  1. The rerun of the trip to Gimje was very enjoyable. It reminded me of how much I love Kim Joo Hyuk. It was incredibly saddening when I noticed that the shoes he wore in this episode were the same shoes that he had on the day of the accident. I'm glad that they did an "in memoriam" episode of Kim Joo Hyuk. It felt very appropriate.
  2. They're so cute together. I love how she teases him about him having a crush her and how she just ends up casually kissing him. I feel a bit worried that Prosecutor Yeo's mother is going to be extremely opposed to their relationship due to the events that happened between Prosecutor Yeo's mother and Ma Yi Deum's mother. :/
  3. Witch's Court is definitely by far my favorite legal drama of this year. It has the right combination of everything that I look for and love in legal dramas. I love the chemistry between the two leads. Also, in addition to their differing viewpoints on how to deal with the cases, I find it out interesting how their relationship is affected by the fact that she's his sunbae by 7 years. I was shocked to find out that the age difference between their characters was a lot smaller than I thought it was (Prosecutor Yeo's older by 3 years). I'm glad that the main characters are being played by such talented people. My favorite moments have all been scenes that had no lines at all. Their eyes and faces said everything that needed to be said.
  4. I absolutely love the cast of this drama. I especially love how So Hyun is a pianist in this drama too (like Page Turner) and how Shin Jae Ha plays her love interest. I always thought that those two had a lot of chemistry. I'm so glad that they're playing characters that don't hate each other in this drama. I'm so amazed by how versatile of an actor Shin Jae Ha is. I never recognize him until a few episodes after he makes his first appearance.
  5. Wow, they're not telling us the love lines between the three main leads. 1st episode was so fun to watch. I'm excited to see how things will play out b/w the three of them.
  6. Strongest Deliveryman - 6.5/10 Oh Jin Gyu's storyline, the Yeon Ji x Min Chan scenes and app/business portion of the drama were really interesting. Everything else was such a snoozefest.
  7. lmao, it's so true. I wish YG would stop being stubborn and let him make a comeback. Seungri probably did most of the work anyways, and probably took the initiative to ask the producers to work with them. I'm so glad that Seungri is not wholly reliant on his idol activities to earn money.
  8. I was feeling a bit disappointed at first that Kim Jae Wook was the 2nd lead, but after watching the drama, I'll admit that Yang Se Jong and Kim Jae Wook both fit their respective roles. I'm loving the chemistry between the two leads and honestly, I don't really notice the age difference too much. I'm more surprised by the fact that Yang Se Jong was born in '92 and only a little bit older than other actors like Ji Soo and Park Bo Gum. I also have arrived at two conclusions: 1. Yang Se Jong looks amazing with bangs. 2. He should not dye his hair brown ever again because he looks amazing in black hair.
  9. In k-dramas, they often show how two characters can just coincidentally pass by each other before meeting later on in life. Seems crazy, but I think probably happens more than we think it does. I'm pretty good at memorizing faces and names after I make an effort to remember someone. It's been ages since I've last talked to this guy that my friend was friends with but I still remember his face and name. I just find it so crazy how I've been at the same place and same time as him and passed by him coincidentally several times over the last couple of years. It's so random even though we don't go to the same school anymore.
  10. My Father is Strange - 7.5/10 It often took too long to get to the good part and the main couple is pretty boring, but overall, it's was an enjoyable, interesting drama that is full of great characters that aren't too crazy and insane.
  11. lol, this is hilarious. Damn, I should stop myself and not watch any more clips or I'll end up regretting not going to TY's concert.
  12. FranCella, how do you manage to manage all of these drama threads? You handle so many and always manage to keep them up-to-date. So far, I love the leads and the people who are playing the second leads/supporting roles. If I hate this drama, I will internally cry.
  13. King Is Not Easy - It's a historical drama that doesn't feel like one, which is exactly my type of historical drama.
  14. I'm not very happy with the adaptation of Melo Holic. Firstly, they cast Yunho. YUNHO. He's a great dancer and nice guy and all, but holy crud, he's terrible at acting. The role is complex and requires someone who's better at acting to do the role any justice. I'm also sceptical about whether they'll be able to properly adapt it given that it's a web drama and not a drama or movie.
  15. Drama sounds a bit cliche, but given that the writer also wrote an extremely original and refreshing drama like Ms. Temper and Nam Jung Gi, I'm hoping that they prove me wrong.
  16. Omg, a Dumb and Dumber reunion, and for the first time in SIX YEARS, Daesung is a fixed member of a Korean variety show (I don't really count BB's YT reality show thing). I can't believe that both of these things are happening. This variety show is definitely a must-watch for me now.
  17. Living no Matsunaga-san is definitely my new favorite shoujo manga. The premise is simple, but the story is so cute and interesting and the main male character is so attractive lol. Like Hirunaka no Ryuusei, the female main character falls in love with an older guy who's an adult. https://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=138507 I'm personally hoping that similar events that happened in Hirunaka no Ryuusei don't happen in Living no Matsunaga-san. My heart will not be able to handle seeing my Miko x Matsunaga ship get crushed. :'(
  18. I think one of the most common things that public service workers do is office work but apparently some may work outdoors too, but the work is not physically demanding. --------- Whether it's public service or active duty, I hope that the other members of Big Bang serve well and avoid screwing up their service.
  19. I was surprised to see GD perform Obsession. I totally forgot about that song, but hearing the song again made me remember how much I love that song and used to play it very frequently after it came out. It is definitely still one of my favorite songs by him.
  20. DayDay has such amazing people featuring in his album and in his MV. Seeing him perform and still be so passionate about being a rapper makes me tear up. I am always hoping to see the members of Dalmatian/DMTN succeed.
  21. Best drama of 2017 thus far There were so many things that I liked about this drama in addition to the overall great acting, writing and directing. Even though the last two episodes were a bit rushed, the writer somehow managed to tie up all of the loose ends in a satisfying way which is an incredibly difficult feat to pull off. I've seen too many writers fail to do this and they just give up and let the drama end abruptly/have a lot of loose ends Original, fresh and relatable - The writer tended to avoid a lot of frequently used cliches (chaebols, two people in love with the lead and the lead can't decide on who they like until the very end, etc.) and I like how the drama was about the average joe chasing their dreams, their journey, and the obstacles that they face. Some scenes hit really close to home. The best guy friend - I want a guy friend like Dong Man He's probably too good to be true though. The romance - The scenes between Ae Ra and Dong Man were so cute and made me squee. Ji Won and Seo Joon have a lot of chemistry together and I would definitely not mind if they ended up dating each other in real life. One thing that I wasn't really satisfied with was how Sul Hee gave in and forgave Joo Man. It didn't really feel like he fully learned his lesson. I think I probably would've been more satisfied if Joo Man recognized what he did wrong. I like both Becky's Back and Fight For My Way. I'm definitely looking forward to Im Sang Choon's next work.
  22. I think GD's album is totally amazing and it's totally what I like music-wise. Every song could be a title track, but I think they made the right choice making Untitled, 2014 the title track considering the lyrics of some of the other songs. Plus, Bullshit is rated +19 whereas Untitled, 2014 is not. Finally, I had a feeling that I would like this album since I noticed that I only like every other solo album from GD. Now that I think about it, both of the albums that I like are mini-albums.
  23. I've only finally had a chance to listen to untitled and it's fantastic. So raw. I bet it's gong to become a popular song to cover amongst ballad singers.
  24. Since he's only releasing 5 songs, GD will probably be performing mostly old songs at his concerts.
