I don't really think it's becasue of Sungmin. There's also TVXQ and SNSD in the same boat... Granted, they were not as big contenders as SJ to win, still... I also don't think it's only about the awards (although they would have to be given some of them in case they attended, and those sweeps wouldn't have happened), but more about being the big star of the night? Having the prestigious front row/table seats? Camera time? I'm thinking there's also probably the performance number limits, guest limits on companies, maybe? f.e. SM with their multimembered groups could fill out the whole ceremony list by themselves if given chance... I'm not sure, but imho it's a combination of all these elements.

Hey guys There is something I want to say.. Actually I've been meaning to say it for a while now but wanted to find a way to make it sound as peaceful and diplomatic as possible LOL So here's what this is about: I think it's safe to say we're all ELF in this thread. We all love Super Junior and wish the best for them, and we also try hard NOT to bring any unnecessary hate to the group (and of course to the fandom either) by our behavior. We've also been trying to get rid of the "crazy fandom" image that we've had and I'd say we've been successful - at least on this forum. We've achieved this by having sort of behavior rules that we discussed and decided on. Every time there's an influx of new users we bring them up, discuss again and see how acceptable they are for everyone This usually happens 1-2 times a year and I think the time has come again The main points are to be respectful. To be respectful about the group, respectful to fellow fans and not to bash or bring up negatively other artists. We try not to provoke other fandoms or get into irrational, petty and immature fights if possible. It would also be better not to flood the forum with unnecessary threads that are not informative or fun, could bring the hate for the group/member or the fandom and only serve emotional purposes that could easily be expressed in the thread instead. There's also the matter of the Bashing Thread. The thread's whole purpose is to bash - as hatefully as one wants, but without anyone defending, or the fans attacking you. It's basically a free pass to hate and rage. Everyone gets bashed there, yes, including Super Junior, so it would be nice if we don't jump in negging every SJ post - no matter how we disagree with it or how delusional it sounds, simply because that's what the threads for. And having only SJ posts sticking out obviously with all the negs does not make the fandom look very mature. I think it would be best to stay away from there unless you're ready to overlook those posts (though personally I do make exceptions when it exceeds a bash or goes into criminal accusation territory). Also it would be best to refrain from posting petty bashes by dragging in SuJu's name to put down others - it's not necessary and doesn't reflect well on either the fandom or group. Now about the sensitive matter of the last days and a certain group that's mentioned a lot LOL. I think everyone who chooses to actually think about it knows what went down, but the problem is - literally nobody cares aside from us. No matter how much we rage, still no one here will care and they will only look at us as irrational and delusional. So let's not jump into arguments with the hot-blooded and emotional "we deserved it cause we worked hard!11!!" excuse (everybody works hard) instead of cold facts and receipts (which exist) - but better yet, let's not jump into argument - AT ALL ^^! and just keep it in the thread cause, again, no one else cares and they'll only use it to make fun of us. We should try moving on from MAMA at least, nothing can be done about it anyway. And let's refrain from bashing and bringing up that group, please. It's not their personal fault what's happening. It's just a natural progression (sadly for us), that, yes, is aided full force by the company, but it's still not the group's fault. And there's no need to talk about them anymore. OTL this is what comes to mind for now What do you think? For all they talk about SJ's music, it's very diverse and there's always a song for a certain mood and it's being used on variety shows - no matter how old the songs are. For example, Real Men used Cooking Cooking.

Why are we talking about rules changing? No rules were changed simply because there can NOT be such a rule according to which current situation can arise, unless it's: 'every group can be nominated, except 1) those named Super Junior; 2) those who debuted in 2005 etc' To make it short - there is no possible general rule that explains the exclusion of DBSJ.

The netizens are missing the main point here tho. Actually it's a very simple matter. Weekly Music Shows count points from a specific week. Inkigayo, as compared to MCD, counts only MV views for SNS. So in this matter you either count last week when Hi-Suhyun were 1st digitally and had no MV and AOA would get top SNS score, or you count this week where Kyuhyun was higher digitally but Hi-Suhyun released an MV and got SNS points. But SBS be trying to get the best of both worlds........ Just that, nothing personal
