I wasn't excited to see this until I saw Jonah Hauer-King in World on Fire. I can see why he got cast as Eric. Visually, he looks like a great Eric, and he's such a good actor. Ironically, photos don't do him justice even though he's very photogenic.

I can't believe that he's gone. Since Hollywood finally started hiring more Asian actors, I hoped that he would be one of the benefactors and make it big out in the West like he deserved. That show better not have the audacity to continue after something like this has happened, and if they do, they better change up the filming hours and safety protocols.

Gambling, facilitating prostitution, and more and more damning evidence is coming out. Seungri let greed get to his head, and I can't believe he was already doing these some of these things in his early 20s.

So OT5 is done for. If you told me that this is how it would happen, I wouldn't have believed you. I always thought that it would be because of creative differences, their desires to do their own thing indefinitely, etc. I don't know if OT4 will come back together especially after Seungri didn't protect BB but hurt the group's brand instead while the rest of the members are in the military. I just know that things are never going to be the same again. I think this is definitely the end of an era for me. Big Bang was the last idol group that I stanned. Besides Big Bang, I mostly listen to hip hop, rock or solo Korean artists. It's been a good run.

I was doing some research so that I could submit a request for something to my local gov’t, and while I was doing my research, I found out who lived on my street over 100 years ago. It’s pretty fascinating. I was looking at the records for a certain year and then skipped forward by 10 years. Someone’s name changed, and it appeared that the owner of the house was the wife of the original house owner. Given the timing, I suspect that the owner died in WWI. Maybe it’s kind of silly to feel sorry for someone who’s been gone for 100 years, but man when I saw that, I couldn’t help but feel bad for him and his wife.

I'm so frustrated by the government. I knew it would be bad, but I didn't think it would be this bad. Shit hit the fan so quickly. One thing that really annoys me is that people are throwing around red herrings left and right. They are also relying on fallacies to make arguments. We cannot have proper discourse when people are relying on fallacies. I really wish that they made critical thinking a mandatory class for all high school students. It's absolutely mind boggling how people cannot easily google facts that are available in their language. I can understand for example, there being misinformation in the K-pop community due to the reliance on translators, mistranslations, antis who just like to stir up shit, etc. but people really do not have any excuses for spouting lies when there are numerous reputable sources on xyz topic that are available in their own language.

I really love the little things about the MV such as the bamboo and furry jacket presenting pandas, Gerniel and Adam dancing, and one of the Hi Tech dancers (Kwon twin?) dancing like a total goofball with the police officers.

I was really in the mood for a good rom-com after getting burned badly by The Undateables, and Thirty But Seventeen really delivered. I have so many thoughts after watching the first two episodes. It's such a funny drama and thankfully, the writer knows how to make good use of the coma plot device. Shin Hye Sun looks so good with long hair. I'm so happy she has a role that doesn't require her to cut her hair. Deok Gu is such an adorable and well-trained dog. The moment when Deok Gu snuggled into Seo Ri's arms is absolutely adorable. Omg sfdsfdslfjsl I knew the screenwriter of She Was Pretty was writing this drama, but did not know that the PD of I Can Hear Your Voice was directing. This is a total dream team. I am going to feel disappointed if I end up hating this drama because I love the cast, PD and screenwriter. This drama is very promising, and I hope it turns out well.

Omg, based on the teaser, Seungri's new song sounds like it's going to be awesome, and it seems to be a mix of a lot of the different styles of music that he's tried in the past.

I agree. Dispatch keeps on spouting crap because they have not faced any consequences. They’re going to keep on doing it if no one punishes them. YG needs to get off his ass and get the legal team together. Defamation laws are so lax in SK in comparison to some other countries. I don’t think it’d be that difficult to win since Dispatch keep on spinning a huge web of lies with the intent of causing damage to GD’s reputation.

I just seriously need to rant about Trump. I've had it with him. For a guy who spouts fake news this and fake news that, he's so out of touch with the facts.

So far, I'm really enjoying this drama. It's a nicely executed romcom. If the two main leads work together to try and make the "zeroes" dateable, then I think the drama will be really fun to watch. I'll admit that ep. 1 was so-so, but ep. 2-4 are a lot better.

natsuyuki rendezvous It was the most frustrating and pissing off anime I’ve ever watched. The only thing I enjoyed was the music.

I only watched 2 episodes, but I'm absolutely loving what I'm seeing so far. The new generation of characters are so different from the previous generation, but not in a bad way. The references to F4 and the previous seasons of Hani Yori Dango make me feel so nostalgic. It's crazy how it's been more than 10 years since the first season of Hani Yori Dango came out.

Depends on what's available. If both are available, I'll watch whatever is better unless the subs are coming out extremely slowly.
