honestly, f all y'all. this forum has nothing to say about lovelyz until it's about talking about why they "failed". they didn't fail. i feel like it's threads like these where international fans try to say that lovelyz is not special or unique just because they don't fit your particular taste. lovelyz switched things up this year with obliviate while maintaining their core lovely/melancholic concept with an emphasis on vocals. i'd say they are doing well in maturing little by little. and they're doing perfectly fine in korea.

it sounds really nice but i can't say the song or concept are particularly memorable....the vocals are good though!

hmm i feel like the song is pretty american, not really kpop. but the choreo definitely!! it's been a while since i saw an american girl group that can really dance as a group. i'll keep an eye on them!

idk how to feel really. their delivery slays the hell out of me but the song itself is kind of messy.

some people didn't like those songs when they first came out and called them "noisy" too tho lmao i feel like it's a whole new standard of noisy these days

their versace on the floor cover was really good!! i think i remember hearing it before actually. i prefer slightly more chill songs so lost in the dream is good for me too. it's not really a ballad but it's more my taste than their more hype title tracks. it's not just the vocals though. the musicians too were not completely in sync (@3:35 the drum sound comes late after he hits the drum) which makes me think it was more a problem with the editing. i mean obviously they capture audio and video separately but it seems like they didn't sync it well. hope they fix that in the next one. you basically just said babysoul's high notes are effortless lmao which they are thank you for noticing. see the video below and stan babysoul

i've been meaning to get more into monsta x and i heard they're coming back this fall, right? what strong vocal songs do you recommend? oh yes fromis_9 just made a comeback too! ??? i know there's backing track but pretty sure it's live. lovelyz is known for their vocals yes golcha for sure! they're coming back next month so there's a good chance woollim would send them here. man i miss infinite though. sunggyu would totally be in his element performing with a live band too

lovelyz is the first idol group to appear on the youtube show 'it's live' that combines live performance + live band. only soloists like eric nam, bibi, solji etc. have appeared previously. what other groups would kill it on this show? i personally would love to see dreamcatcher too! they have some great vocalists, and the live band would go great with their rock influence!
