  1. I think it's actually 15k for the BD and 49k for the total (it's number one with 49k on the DVD/BD combined chart)
  2. I wouldn't compare her to Sayanee either, she seems to be rising in public favorability and has a different kind of fan support.By week 2 or 3 she will reach over 10k, so yeah she did just decently. It's like a new start where only fans who care about her will remain. She had some decent promo but I think the whole build-up and PR before the album with the singles, etc. didn't help her to build a solid indidvidual fanbase and gain or keep much fans on her own. Now it depends on if and how her career will evolve.
  3. She was the main personality for the Shizuoka local broadcast, not the main thing broadcasted nationally on NTV.
  4. Here is the making of btw (gonna be deleted tomorrow) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KWQLpcoKj1w I think it's the concept of the video since the staff isn't too far giving them directives. I've also seen people trying to guess who it might be and there's a chance that it's a male model she started to follow on instagram like at the beginning of the month, probably after working with him. They could end up dating after working that close though I dunno.
  5. Yes I know Pink Champagne did, I mean that song wasn't really popular orz. It still reached a million within the second week though and EGSR was obviously faster. I also remember Highschool Love reaching 10M views in very little time, like one month orso. E-girls aside, the hype and growing popularity of Happiness and Flower lately is pretty obvious and after seeing the pace of Flower/Fujii sisters videos, I expected the same from Happiness. I knew they would do well.
  6. Most E-girls and Flower's videos achieve a million views in less than a week nowadays. ShuuKaRen's video did too.
  7. I doubt there's anything more to say about the song and he was merely giving his impression about the song since he's only her radio co-host. I have listened to the full song (the quality was really bad though) and it sounds pretty much like the original, with maybe really slight differences with the instrumental. That 40secs preview was already speaking for the song itself. That's very lazy of them to release a cover song like that. She even said that she was like "Ehhhh..?!" at first when avex suggested her that. Seeing how LDH hardly releases rock songs for the girls, especially as A-sides and their tendency to rehash the same stuff.. I could maybe imagine her playing guitar for a future single though because she has been practicing harder lately. There was more promotion last year for each group since they focused on individual releases for the second half of the year and Dream had that series of events called "Dream Party" which helped the sales. And everyone's sales increased but sadly Dream had the lowest sales. Each of them have important roles within E-girls though and they're the senpai members, that's why they are always in front.
  8. From today's instagram updates, Ami said that the full song is going to be aired tomorrow on her radio show and the b-sides were something new/challenging for her (but better not have high expectations lol). Onuki Takuto, who's her radio co-host, wrote that the song has a more pop-ish arrangement.
  9. I was not even expecting anything from them since it felt like it would be Happiness' day but I still felt bummed after reading reports and tweets from Dream fans'. I could feel the frustration. Next year is their 15th anniversary so I'm really expecting them to release an album. And I doubt the band has anything to do with Ami's new single though, it seems that it was only for the live. I think that her new single will be similar to her previous ones. But lowkey hoping for a drama theme song tbh, if they want her to stay in the public eye (seeing how her last MV is reaching 10M views thanks to the tie-in).
  10. There's also the fact that Rydeen is a famous song that E-girls covered and some people didn't like the cover E-girls made of it if I remember well. Kinda like with their version of Odoru Ponpokorin, there are always people commenting that they prefer the original BB Queens version. A nice balance of both cute and cool releases is good, and that's what they've been doing as of late (Anniversary!, DDD, MMX, DWMN, EGSR, Pink Champagne). They do both concepts really well and I don't think their cute concepts are "overly cutesy".They are just really pop and colorful in terms of video, which is something I like about them. Their fans are now appreciating cool concepts like DWMN, it's nice to see different sides of them. But if they want to keep reaching a wider audience (especially since last year they had no "hit" song), fun and brighter pop songs still win for now.
  11. Someone have been sharing subbed videos of Dream talks on YT lately. This one was always my favourite https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=21E80pfT950
  12. E-girls official Youtube channel http://e-girls-ldh.jp/news/detail.php?id=1037564 https://www.youtube.com/user/Egirlsch/
  13. I agree with that. Imho it's very likely that all these solo activities is a way for them to be able to move on easily on their solo career once they will leave E-girls. Ami getting a solo debut, Shizuka debuting as a DEP member (she was even on THE SECOND new MV with DEP members), Erie focusing on her DJ activities, Aya getting a solo on the last Dream single and I think she might get management work like someone mentioned above.I think that it's a good thing for them. It's sad to see how the group seems stagnant compared to Happiness and Flower that are more "fresh" groups with a good established image and sound (still bitter that Dream is stuck with those ballads). Both groups keeps growing more and more popular and Dream will just get overshadowed. A solo career is like a new start, they can try different things and get more new opportunities and each of them are really great individually. I mostly follow Ami in terms of solo activities and even herself she said in interviews this year that her dream was to have her own solo tour and a dome tour for E-girls. Even now they are still put as front members on E-girls artists photos and such, they are given solo works. LDH appreciate Dream and they wouldn't drop them.
  14. I noticed the video was shorter too but it wasn't that bothering, the full version can always be found somewhere Really liked how bright and colorful the MV was and the song was nice too. I wish they didn't use "E.G" in the title though like with Pink Champagne (even in the song). Erie is participating in concerts so she isn't totally inactive in E-girls. Btw she wasn't on MMXmas covers either but she was in the video. Maybe this time her DJ-ing didn't fit the concept? I've always thought that this role was just a way to keep her as a member officially, I did expect her to be less present/active within the group.
  15. As for Dream; Darling / Blanket Snow (4-nin's current ballad sound), Only You / Wanna Wanna Go (4-nin's cute and upbeat sound), Breakout / Perfect Girls (6-nin's cool and fierce era; there's also the album "Hands Up!), MY DAY ONE WAY (one of my favourite B-side from them). They have been through so many phases (and they also have other songs pre-LDH but the current line-up was singing much less), I hope you will find something you like from their discography.
  16. A few other parts of the MV from morning news. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GhK_gmYQzTs
  17. She received lots of comments saying that she looks like Reina, they even made an article about it on modelpress lol
  18. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SqWqtMvbRvo I think that she was absent because of health issues. She was also supposed to be one of the runway models along with Karen, Harumi and Kaede but she didn't participate.
  19. And she is also going to do some voice acting for the movie. The song is called "Try Everything", it fits her voice very well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5oqgy_zUm2I&sns=tw
  20. The last song was amazing! So touching. DJ Erie's part was one of the most fun part of the concert. And I was surprised by how good Ami sounded, especially in the ballads (Mirai e!!). She isn't exactly known for being the best singer in that kind of songs but she was great.
  21. Congrats to them! Events also boosted the sales (both days the single was number one in Oricon charts were events day, people have to buy copies to attend the events). The five versions also probably helped a bit since some fans can be really supportive and buy all the versions ( + plus they had five different beautiful covers). So yes I wouldn't compare these sales much to their previous ones either but it's still a great job, their fan support is no joke.
  22. I found an old video of dream appearing on utaban in 2003 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TX7_PK9P19o
