have to compare it to other drama.

I mean how much they can screw up, when they have a source material already. Even remotely capable writer should know how to take advantage out of that. I would love for Go Kyung Po to be a lead, especially if he ends up with Yoona in the drama.

I wish we would get more info on this drama. Yoona is done filming K2 in 2 weeks and im pretty sure Siwan also finished filming his movie. They also need to cast the other male lead to complete the love triangle, that role is equally important as Siwans and Yoonas, i hope they choose strong young actor. Also its sageuk so they need to cast huge number of people and since filming is supposed to start in a month they need to cast them in next two weeks cause they still need to have a script reading, costume fittings, horseback riding /sward/ bow and arrow training if necessary etc. We only got two main leads, director ,locations and the broadcast network so far. Also i'm obsessed with Shopping King Loui and Jealousy Incarnate right now, so i kinda hope they cast either Seo In Guk or Go Kyung Po for second male lead. Both dramas are finished around same time as The K2 so there is a chance. Though i would be happy with Byun Yo Han or Kim Bum too.
