Why are people acting as if everyone here has a moral obligation to support IZONE just because they watched the show? The entire premise of Produce 48 is based on the tagline of "Choose your girl", and the final voting round even encourages people to focus on their faves over voting for an OT12.

 

I'm not kidding when I say a lot of people who would've stanned Wanna One didn't after it was announced that Jonghyun and Dongho didn't make the cut (and mostly because of Mnet's manipulation). Do you know who they stanned instead? Nu'est W. Lots of people who watched PD48 won't follow IZONE, but the groups of their faves who got eliminated (i.e. AKB, NMB, Afterschool, etc).

 

Let's be real, 95% of why people stan a group is because of a) their favorite member or b) the group's music. Therefore, people here whose top picks didn't get in will and have a right to NOT be interested in stanning IZONE, even if their 3rd/4th picks made it. Many of them may change their minds and start following IZONE if they start churning out bops, and again, how is that a bad thing?? Being an "early" stan doesn't give you any kind of superiority as a fan, especially as an international fan where you don't even get to meet your idols at fansign events/music shows.

 

3 of my 5 picks got into IZONE, but the overall lineup is not my cup of tea, so I'm not planning on stanning unless I end up really liking their music. Does this make me an IZONE anti? 

people have the right to be angry about the lineup, I’m seeing everyone in this thread calling Ifans roaches which is uncalled for. International fans do play part of a fandom to with YouTube views and charting on billboard don’t even try to say international fans aren’t excluded because I’m sure at the beginning this lineup was suppose to be a “global girl groupâ€
